Belkins Flip Stand > Great for Gtab > $5 after MIR - G Tablet Accessories

If anyone is local to Fry's, the Belkins flip stand (F5L080tt) for the ipad is $5.00 after MIR. Seems like that is a local price only, because the web price is still $24.99.
It works great for the Gtab.

dude. good call. just went to frys and picked one up for $12 with MIR so $5. Also got a nice case for $10.

thanks! just got one today

Yet Another G Tablet Case

Here is yet another case thread to add to the increasing number of good non-specific G Tablet case options out there. It's a envelope style sleeve made by Timbukt2
Link: http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/products/shop-by-price/under-50-dollars/ipad-envelope-sleeve
Specifically designed for the iPad but fitting the width of the G Tablet perfectly (and I mean perfectly) with about 0.5 inches of gap at the top. I couldn't believe how good the fit was when I tried it in the Timbukt2 store in San Francisco yesterday. I bought it there and then.
The Catch? Well @ $30 it's expensive considering you can get a G Tablet specific case from Sears @ $5.99.
I have the Timbuk2 Freestyle (XS) messenger bag...has a separate compartment for the tablet...expensive but well made and sturdy...goes on sale occasionally at dell.com for $40...
Timbuk2 products are phenominal. I bought a used bag from eBay ad used it thru numerous flights over the past 3 years and it still looks great. My dog even went at it and was thwarted.
The CaseCrown 10" Neoprene Handle aslo works with the G Tablet

[Q] Best reliable place to buy a gtab?

After reading how there are fakes around, where's the best place to buy a gtab? Is there any reputable retailer selling one for less than the norm? Sadly, I missed the woot.com deal. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Here.
Tiger-Direct.
ElectronicCrap.com ( if in stock :] )
Deals!Woot has it for $249.99 with free shipping right now.
Here is the link.

I ended up getting mines from Office Depot ($299). There were cheaper places online but I wanted my grubby little hands on it sooner than later and their price was tolerable enough. Unfortunately they carry absolutely nothing in the accessory department. The tablet was surrounded by iPads and iPad accessories.
There was no soot deal when I got mine and I'm an Amazon prime member so I got it from Amazon with free shipping. I would have saved $ by waiting for the price to drop I.e. tiger direct, but by that logic it's a great time to buy a Pentium pro.

HTC Scribe Pen price back to $79.99 at BB

I stopped at a Best Buy to grab a Scribe Pen before the holiday rush and found out that the price went back up to $79.99 (previously on sale for $39.99) On the website it shows out of stock and at the increased price as well. I talked with the rep that worked at the Best Buy Mobile store and he said they might decrease the price next weekend for Black Friday.
I tried ordering one from Amazon in bulk packaging (there were only 2 left when I ordered) but now it's showing out of stock. Hopefully I got it in time.
Anyone know where to find a good deal on a Scribe Stylus in case if my order was too late?
There is a seller on Ebay that sell OEM HTC stylus for $29.95.

Yeah I checked out eBay and saw that one. It's definitely an option. I had a $5 credit for Amazon and should be getting a $10 credit for Best Buy soon so I was looking to get the Scribe from them. I just want to make sure I'm not getting a cheap knock off that doesn't work properly.
I saw the black scribe pen, from the jetstream, on Amazon for 29.99...
Sent from my HTC Flyer P512 using XDA Premium App
I purchased the black OEM one from eBay, and it works just fine. Both of the buttons work and frankly I think the black looks better.
That being said, I have never used the silver one. Another thing to note is that the one from eBay doesn't come with a battery. I'm not sure if the BB one does, but I had to go to Radioshack (my BB didn't carry the batteries) and it cost me about 8 dollars for a pack of two.
Ugh, I can't find my stylus. Going crazy looking for it, but I think I'm going to have to buy another one soon. Thanks for the tips on where to possible find cheaper ones.
Noticed that the price was back up when I stopped by Best Buy last night to pick up some Bluetooth headphones. I was going to pick up a stylus also, but decided against it at that price.
Are they nuts at Best Buy (for raising the price just before Black Friday), or could it be a pre-cursor to discounts on the Flyer price which they want to recoup through accessories (whici is SOP for Best Buy - they will try to saddle you with a "high quality HDMI" cable for your new TV for $59-99 when you can get the same quality from a $10 Amazon cable)? Here's hoping for a few more Flyers in the $200 range!!!!!
So very hard to find these buggers in Canada

Thanks for the promotional code. Almost didn't notice it. ~$25 in US.
My Minisuit Dock/tablet case has shipped and I should be getting it on Monday. I used the 25% off code as well as my $10 amazon gift code (from my originally canceled Asus Transformer Prime order). I paid for expedited shipping and paid a total of $19.41 for the case.

Not available anymore. Not until Jan 31st.
I looked at at it the morning and it said it was unknown if and when they would get more. I was scared mine wasn't going to ship. But it still says it will be here tomorrow.
I received mine today. Can't say how well it fits with the tablet as I don't have the tablet yet (just being prepared). I do like the case itself though. The leather has a nice feel to it and it doesn't seem like it will add much weight to the tablet. Comes in a nice box and was packaged in one of those plastic envelopes with bubble wrap.
Received mine today and it seems to fit both the Prime and dock fine. It has all the right open slots for the various connections needed. And it does not add to much extra weight to the total package.
got mine today too! i really like it. I'll be updating with a horrible unboxing video.
well made decent leather. really nice insides that are super nice feeling like a microfiberish suede.
i got mine today also. I like the case and it seems well made. The only thing I'm not crazy over is how much bulk the case adds to the tablet and dock combo. I guess there is really no way around that though considering how much protection it offers. The only other thing is that there are no holes cut out for the speakers in the case. The sound doesn't really seem to be impacted much by it though.
woohoo! I'm happy to hear that most like theirs. I ordered mine and it will get here near the end of next week.
I already have a non-specific case that holds both the prime and dock, so I'm prepared for it to add bulk. Heck even putting it in a light neoprene sleeve adds bulk. I guess these are so thin and light together that the little added protection of anything more than a very thin sleeve....seems like a lot
I also ordered the $14 minisuit "rotating" portfolio for just the tablet. I like that it provides for viewing angels AND coverage for the tablet if I want to remove it and hold it freely.

HP TouchPad official case brand new for $7.75

Yea you hear it... Everyone looking to buy the official HP TouchPad case, this seller on ebay is giving it away for $7.75 brand new and will ship it worldwide for cheap.
I bought it from this seller two weeks ago for $15 plus $12 of shipping to Italy and I have just noticed he took the price furthermore down, so I thought I should probably share it with you guys.
This is absolutely the best price eva for the official case.
Hopefully this thread will help someone getting it for a really wicked price.
This is not the leather case, just the cheap sleeve, this sells for $20 or less here.

Oh damn it ... I thought it was the leather case.. Grrr!!! However I got the leather one for $15 brand new.. However its still a good price isnt it??
I've been using a Verizon branded leather tablet sleeve on my Touchpad for a while. They were originally produced for the iPad 1 and there appears to be a huge surplus of them as they have been showing up from various websites for cheap.
