How do you mean? when you search in the market app, are you saying that they simply don't come up?
are you running a custom rom or are you oem stock?

yes when i search they no longer come up
I'm on stock XEU (UK) KE7
can someone help ?

give me a few minutes... i'm gonna turn my phone off as I'm doing a bit of flashing. i#ll check market for those apps.

I can still find all of those apps in the market, might be a problem with your market then?

okay, I've just looked them up and found them on the market.
I'm quite the noob buddy, so all i can suggest is try to turn the phone off and then on.
sounds like an odd problem. the pros on here are bound to help

I don't know, what should I do then ? :S

Come on.... seriously?
Back on topic: If a factory reset doesn't fix it, it's probably a restriction put on by your carrier/region. Hence, root + marketenabler

Open market and go in settings and in content filtering select "show all apps" and u r done..
Hit THANKS if I helped..

I don't want to wipe my data that why i didn't try a factory reset
after alot of search it seems like restrictions on my region
it seems the only solution is as u said root + market enabler :S

I have the same problem, can't find quite a few apps on the Market, for example MSN Talk or Jefit. Now I tried to find Quadrant and Linpack, but couldn't even find those while before it found them np ! Can it be because I replaced the Vending.apk (with a themed one) ?

Same here. Updated today. Everything is working except the market. But my error seems different. I chose download an app an it just keeps stuck at the download started screen. Any suggestions?
It happen to me too today. It keep crashing on installing process.
This is what I do.
Go to settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> Choose Market Application -> Click Clear Cache -> Click Uninstall, it will ask whether we want to uninstall market update. I go with Yes, and the uninstalling process proceed.
After that I start my Market application from Apps menu and when it started, it show TOS (Term of Services) which is of course I choose Accept. After that my market works again. But I don't know why it happen. Hopefully this can be help for you guys.

i had to reflash today due to a bad theme, and when i did so, i restored all files via titanium backup, went to the marketplace, and presto, same FC issue as experienced by others.

Hmm, In this case ...
BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP all other Apps other than GTALK, keep it safe.
Do following Steps
1) Reboot in to CWM Recovery
2) Do full Wipe of Data and Cache
3) Go to Advanced and Wipe Dalvik Cache
4) Reboot and Then try and Login Again ....
Hope this works ... If worked then
5) Install all missing Apps.
You are ready to go
if not I think Full Flash again from ODIN is the last option
Hmmm ....
Did that but after restoring data of other system apps it again stopped working so got hint that problem is because some other application. Again wiped off and
Kept on restoring some system applications till I figured out which application is causing problem ..
Google framework services is the culprit took couple of hours to find it but now it works

I think its better to start from scratch as you are getting some problems.
Start from flashing stock rom via flashtool and then flash any custom rom
Hey Gooperz06
-Did you try to download applications from your pc, to check if without doing manually from mobile, tha applications, gets downloaded?
-Try to set another gmail account to check if works
-When i installed a new ICS rom sometimes (only each time that i open google play) gets me a timed out connection, but then i press try again or refresh and worked
-Try to install gapps again from xrecovery

Yeah... I just flashed to my stock rom and google talk authentication failed...what do i do now?
I'm sorry to say this but maybe your gmail account is buggered or you have done something wrong somewhere
TELL US EXACT STEPS YOU TOOK TO INSTALL SOFTWARE ON DEVICE!!
Flashtool versions? Rom version, official Rom or unofficial
Rooting / trying without root
Stock with seus
Remove sdcard
Boot up without rooting
Sign into google services
Download alogcat from market
Sign into talk
If it fails, post alogcat log here
Maybe we can determine what's broken
Can you access playstore on your pc?
Also
Don't use WiFi hotspot for market as most of them block certain services
Make sure you have android internet Bolt-on and not blackberry
Try to hard reset your modem / router to factory settings (maybe DNS issue)

[Q] Google Voice crashes at start, need help

Hi,
I'm new here ( noob + hate myself I suppose ) but I'll try my best:
So I had an Galaxy SII lying around and decided to make some use of it.
It was rooted Samsung branded 2.3.3, I had just updated it to cyanogenmod 10.1
following the steps of this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2036229
So far so good, everything seemed to work really smooth.. but Google Voice doesn't.
Everytime I try to start it, it closes instantly and I can see an "Google Voice closed" Dialog
which also disappears instantly, in addition every app that uses this functionality also
crashes as soon as I try to make use of it. Suprisingly, at least for me, is that voice recording
works perfectly.
In first place I googled it in both german and english, either with no helpful results.
I found an article about Google Voice being broken with Jelly Bean, but it also said that
this Issue was fixed already and all you have to do is to update through marketplace.
And naturally I searched this Forum with no results.
I tried to change the language to english ( I'm german ) and tried to put it into offline mode,
clearing app cache and data, updating ( not possible through marketplace, up to date ) nothing
helped.
I also participate in Google Now.
Any Ideas?
Check for updates. An update normally fix this problem
Otherwise u can try to delete data of "settings > apps > all > (Google) search[?] "

I've noticed a few times that when I was running a cm10 rom, some kind of file linked to Google voice search was frozen in tb, even though it was a fresh install and I hadn't even touched it.. Might be worth looking through your apps in tb and unfreezing it..
