Hello friends,
i have used MIUI 1.5.6 and now i changed to wolfbreaks new rom
so i want to restore the apps from my miui but how can i do that?
i have taken the backup.apk fromthe MIUI rom but wenn i install it the the package isntaller give me a fail.
Please help and sorry for bad english
a lot of miui is not compatible. I had to use smsbackupandrestore to get my sms =(

Hello guys , I have problems with installing Launcher Pro Plus on my tattoo.
It doesn't want to install.
It says:
this app could not be installed on this phone?
My version of OS is Android 1.6 , the phone isn't rooted...
Can you help me , i've tried different versions of the program but without any success.
Launcher Pro doesn't run on Android 1.6.
It requires Android 2.x
So... if I install custom rom which is 2.x , it will works .. right?
It works fine on iventor's froyo cm6 rom
Also works fine on 2.2 with SP-FroYo
can i install launcher pro from sd card ?

just got luck I found that months ago. lol. ) but still, be careful on what you'll be deleting. Make sure you backed up your phone before experimenting!

hi everybody i too want to remove some apps but i have 2 quistions.
1.cant turn on wifi and bluetooth at same time?
2.why cant find my device in rom manager or what profile can i use i have xperia x10 mini pro
rom manager is not yet finialized, i just forgot to take it out. Its a little project i am working on to include rom manager for easier flashing.

a bit of an unrelated question with regards to this topic but slade is clockworkmod recovery an alternative to xrecovery? or can you have both at the same time?
Xrecovery is the only compatible recovery we have. I think.

Hey i have slades gintonic 2.1 rom with latest ZP kernel. Then i have a problem. When i try to open dsp manager its fc. Does somebody have a fix? Maybe slade himself? What can i do?

I have tryed innstalling the rom again with and without factory reset. It didnt help. It have worked before in the other versions of gin tonic but not this one :/

Hey!
Now ive changed my rom to ginger dx pro v17. I have the same problem. I set headset to bassboost - extreme and the eq on and select treble boost and then it fc. Why? Does anybody have a fix?

have you tried clearing dspmanager's appdata yet?
while turning off the option to backup and restore settings from your google account ofcourse.

Tryed it now... It actually did dsp manager working again but as soon i touches a preset or trying set it manually or turning on equalizer it fc...

What rom are you on atm?
What you can try is to go back to gintonic (if u were on GDX) or back to GingerDX (if u were on GT), then remove appdata for DSPmanager again and see if it works then.
it could be that the version installed in the rom you are using is corrupted.
if so, try replacing the apk in system/app with the one from attachment.
(in case of a DSPmanager.odex file present, remove that as well, and ofcourse clear appdata again )

Thank you! It worked. Im currently on gingerDX pro v 17 but i think i will go over to slades gintonic again since he got a update now... But anyway now its working great thanks again

Stop develop another MIUI rom. Because every single miui rom has the same bug. there is no point to have new rom with same problem. it is better to find how to make the existing rom fully working and stable rom for daily used, both for work and entertainment.

Basing on the first post, I think he is developing an existing ROM (i.e. paul-xxx's MiUI v4 ROM).

Go Backup. It can back up all your apps, settings, sms etc..
