can anyone try this before in x10? i had a problem with this it said fail to connect you need to have good data something like this! please give some tips i cant get it to work this on my phone
Yes it does work. My phone is rooted and running 2.1 at the moment and PDAnet is working. Is your phone running 2.1 or over and rooted?

no it's 2.2 rom i tried everything but i cant get it to work. i need this for my google account when i change rom
Did you install the program on the computer you are using too along with the phone?
Your phone also needs to be in debugging mode also.
The pdanet must be turned on to work with the phone.
You can also try a different ROM too.

yes maybe the problem is rom. but i try too easytether i can't get it work too i dont know where is problem either in rom or in my modem configuration. when i connect in easytether in windows 7 its show local area connection 2 "No internet Access"
Try a different ROM and post again what results you get?
I suggest a 2.1 ROM to make sure the pdanet works.

I have used this on wolfs rom....not for a couple of weeks but i never had any problems.
Sorry, cant test it at the moment and sorry i cant give any hints....just to let you know it does work with wolfs rom

Currently is only developed for .4X basebands, maybe in the future when we get a stable ROM it will support other basebands, I think its easier that way, if you want to install it, download the file that is posted on the CM7 thread, inside it includes all you need to flash your X10 to .4X baseband and CM7 ...
Is there a how to cause like I said I'm a noob and need a how to lol and how often is it that they do come out with all basebands cause I want cm7

Don't bother. I tried it and couldn't get back to a custom ROM fast enough. It's even worse than 2.1
Anyone know a simple and easy way to root my vibrant 2.2.1 froyo, z4root 1.3.0 didnt work for me....roms, kernals, all that stuff is way over my head, just need some clear and simple easy to follow instructions to root, any help would be appreciated

Super one click root.
Search on google, first link it comes to xda.
Use that. You need to have a computer though..
All you do is enable usb debugging connect usb click root it pushes update.zip to your phone
Then it installs super user app on your phone.
Then click test or something and on your phone superuser should ask for permissions

x2, I have used it a couple times to root my vibrant. first time was on purpose, second time was after i screwed it up by not reading enough, thankfully ODIN saved me and used super one click again

SuperOneClick works, but it was also the exploit in all those bad apps Google pulled and your pc will think it's a virus.
If you use the ALT METHOD in the noob guide you can have a leaked froyo+root, and then flash a custom rom or stock froyo + root.

As the otget guy said, you can see it in about phone. I usually get good results with KB5, but I have hearc of people getting good results with the KA1, but at the end its a personal matter because we all use the phone in a different way.

I downloaded the app wind-up knight from the market but its always gives me wlod when I start it when I check free ram I always have 100+ free ram so I don't think that's the issue.

Using stock 2.3 rom rooted using goro's 4.05 kernel. Bootloader is locked.

Yep I also tried it on wolf's v7
I think the app is just to much in the opening sequence after the first screen that says robot invader I have actually used the app on other phones like the atrix and inspire and the app doesn't use that much ram so if that isn't the problem idk what is.

There seems to be a pattern of having an unlocked bootloader but how would that help?
Which kernel are u using the one based on zkernel or the other one.

Stock everything, works on my x10, no noticable lag, but takes a second or two longer when compared to the atrix.

Actually today I messed up with kernels then I lost root access and had to restore firmware but data stayed intact I tried it with stock kernel and it worked now weird.

Well right now I installed zkernel and it works so I'm happy lol don't really know what the issue was but maybe I unistalled something crucial that the app nedded and when I did the restore it got fixed but anyway the app now works beatifully no lag whatsoever. Ill try to see if I can make a list of the kernels that the app works on in stock 2.3.3

I have an x10 stock gingerbread and the game is great besides the controls becoming unresponsive and it slows down now and again like video lag or just to much in the background running but I have closed apps and what not as was mentioned lots of free ram for the game to run with but besides that no crashes and its a great game best I had played thus far for a phone
