First of all thanks for answer my question...
I whant to know what quality recording have the SGSII, at 1080P so, if any guy can help me taking a short video in 1080P at maximum quality ( with tweaks ) and upload it to megaupload?? ( youtube compresses the video and isn't good )
And some shots with the camera, to compare quality with my old N900.

q...is it possible to make 720p video recording for our ace???

hi
i know this inocent and silly question ..
this thing comes in my mind when i have seen one threat on xda dev for defy about making 720p hd video recording by applying patch....
my question is whether it is possible to make HD video recording for our famous ace through any method ? ??????
is it any way to improve picture and video quality?
my little master .......

It is, according to the old Qualcomm developer site(2010-2011 June (RIP!) ) it had a datasheet of our chipset 720p recoding is posible at ~24 FPS so it will be slow(30 FPS is slow but optimal for video recording)
But developing it will be hard (a lot of kernel and lib mods will be needed)
And im 25% sure that samsung's camera lib sources are needed, and they are closed source.
Alternatively we can try porting S5830i(different ARMv6 chipset) HD recording to our phone too.

OK good news GT-S5830i sources are available
https://opensource.samsung.com/index.jsp
So now we can try to port its HD recording to our phone!!
MSM7227A-T =/= MSM7227-T lol
Herpderp Defy.
720p recording on a 800Mhz Processor!!!!!
Its a kind of OVerkill itself dude..........
So its not immpossible but its too difficult that means

It's likely not to happen.
Ace is running 800Mhz.
Even if overclocked, you need to rebuild system components for this to happen.
Means processor is not capable of recording hd frames.
Is the camera given is capable of it?

[Q] HTC Camera Application on Xperia S

Hi Team,
Sorry if posted I could not find it hence posting the same. i was going through the HTC One X Camera video and was amazed to see the camera application where it can take 4 fps photos and also click photos when a video is being recorded. Just wanted to know if this is achievable in the Xperia S.
If not, is there any other application which can help me to do the same. Also the feature where it can take screenshots from a video which is playing on the phone.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Will be in ICS, it's actually a Google feature.

Thanks K900,
Guess will have to wait for ICS.... was surprised to see the demonstrator stating that it is only available on the HTC One X.
HTC have put there own dedicated chip called imagesense which will be all the one series phones but only those. Any feature of that application which specifically uses that chip will be very hard to port over to any other device.
I had an aosp build of ics on my galaxy s and it had neither of those features in the default camera app
Try fast burst camera from market can take 30 pics

The response time on the XPS is nice so it allows for some nice high speed photography. ICS camera lets you shoot photos by taping on the video preview.

Thx GM007 will surely try the fast burst camera...
yes K900 i really love the camera on XPS it is amazing...
Also thanks to keithwalton for the info.

WTF??????
I told i get out, do u understand? DKM.
@fata|i3y
your request similar to "can we make our screen bigger ?". our cam fps is very poor for video recording. that's hardware limitation. event if it's possible the result will be more like watching slide show than watching video.
LOL...a slow motion camera for a 2MP camera? How Many frames per sec will that be? stop dreaming man we cant do much for SGY
