Just flash the PG05IMG.zip of the original radio? Or is there a different way to go about this.

Okay I thought so just didn't know if there was anything different thanks a lot!
this should work for non-root too?
i thought if the radio was older, it would not flash... has anyone tried going back? i'm considering trying CM7 and need MR1 for that.

That's not true, it will still work. Flash away
Just remember tho that if you flashed the full RUU of the MR2 leak then you lost root, so hopefully you had just flashed the updated radio.
i didnt flash the RUU, just the radio. anyone know which radio is the proper one to work with CM7?

I guess I could always dump radio 1.40 on it and then see what happens with that ROM after. Just to play it on the safe side.
Aright, I flashed back to the stock Verizon ROM. The complete ROM does in fact come with radio 1.30.
A few details to be sure please

I have been waiting patientlt for the stock ROM before messing around with mine as I wanted a roll back path as well before killing the stability of the stock ROM. So what I would like to know is did you run the re-locker back on the phone so the bootloader would be back to stock before loading the stock ROM and radio ????? Or did you still have the 2.4 bootloader on it ??? Looking forward to your answer cause I have been wantuing to play too ;-) Thanks.
Hosed my phone!

Is it possible to downgrade the radio? Phone seemed much smoother before upgrading. Want to go back, possible?
Just restore a backup

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe that's quite how it works. I think it's not that simple, if I wanted to revert from a new radio and what not on my Fascinate I had to odin it back? I may be wrong though, I'm sure someone with far greater knowledge will chime in.

You are correct, it is not that simple. As far as my knowledge goes you would need the stock ruu and run that in hboot. This of course would reset your phone to stock. The real answer to your question is someone would need to pull the previous radio version and make it hboot flashable so you do not lose soff and recovery

Are you sure you got the correct radio update? There were a couple of versions floating around yesterday that were missing or had something wrong with the 4G radio. It might be worth downloading again and reflashing if you haven't already done so.
On my G2 all we had to do was flash the old radio in hboot in zip format. Problem is that I haven't seen the old radio posted any where in a zip format.

I dont think i flashed the right one. I just reflashed the correct one so we'll see if it helps.
And no, restoring a backup will not restore your old radio. That i know!
OK, really interesting question (at least to lot of us noobs!)
If I restore a nandroid backup, does the radio it was working with get reinstalled?
Or do I have to re-install.
Specifically, I am going from GB with MR2 and want to redo a Froyo. Do I have to go find the Froyo radios again?
Thanks

Depends on the Froyo you want. If it's one of the three ROM's that just came out with the MR2 radios then no. If it's an older Froyo ROM then yes...you have to flash the old Froyo radios seperately from the ROM.

No, each has two links because one is a mirror.
only need to flash once, they're both incorporated into the same file. like ilovesoad said above, the second one is a mirror.
thank you gentleman
Hi, does anyone have the 1.77.30 AT&T radio to flash back to? I wanted to try out some new ROMs and was advised to start off completely stock before doing so. I've tried searching for the old radio but cannot find any downloads.
The old radio is .15 not .30. I might have .30 on my laptop. It'll be this evening or tonight before I can send it.
I voided my warranty and your mum.
