I am having trouble with Notification colors.
If you go to CyanogenMod Settings> User Interface, You will see the tab for 'notification colors'.. I thought this was the right place to change the pulldown bar colors but nothing seems to change?? The Power control toggle widget on the pulldown bar is not visible.. it is all white..?
help would be appreciated
Please tell us here what ROM you are running so we can better help you and who made the ROM?

Try this go to cm settings, press user interface, then tweaks extras, then press theme and pick a theme. That might fix the issue u have. Like pick stock theme.
If that doesnt work, u might have to play a little bit with the cm settings and its colors. Hope this helps.

Yeah FroyoComb & MiniCM have the Theme Chooser but sadly CyaNo(R)Evolution/CyaNoComb doesn't cus' it stable (VERY stable), fast and therefor "simple" but I saw 1 theme for it and would also like to know if there's more out there
EDIT: Or some way to install theme chooser for the CyaNo(R)Evolution/CyaNoComb since it is superior of the ones I've tried so far and I've tried most of 'em.
Haven't had 1 single reboot yet and I've pushed my poor phone just to see the stability
I'm currently on openoptimus rom. I've only flashed this rom and nothing else. I hate the sliding tab lockscreen and want the option of using cm7 settings to change the lockscreen to lense. Is it possible to flash cm7 settings from devoid void and use it with openoptimus. Or maybe the openscript has the option, ill have to look into it

Possibly I'm not sure the only MIUI that I have used is Blackwatch and Alex's and LP seemed to work fine with custom icons on there

Ive used miui for along time, never had luck with any of them when using different launchers, they seem to conflict with the stock miui launcher. It might help to use titanium backup and delete the stock launcher, just make a backup first so you dont end up with a black screen if you uninstall your new selected launcher.

Hello I saw on a friend's phone (LG Optimus, Android 2.3.7 based rom) a special notification menu (the one you activate by sliding from top to bottom): it was white and composed of 2 parts, one for notifications and the other window/part for switches (like wifi, gps, sound...). Have you got any idea what was named and if there is a possibility to install on my ACE? (stock based 2.3.6 ROM) It was awesome and it will help me a lot
Thanks a lot!

Do you mean this menu: http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs...alaxy-ace-review_cd56/notification-tray_2.png ? This menu is in stock ROM
or this??
from HTC sensation and HTC Droid Incredible
UOT Kitchen has got this feature, but in CM 7,2 isnt this menu style...

Someone should port this:

Or at least settings and notification area.

Nope. Miui won't run on HTC Hero which has ARMv6 CPU. It's just really heavily themed CM7
I'm gonna try replacing some apks on CM 7.2 and/or 7.1 on my Ace tomorrow. ;-)

Edit 19:32 (GMT+1), 03.02.2012:
LiGux settings apk works fine when installed as normal apk (pushing it to /system/app/ should also work) but it just has links to Android's Settings.apk
Replacing SystemUI.apk/CMParts.apk/framework-res.apk/framework.jar (CM7.2 RC0 upd. 23.01) makes phone not bootable or breaks statusbar. I don't have any idea why (because I'm not into making android apps and porting them ). BUT if someone knows how it shouldn't be difficult to port since LiGux is also a CM7.2 build.
The better solution for ur question is UOT kitchen... U can check the status bar section and move to quick settings tab.. I never tested it.. Hope it might work...
