Anybody got this working ???a2sd on devoid???
Its working fine with me.
Sent from my LG-P500 using Tapatalk
how did u set it up?? Wipe everything then flash devoid-final then dt's a2sd zip and reboot right???
Sorry wrong post.... I am using Ungaze Data2SD and its working fine.
I've added a2sd by DT by decompiling devoid.final on the kitchen.
Then I've added a2sd from the kitchen menu and the compiled back the ROM signed.zip to flash on my phone
If you are unable to do this by yourself I can (with noejn and franco permissions) upload my devoid. #froyo-final-a2sd rom
u better upload the rom i know to use the kitchen but i reinstalled debian and dont want to go through all the trouble of setting it
Just make your own devoid. That's easier than trying to add DT a2sd on a rom that doesn't support it.

do you prefer to have dalvik-cache on the phone or in the SD?
I've it on the phone because it seems faster (but it costs space on the memory phone)

Not so simple to make a devoid like the noejn one. You can remove the apps but he has done a lot of customization for performance improvement......
Yea a2sd wasn't working on my openOptimus,so i made another version with a2sd inbuilt and worked.
Yuo can find modified ROM HERE
It has a2sd and last Zeam version

Is that devoid-final with a2sd built in? Thanx man u saved me some trouble..
Edit- btw how do I move dalvik cache back to.phone rom memory from sdcard..also wats the payoff of keeping dalvik cache in memory (ungaze.s data2sd I guess)and does it build again at every reboot? Is dalvik-cache a binary form of the apks?

With this rom dalvik-cache remain is on the phone (only apps are stored on SD).
The only problem is that it occupies internal memory (but in very slow percentage).
I prefer to keep dalvik-cache on phone because it seems faster on my phone
does the modified rom need an sd partition? is it flashable by cwm? thanks!

I've been using apps2sd on devoid final with no problems too. I use Apps2sd GUI to make sure that it is working though. Moved the Dalvik cache to the sd card.

hi,
first messages are from non working GPS, maybe you have a wrong/missing GPS libraries
other messages are related to USB ("ignoring unknown switch... blah").
both types of messages arent bad, phone have to boot - even with these errors.
did you get some other errors?
ya,first I got audioeq error but then I replaced libaudioeq file
so you mean phone should also boot with those error
or I am doing something wrong ?
after this log phone stuck at LG logo and do nothing not booting and no log

Hmmm kewl... but you should try doing it from source... now while porting this if you are stuck, its quite tough to get outta it... look at ciaox sense port.. it just cant be completed.. sorry but all the best with it...

yup but LG optimus net ROm is first port by GT540 devs and then we port there port to our P500
LG gt540 and LGp500 are from same manufacture so I think it's not so tough for porting
as in ciaox case he is porting HTC rom
and he success but The only problem is with that baseband related things
so htc doesn't gave the source code
that's why he was not able to port it
and I have 2 weeks to work on this port as it is diwali

O1 hardware isnt the same as Optimus SX or GT540.
Alle devices have different hardware but the GT540 - there is the same GPU and CPU, but other RIL and some more stuff.
Copy only some libs wouldnt work - some parts have to be compiled from sources or can be used by compiled libs, this needs a lot of luck.
wish you all the best and good luck

thank you very much,andy
I will try to learn creating from source
but what's the problem in this port
why there is no log after this
if I don't get what is problem then how could I fixed it?
please help me
you get the log when open adb (android debug bridge) from windows:
Code:
c:\>adb logcat
or just use the "ddms" application, this is the visual live debugger for android.
you can debug all code but the kernel.

Hello,
First, thanks to great developers ans support guys here.
I installed Android 2.3.3 / SuperNova 2.4.0.1 / iData2SD Renaissance Edition X6E Droidzone.
I've setup Data2SD and I have around 4GB spare internal memory, but when I try to create
a new SMS or read an existing one, I get the error "Unable to manage your messages because
your storage is full. Please delete content from other applications to make more space"
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Hi,
I have the same problem... Could it be because of a wrong installation of Data2SD?
Thanks in advance and congratulations for your work... you're great!!
Solved!
Hey, I solved my problem reading this post
{ http : // droid-force.com/showthread.php?tid=146 }
You get this error message because the ext4 partition is too big.
The solution is simple: with gParted reduce your ext4 partition to 2 GB (2048 MB), expanding the fat32 partition to fill the non-allocated space.
Remember to leave no space before and after partitions.
Thanks DroidZone again for the great work. Now I have a new phone! :highfive::highfive:
Hi,
Internation Pardus v15 image on rooted i9300, works very well except for this really odd USB connection error when connecting it to my Sony BT3900u car stereo, it was previously connecting without issue on the v15 Pardus build but for unknown reasons to myself now always presents an error.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
After getting this issue the first time, I ran through a full rebuild, wiped phone/cache/dalvick and error still persisted post rebuild.

Or, make a txt file called gadgetDisconnectAndConnect and place it in /data/data/com.samsung.android.MtpApplication folder.

clear data and cache
and reboot
also the errors are mainly due to the mount being as readonly
make sure the system is mounted as writable.
and proceed
and post back here
Can you upload the entire logcat? Use Pastebin to make it easy. I'm not sure what mounting your system as writable will do, but I'm sure that the reason is probably simple as stated above.
[Porting] CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE < /system/bin/ file>: cannot locate symbol < ... >
Hi.
I encountered a problem while trying to port AOSP Extended v. 4.1 (Android 7.1.2, kernel 3.10.65+, MTK 6753) on my device (VOYO Q101, 2GB/32GB, kernel 3.10.65+, MTK 6753).
After successfully started the booting process (after one week of research, and a stupid line in /system/build.prop: ro.setupwizard.enterprise_mode=1 which caused stucking at logo), I have managed to get a logcat via adb. LOG (it's 8MB)
It is booting.. and booting... forever. It is not stucked, nor bootlooping. It is just booting (the "Google dots" animations running forever).
I have attached the log. There are a lot of CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE <....> cannot locate symbol < ... > referenced by <...> and also a lot of:

[What I did]
- just copying the kernel from stock ROM (tried also: stock kernel + stock ueventd.rc +/- stock fstab): all caused bootloop or even stucked at logo. Just kernel change works good (at least till the actual stage) .
- compared with old .rc files. No replaces needed (in my opinion)
- From system/build.prop file I have DELETED all lines from ADDITIONAL_BUILD_PROPERTIES section (especially ro.setupwizard.enterprise_mode=1) - which took me 4 DAYS !!! to understand why it was stucked at logo .
- tried with and without patching with init.d (from porting ROM's website)
- tried to put the stock binaries mentioned in errors <CANNOT LINK ...> (/system/bin/mtk_agpsd, xlog) - not booting at all (it even stucks at logo...). Should I try with stock linker.so lib(64) ? But I think it will not boot at all (It really can't).
I hope for your help . Thanks!
