Stuck in dock mode after using some non-Samsung chargers - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I noticed once in a while my home key would change behavior and bring up the car dock screen. The only way to fix is to turn the phone off and on. Today I realized the cause: Certain non-Samsung USB chargers put the phone into dock mode and when you unplug, it stays stuck so that every time the home key is pressed it goes into dock mode (until you reboot). It also happens with some USB cables after connecting to the PC. Any suggestions to work around?

[Q]Clock mode in HD dock without power

When I put the Atrix in the HD dock and the dock is connected to the power socket, the Atrix goes into the clock mode automatically. I don't always have the dock plugged into the electric, but I would still like the clock mode to appear. There is a button for the car mode -- is there one for the clock mode somewhere as well? Is there a trick perhaps?
I'm on stock 2.3.4, unrooted
Found in another thread about making a shortcut with AnyCut. Tried it and the shortcut also works when the dock has power. Without the powerm the screen blinks, rotates a bit and then goes back --> doesn't work. Are there any other possibilities?

[Q] charging problem( very very bad situation)

My phone keeps waking the screen when it is being charged (the screen timeouts and turns off before being turned back on again after a few seconds, showing the lock screen), even after i switch back to the standard USB charging cable (charging directly to the microusb port). I have checked developer options and keep screen awake when charging is not ticked so that's not the problem. Turning off screen using power button brings up lockscreen.
Additionally, my phone is not able to be switched off. When i switch off, it will enter into a sort of bootloop where the phone will spontaneously turn itself on showing 'Sony' screen > black screen and it repeats this cycle. The phone can however be turned back on during this bootloop if i press and hold the power button while the screen is black.
Guys help me please
I think that your phone's power button is faulty, maybe stucked or something so I kept being pressed

Screen keeps on turning on while charging & sometimes Power Button on phone wont work

Screen keeps on turning on while charging & sometimes Power Button on phone wont work
For some reason, while connected to bluetooth, the watch's screen will light up and show on the top that it's connected to bluetooth (as if I slided down). Right now I disconnected the bluetooth and it's charging just fine. Also while connected to bluetooth, sometimes the power button on my Galaxy S5 (running AllianceRom) will become unresponsive. Any suggestions as to how to fix this?
Lastly, I had uninstalled the stock email app when I flashed the ROM months ago, but when I go to my old apk's to install it, it won't install. It'll say, "App not installed". How can I get it to install?

lg v30 plus suddenly screen total blackout but phone is working

my lg v30 plus suddenly blackout but phone is working all calls notifications sounds are coming. there is no prior sign of any problem. nothing feels in darkness, battery disconnect and connect again no sign appear even of charging or logo or download mode etc. i reconnect the LCD cables but all in vain
any suggestions please
most important is that i charge my phone the battery is 32% and about after ten minutes i disconnect it not see what is the position and put it in my pocket after one hour i found the phone blank screen
Just now my V30 had its first total screen blackout. I logged on here prior to checking whether anything was working (tried hooking up USB-C charging and Qi charging; phone would have been on silent mode so I don't know if calls / notification were working, didn't bother checking any Bluetooth connections etc.).
Anyhow, the fix was long press volume down + power button for about 10 seconds. Power button alone wouldn't do it. Back in action.
tried button combination but nothing

Peloton screen will no longer boot

Hey everyone,
I have an issue with the bike tablet no longer turning on.
Previously, the bike wouldn’t boot past the P boot loader. I got it into fast boot with Power + Volume Up. There, I went to recovery. This presented a screen with an error robot and text “No command.” I powered the device off, planning to go back to fast boot and try something else, but now I can’t get the device to turn on.
I’ve tried
- holding the power button for extended periods of time
- holding the power button + volume up for an extended period of time
- directly connecting the power to the monitor
- unplugging for several hours to let batteries and capacitors drain
- using adb. Adb does not see the device, though windows device manager does recognize something is connected via usb
Ultimately, the screen is a large Android tablet so hoping someone could help out. Any suggestions?
