I have just flash the baseband 49 on my x10 and now i can not get signal on my x10. pleases help.
If your rom requires a higher bb you will need to use a patch.

Basebands are regional, so you could experience signal and battery drain issues if you use a baseband that isn't designed for your region.
So, can you please help me i am living in india and i am new to android before android i was using maemo 5.So i don't know anything. Can you please find a baseband that can work .
Run repair software via SEUS or PC Companion from Sony Ericsson website.

I am currently using NTT Docmo Xperia x10 on android 1.6. Its model is SO-01b and i want to upgarde to android 2.1 and unlock the phone as well. But i am not clear which version to use , nordic or global. I am not sure but on according to wikipedia nTT docomo so-01b is based on x10a.
Please someone help me if anyone could give me suggestion.
My Docomo X10 is flashed to global generic 2.1 and running just fine.
Just don't forget to write down your APNs so you can put them back.
You want the "bizho" one, since that's the network where your internet fees are capped.
Thanks for the response gtkashi.I am now in Nepal and want to make the phone work here in Nepal by upgrading to android 2.1. Could u please clarify me whether flashing would make the phone sim free.
it won't. You're just updating the software, not unlocking the phone.
Get in contact with nttdocomo to see what their policies/costs for unlocking your phone are or try to see whether there's some shady services for unlock codes by now.
Global to Docomo firmware 2.1
With this upcoming update for Docomo, if you currently have global 2.1, how would we "instruct" SEUS to flash the Docomo firmware? Would we need to edit some *.prop ?
Personally I'm hoping someone would extract the firmware itself so that the flasher tool can be used to overwrite the existing one.
Either way, 30 min til Nov 10!

have u tried using SE Update Service software??? when i plug in my se x10 mini pro in it, it told me that my can still be update, i think the update is around 130mb something...
i live in malaysia by the way..
Update Service or PC Companion.. same thing, same result.
It seems that you have the newest version available for your country.
If you open your "/system/build.prop", there is a line starting "ro.semc.version.fs=WORLD-1-2-5"
You could try different versions, such as changing it to "ro.semc.version.fs=WORLD-1-8"
This should work but I haven't tried it.
There is also a bit more info on what files are checked when upgrading here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=904800
Hope this helps
Hi..
I m heaving x10i with t-mobile, how can i upgrade to 2.3.3?
Please help.....m new to xda..
Thanks in advance.....

You may be new to XDA but at least you posted your question in the right place. A lot of XDAers who behave and sound like they know what they are doing, don't even follow this rule. So don't worry!
Basically there are 2 ways to upgrade to 2.3.3. One is (1) to upgrade through PC Companion, and the other is (2) to flash pre-rooted version of the ROM.
If you have never used a flashtool or never flashed a ROM before, you should probably go the route (1). All you have to do is to install the PC Companion and connect your X10i to the PC. But you have to wait until an update becomes available for your version of installed 2.1 firmware. Here is something you should take a look at. If you happen to be in the legion where no official 2.3.3 is unavailable now, you may still be able to upgrade anyway if you know how to edit build.prop.
Going through the route (2) is a little more complex than (1) but if you read this or/and this carefully it shouldn't be that difficult.

1234-4820

Someone loaded an X10a firmware onto your X10i.
It doesn't matter since all firmwares work on all phones.
Update the phone manually.

Hi, I need help with my X10i. My Dad sent me my X10i from Dubai here in the Philippines w/ 2.1 version. I tried upgrading it to 2.3 and it was successful but I didn't liked it. So I downgraded back to 2.1 only to find out I installed X10a model number instead of X10i. And now, I couldn't enable and connect to Wifi. I used Flash Tool in downgrading. Can you help me by sending to correct 2.1 firmware version of X10i here in the PH?
Hoping for your immediate response. Thank you.
as far as i know flashing any version would not stop wifi from working..
nyways you can flash the global generic versions from this forum..
