Hi everyone! This is my first post so don't doubt to tell me anything i do wrong...
I just finished a little icon pack for my LG GT540, and i'd like to share it with you. I've taken a little bit of here and a little bit of there to customize my launcher app shortcuts, hope you like them.

After some hours reading threads, fighting against png's, adding system paths, and signing apk's (never did any of these before...), i got to change my widget icons!!!i'm not sure how it got to work, but it works!
My last quest would be to change the widget font color, anyone can help with that?
PD: pashinator thanks again for your short but helpful post, the word "res" helped me find a thread where i learned where the icons are!
PD2: If anyone want to know how i did any of the steps, just ask.
I change my icons all the time so if you need just pm me and I will guide you fully.

I was wondering if anyone could make me a firefighter theme for my vibrant. I have one on my ipod that I love but cant find a good one for my phone. I cant figure out if there is anyway to get the theme off the ipod to use some of the images. If anyone know how please help. I do not know anything about theming but I will post it up on here so that people could make me a theme. Here are some pics I took. couldn't figure out how to do screenshots on the ipod.

If nobody will make you a theme (and all honestly, I doubt anyone will) you could always use this quick workaround.
1. Connect your iPhone to computer, use iFunBox to extract the PNGs from your theme
2. Transfer said PNGs to your Vibrant
3. Use ADWLauncher to set custom icons for your apps
4. Set fire as wallpaper
4. ???
5. Profit!
Keep in mind, this won't change the icon in the app tray, but they can't all be winners.
Thanks to everyone that has posted on this thread unfortunately I am getting rid of my vibrant and getting a dell streak. Hopefully I will like it and try to theme for it. If not it will be up for sale. Thanks again.

but i'm still trying..
Check Settings/Lock screen/Symbol if you mean drawing a symbol line between points.

Yes it requires a hell lot of modifications of the various smali files and framework xmls and settings.apk .If you are able to change lock screen by modding these then may be you can make something like 5 lock screen mod;i.e.; glass lock screen,puzzle lock screen ,fascinate and epic lock screen,like the 5 lock screen mod of galaxy S. I wish you best of luck. That would be a great milestone to achieve.

The only thing I know is yo modify your SystemUI.apk with apk manager . I don't know the exact steps .

Yup, you'll have to find and replace the image files. Contact Seilent or search for the tutorial in section "Android Themes"

You have to do this manually. Open your systemui.apk with winrar. Open drawable-mdpi and you will find your current pulldown menu buttons. Just replace these files with what you like and also make sure that file names match.
Hey SGAce, i perfectly didnt understand your question. Do you just want to change the icons pngs or do you want to change their functions itself? Changing icons png has been expained before by other users but if you want to change functions of these, its a tedious job with editing xmls and resources and etc. It is a lot better to wait for the nightlies of CM7 lol

Hey guys, I'm trying to make the status bar icons opaque on an ics Rom (the icons to the left, like the debugging, usb, unread notifications, etc.) as in kitkat roms. does anybody what values should i change? I'm sure it's not on drawables.xml and it's not the png's either (they are already opaque). Statusbar.smali maybe? if that's the case, what are the lines that i should modify? Thanks in advance!
