I seen this around and thought this would be really nice if someone brought this to this phone http://www.droid-life.com/2011/06/0...pulldowns-coming-to-a-rom-and-theme-near-you/
That's actually kinda cool. Probably a battery killer .but still cool.

Eh, probably a resource hog. Looks like it'd hurt my eyes lol. I'd prolly like it if it was more of a slower motion movement. Either way, would be a neat addition.
I like it. If we load enough of this kind of stuff on or phone, maybe we can get our stock speed back lol.

I'd like it. Maybe having the option in a rom to has it with a list of available animations that can be added to somehow.
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App
I think it would look good if you can have the animated weather there but don't think it would eat the battery up to much ahhh yeah maybe it will
@jigajay very nice find. =
I want this! I wanted nooowww!
Looks simple enough to do though
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-themes/151983-animated-status-bar-pulldown-gb-roms.html
It's an interesting feature to have but not one i'll probably use often, maybe maker of rom kitchen can add this feature to quicken the process for us
Can someone please upload the decompiled xmls seperately...like for status_bar_tracking and animation.xml....or decompile the apk and zip it without recompiling.
I want to use it as a reference as i am a noob

So I found this theme on the Evo thread by Abu and I really would like to use this theme. I am pretty new to this whole thing and was wondering if that is possible to get on the vibrant. here is the theme.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=842460
If anyone could help or point me in the right direction I would much appreciate it. Thank You!
Also, the one on the evo is used with the cyanogen mod, does this matter or is it possible to make it work with Nero?
That's tight, would like to see this happen too
Looking at the theme, its a flashable zip that replaces the framework-res.apk, and several system apk with themed ones. Theoretically the drawables in the framework-res.apk could be used on the vibrant, but I don't think the xml's and the system apps would work. If you're just looking for the status bar being modded, that could easily be made into a metamorph. But all the other stuff would take more time and effort.

Yea I wad able to get some of it over vis theme injector but what I really want is the status bar, phone skin and keyboard, I cannot seem to figure out how to get. those

Hey everyone.
Blackhead92 was kind enough to optimize this for us. Here's a link to the post.
***EDIT***
Here's a link to the download. Someone please upload it to the site as I'm at work: http://www.multiupload.com/T0E77ZYB5Z
Darn.. sorry, mods. Could someone please move it to the Apps and Themes sub forum? I got a little too excited and pulled the trigger lol
could you please send this file to me by email? I can't access the link.....

thank you very much!
It's good, but I just can't use it for one reason, the stupid ass grey bar at the bottom. It makes it look terrible and takes up the home screen.
It's all in this thread. I'm posting from work again so I can't send it. Hope this helps though!

This launcher kicks major ass.
Only thing is a meh to me is the lagginess of the drawer.
Other than that the rest is so freakin silky smooth.
Simply because the drawer lags or has a slowish animation, it doesnt mean that the rest of the phone lags, with this launcher its SUPER snappy..
I love IT!! can't wait for an update!

I know, man. I feel the exact same way. There's that teensy bit of lag you mentioned too but I hope it gets cleared up in future versions.
If blackhead92 can't hack those updates, I can create a patch to apply his mods over the stock one. I'm not the greatest coder but I can do this much at least. Such a wicked launcher. Not sure why no one else cares though!?
I personally like the other launchers but they're totally not polished like this one. Too many small, annoying bugs that the devs refuse to fix or just don't care about. I'm a perfectionist and like clean, simplistic launchers. I don't mind the eye candy either. Everyone at work loves this launcher because it's so sleek!
Yeah. Thanks for this. The 5x4 layout is really cool. I'm m not sure if there's a way to get this with other launchers.

Go to Atrix 4G development sub forum, look at "sideloading" mods. Once this is done then enable sideloading in settings > applications (not sure if this is needed or done automatically) and you should be good.

Launcher looks cool, I'm going to try that, but more importantly where you get the theme??
Or mods to the notification bar ? Are the battery icons included. or I could just wrestle my phone away from my daughter and try it I guess.... : )
EDIT: Loaded 960x540.apk. Looks good. App drawer came up relatively fast for me. Still have GB theme icons in notification bar. Going try 7 homescreens and landscape 230-320 now.
Not really digging transparency after launching app drawer. Maybe I'll get used to it.
It is very sweet though. Going on travel tomorrow, we'll see how it hangs with battery vice Launcher Pro.
Good stuff, Thanks !!!!

No problem, man. It really does look classy and sharp, doesn't it???
I ignore that thread in the main Apps section forever but the thread wouldn't go away. I finally clicked on it, installed it on my phone and was blown away
Just installed it. It is the best launcher in my opinion. It may not have all the nifty features but it looks good and is silky smooth.

It is nice tho in my opinion it needs some work. Replace dock bar image with transparent version and then darken menu image. If no1 else does I will in time.

very cool. but what about the battery icons ? I've slicked everything once again, and have everything reloaded and rocking. loaded gingerblur 1.1, (another work of art) but the GB icons kill me.

Hmm, could you? I hate that stupid grey bar. I LOVED it otherwise. Like I said, I just can't use it because of the ugly grey bar. It takes up like 1/5 of the home screen.
Anyways, I'd do it if I knew how...
Rosie with a splash of color
Update... Updated...
5x5 drawer with custom backgrounds now posted....
So here is the deal... Since myself and killathenoob are finding it hard to find the time to really give everyone a full on theme (And i will be taking a break to mess with my new GS2)... I thought it might be fun to give everyone a little something to play with...
I have modified Rosie with some nice application drawer backgrounds... These will work in ANY Sense 3.0 Rom...
On another note... IF you have a custom image you would like done special for you, just let me know... Its not a massive deal at all for me to do... So dont be shy.... I will mostly work on requests during the day... So evening requests will need to understand i wont touch them till the next morning...
I went with the colors most seem to like... Green, Blue and Red... And semi-transparent...
How to:
- Download to your PC
- Move to your storage (Recovery specific)
- Nandroid
- Flash
- Reboot
Things to note:
- Stock Rosie base
- Lots of xml edits to add in transparent and image backgrounds, along with 5x5 drawer...
- No, this will not flash the surrounding theme shown in the screen shots... (Most of it is just a skin, and not mine)
Reserved for me and future additions...
Looks great!
Thanks much....

What happened to the themes for TW projects? You had some DOPE-ASS custom icon/status bar shapes that really pushed the .png options out there.
TW lost its main developer for the last 6 months while he took care of real life... Now that he is back, I will be back with the team... I have amaze obviously and a GS2 on order... So my more cutting edge themes should start back up... Just need to manage my theme work with my real life... Been focusing on work, my painting (water color) and a lot of charity work...

Very nice. I miss SomB. You really pushed shape options on the Vibe. Once I ditch the macbook, I'd love to collaborate (I do more than UOT FWIW).

Just want to get a view of interest if this theme would be wanted by anyone. I loved it and built it right before the 3.5 craze.
Like stated in rader3bravos thread sense stuff cant be themed, but if your using an alt launcher it would work.
Please vote, and if you want reply with what rom you would like to see it on.

Ya bud, port it over. The more themes for this phone, the better. I could always use some help with finding new framework, so by all means, port away.
Thats a very nice theme you got there .
Looks amazing I like it simple

yup its nice, but i wish someone would make a rom and theme which make the phone really stand out tech wise. Would love things like the snapshot picture or video which shows on cover of album for pics or vids, or even ont he widget on desktop to actually play life preview as the snapshot your hovering over, or make everything all techy and extremely futuristic if you know what i mean

I'd love it if this was a Launcher Pro theme. I'm not going back to Sense just for a theme.
Definitely port it over. Its awesome
@Fernando I meant sense a in m10 3.5. Unless you know a trick we don't...
@mrsmith There is a launcher pro theme posted in the original thread. I think second or third post.
I tried to make it work for anyone. No matter if they used sense or a replacement launcher.

Meaning new png's from Sense 3.0. There are at least 50 +, png's that need to be resized. There's also entirely new png's I've never themed before. It's going to take some time to get it fully themed.

Yeah everything works. Pushed it to system like instructions said. I got a random FC once but it's not a problem. It's light and fast, but too bad for the lack of settings. I know it's for the paid one, but I'm not really gonna cough up two bucks for it so yeah. Also I have problems with 4x4 widgets not showing correctly. Other than that it's great.
I really like the widgets tab on the app drawer because adding widgets is a pain for me, I have so many to scroll through.
