Hey guys, I have to send my Dell in for repair and the tech specifically warned that if they find it not running stock software they wouldn't honor the warranty. I'm not in the mood to fight with them over this, I just want my phone to work. How do I get it back to stock from DJ Steve's 1.9 ROM?

I wouldn't have started a new thread if the wiki wasn't down. Can somebody help me with some information on how to go back to stock HTC UK Rom? Or do I need to go the stock rom if my HTC is not branded? Can I just send it like that?
A little mark under the screen, right in the middle, appeared a few days ago and it is very annoying (similar to an air bubble under a screen protector). I called HTC and it turned out that my HD2 is still in warranty so I need to send it back. But without the stock rom they may wave the warranty.
Any advice on how to get to these guides?

Just found out that I have newton rings developed on my screen. How can I go back to stock UK rom. Do I need to reflash the hardSPL as well?

You can try running the QDL tool again...
There is a thread here in xda that guide you how to from any 2.2 froyo to 1.6 and with that is how you go to 02 2.2 all you need to do is search the general or development section, the reason no one is answering you is because almost everything you need is here, almost all the guide is here, all you need to do is search. You can go to the dell wiki section all you need to know about the streak is there., all the roms, recovery, links etc are there. And don't forget, Google is your friend.

I need help because I have downloaded streakdroid 2.0 and I try installing it from rom manager but then when I do that my streak just restarts and just goes back to normal froyo? Can anyone help me.
If you did a little research you would find out two things...
ROM Manager does not work with the Streak. You have to flash a custom recovery from fastboot....
I'll let you play with that idea and do some searching. Look through the threads that are called Clockwork Mod, StreakMod and Multi-Recovery Flasher and take your pic of which you wanna use
And uninstall ROM manager from your phone

Please understand that what I'll be doing is giving you advice to keep you from frustrating yourself...
If you are a noob, then StreakDroid 2.0 is NOT for you, it's still under development for the most part and has several issues that make the ROM slightly unstable for everyday use. IF you want StreakDroid, then SEARCH this DELL STREAK forum for the guides needed which have links to the files you will need and use StreakDroid 1.9, without the perfmod so it will be stable for you until you get the hang of things.
Good luck cause you have A LOT of reading to do. IF you don't read, you'll just be pulling your hair out and kicking yourself for having goofed your phone.
Guys I have a dell streak and made the mistake of going honeycomb without first reading into it. Now im afraid ive bricked by phone? I would like to get 2.2 or 2.3 onto my streak 7 so i can develop better because it seems like the 3.2 there are not many HD games out and the market has not migrated to the new version yet. Can someone please give me a walk through procedure on how to mod or root this to install 2.2 or 2.3 or anything that will work with the mainstream applications and games.
First thing you should do is make sure you are posting in the correct forum. This is the Streak 5 forum. I'm sure you would get better luck and responses in the Streak 7 one.
I do not see a difference for me it just says that im in the dell streak section could you help point me in the correct location?

So you want to return to stock for whatever reason? These are the steps you follow to return your device to COMPLETE stock state
well im only stocking it so i can sell it, dont want buyer to do a ota update or something and ruin it.
