is ther any way to unlock the sn X10 phone?
You are a noob.
You posted in the wrong subforum.
There are many threads with the same question.
This thread contains no helpful or valuable info to post it in a DEVELOPEMENT section.
So why did you do so?
Because you can't even read some forum rules.
And why is that crying stuff used for this thread? Did you cry while you wrote this?
cool down mister tiger.seems that you had a bad day ther !
Questions are for questions, developement is for developement.
I just don't know why is it so hard for people to understand.
Dude there is not "free" way, I used this: Unlock_fusion for 4.50$ CAD fast delivery, phone unlocked. BTW I do not work for them.

HI everyone,
I know that this thread has been read and discussed probably many many times. But i know that the phone i have i probably the toughest one to root. I've searched a lot of sites ( unlockers, wiki android, xda and many more) for answers and i have to admit that i've tried only one, the one with goldcard(my rooting process stopped when i tried to flash the recovery and it said that there was sort of a mistake, i don't remember what exactly. I'm not saying that i haven't tried all of the possibilities to root my phone but i'm just asking all of You forum users to help me choose the right one so i won't worry to damage my phone somehow.
Looking forwards to hearing frm You people.
p.s.
I know that user: kad3t had the same problem and he somehow managed to root his phone, i've written him a message but he isn't answering so that is why i'm asking You.
This is the guide I followed: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=645253
I'm rooted and my phone is still alive
PS -- these types of threads belong in either the General or Q&A sections
Thank You very much. And for the future i'll post that kind of threads in the right forum sections
cheers mate
Thread moved to Q&A.
Hi there,
I'm rather new (so sorry if these are dumb questions) to all this flashing / rooting / de branding and had a few questions about it..
Well i bought the x10 on mobile network 3 (three uk) and tbh they are ****. First phone i had i debranded using the SEUS copy file method over, but since then i have had them replace the phone. i tried the same method but as SE have updated SEUS i can't get it to work... :|
So looking around i started reading up on rooting.
Firstly if i follow this guide forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=711907 will that debrand the phone to the generic firmware?
If that is the case will i then be able to get future updates through SEUS or not?
If i rooted the phone, would there be anyway to go back to the so called unrooted version?
And lastly, what are the other pro's and con's of rooting?
Thanks, and sorry if these are silly questions!

Hi.
They aren't silly if you don't know the answer, but considering a search of the forum and browse of the guide (which you could have posted this question on) would have given you the answers it's an annoying post.
Read the rules and browse THIS section.
i had been researching the topic for 2 days before i posted here, i understand the majority of it just not the questions posted above.
i followed the link you posted but it did not answer my main question
will that debrand the phone to the generic firmware?
If that is the case will i then be able to get future updates through SEUS or not?

After searching google with can I run seus after rooting, I found this thread - [Q] Questions about rooting my X10i
Total time, 30 seconds.
thankyou
sorry, just seen so many posts about it didn't know what to properly search for
pardon my ignorance
No worries, but it is frustrating to see new threads asking questions that have been answered a million times already. In future just post on an existing thread instead of starting new ones.
To answer one of your other questions - What is rooting and why should I do it?
yes i can understand that entirely being a member of other forums myself.
In future Existing Posts it is!
Thanks for that link as well, definatly explains things in more detail!

Excuse me, but how to get help for my device. Bliss S5, Android 4.0.4. ?
Thanks for the kind assistance provided:good:
I don't know for sure but I think you have to have 10 posts first.
I can write 10 times HELP ME, then help ?
Thank you so much ! The forums in Russia is not so accepted!
What are the 10 posts you provide? What kind of information ? Where is the location of missile units in Russia ? ? ?
Why do you have such idiotic demands?
TY VM

This device is not supported by XDA (Don't have a dedicated forum). If you have any questions regarding any issues you are facing with the phone, you can post the question in Questions and Answers section.

Okay, if I understand right I guess if you are looking for a dedicated forum for your device (Bliss S5) then you can request that here: *** New Device Forum Requests ***. Sorry I'm not sure what you are looking for, thus giving these links to help you with your query asked in the first post even though its vague. You can either take them, or not, no issues. Sorry, can't delete your account because I'm just a member just like you and members can't delete another member's account, lol. Good Luck!

1) the brick bug is only there on stock 4.0.4 firmware kernel for u so on JB ur safe for now
2) u can root ur phone without installing a custom firmware for sure
3) of course rooting will always have an elemantary risk for sure, but u have to see to it that, why do i require a root in the first place
No (Ask a ridiculous question, get a ridiculous answer).
You really need to learn 'the basics' before you do anything to your phone or you will break it. Read the threads stickied at the top of Q&A, and also read the threads linked in the Stickies thread third post from the top in General.
The questions you've asked have been asked/answered here thousands of times over the past two years, and the answers are in those threads. If anyone serves you up simple answers without you understanding what you're doing, you're going to end up with an expensive plastic paperweight like countless people before you.
Thanks for your answers.

But MistahBungle , i wasn't planning to root my phone right now. And i know i am not ready yet. Those are questions that popped into my mind when i began to read some documentation on rooting and custom firmwares yesterday and i didn't find any answers to those. Sorry if i bothered you.
Anyway thanks again for your help.

i see a lot of tutorials on how to unlock the bootloader for the h831 while searching. has anyone tried these?
i'm curious because i'm getting the g5 tonight. and i might want to root it in the future.
There is no bootloader unlock for the h831 and there isn't one in developement either. If you really searched on the forums, you would have realised this yourself.

actually, there is one:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/how-to/guide-adb-root-rw-dm-verity-off-sprint-t3523499
some have reported it to work. thanks though. and i didn't say i searched the forums, now did i.
Firstly, what you found isn't a bootloader unlock nor a "normal" root method (with supersu and all the bells and whistles). That is actually an userdebug kernel and an adb root is pretty limited for non-devellopers and you shouldn't use it ubless you know what you are doing. So I actually didn't lied to you as there really is no bootloader unlock available for the h831 nor one in devellopement.
Secondly, when you post a question in ANY forum, everyone expect you should AT LEAST make a quick search in the forum iteself or google it. Why ? Because if everybody ask questions without checking if they have been answered, the community is stuck at posting the same answer again and again, wasting everyone's time and ressources. Why somebody should take his own damn time to answer a question if the other person isn't even ready to make a quick 1 minutes search ?

seems like you're angry...how about you just get the hell out of my thread eh?
i asked a question in the QUESTIONS forum! it doesn't matter if it was asked before. if you don't like to answer with kindness, then don't answer at all.
thanks for the info though.
