i use to watch HD movies using my samsung wave s8500 in my LCD monitor by plugging an audio/video output from my phone to my TV.my question is, does x10 support this kind of output?

that's probably not for the x10. Arc or play mayable, becasue x10 doesn't support that...
X10 doesn't support video output, only audio.

AFIK, the touchpad doesn't have hdmi capabilities. It's a hardware thing.

So I know the hd 6&7 can mirror via a micro USB to hdmi cable and from what I can tell this model of the fire isn't supported with the fire tv however I did find this as I'm sure many of you have also found. Now does that mean through maybe a custom app we stream with miracast devices? ( smart tv, fire tv, etc.) any information would be much appreciated!
