Hi if anyone wants a 16gb sd hc memory for there phone
There £10 on ebay.
Dont worry its not me selling them.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SANDISK-MICRO-SD-HC-MICROSD-16-GB-MEMORY-CARD-/150440591800?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_AudioTVElectronics_PDAsAccessories_MemoryCards&hash=item2306f541b8
how do we know that seller is even genuine? he has no feedback whatsoever. I think we should wait till the 50 or so people that are on his selling history actually received there SD card.

That level of assurance is just what I needed to buy.
Seriously though, when making a purchase remember that if it's too good to be true it usually is.
looks like the product was removed. probably some fake stuff or rip off.
Doesn't the x 10 come with a 16gb SD card?

No thanks. Nearly all memory cards on ebay are fake.
Avoid memory on e bay ,you can get great deal from online retailer like tigerdirect .
they are crap and not worth the hassle. I won one on bidding for £9, thought i'll give it a go because your covered by paypal. The data transfer speeds are extremely slow and will keep asking for format when your trying to browse files via pc. Complained to the guy n got a full refund. Cheapest and good quality memory cards are around £27 class 2 anything cheaper is just a fake.
rogers canada ships with 16gb

So When I bought my SG S II I got it from Best Buy, only because it was a sunday and I had to have a phone. Anyhow, did you guys get an SD card with it? I thought at least it would come with a lame 2GB like my wife's Infuse, but I got nothing? WTF? My buddy with verizon gets 16GB cards with his Droids. SO Im am wondering did I get gimped out? or do they come with no SD card?
I got mine from AT&T and I didn't receive an SD card as well. Although, for me, I was trading in a thrill. although, I still paid $235 so I feel that I should have gotten one

I think most HTC phones have very little internal memory (from a quick search, HTC Sensation has 1gb, Thunderbolt hs 8gb) compared to ours, which is why they probably include a microsd to keep up.
Yeah, direct order from ATT, it came with nothing at all. Slightly dissapointed it didn't come with even a headset.

Now THAT was disappointing.
This was one of the most bare bone purchases in a while. I was just happy I got a box...

It was disappointing.
The Droid Charge came with a 32gb Class 4 in it AT&T is way too cheap to ever have anything like that.
I'm more disappointed that the phone did not come with the media dock or HDMI cable... I've got my 4GB card that I had been using in my Cappy so I am good to go...
Don
You guys do know the Galaxy S II comes with 16GB built in, right? None of them come with a card. I work at Sprint and own an Epic 4G Touch (Sprint GSII) and it doesn't come with one.
I found a 32GB class10 on sale.

Well that's because the Charge had 512mb of internal storage. Class 4 microsds are slow as hell. I never move any of my apps to SD for that very reason and just use it mainly for music only.
Again, the GSII has 16GB built in. That's why it doesn't come with one in the box.

Then how come other Samsung phones like the Infuse, which also has 16GB internal storage, came with an SD card? It's not a big deal to me as I already had an 8GB card ready to go but clearly Samsung gutted the package a tad too much. Infuse also came with the HDMI adapter.

I have the infuse and it came with a nice headset, hdmi adapter and 2GB sd, this sgs2 just came with a $200 bill, i think they pull out all that stuf to keep the price at $200 with 2 years contract like the infuse, sgs2 is more expensive... bahh

Coming without an HDMI adapter kinda sucks...
Now, coming without an utterly worthless 2GB SD card - glad they didn't do that.
This reminds me, tomorrow I need to run some HDMI tests on my Infuse

Good point on the headset, forgot about that. I question whether some of these items removed were to promote the sales of BT headsets though... but again, I already had one so luckily not a huge loss here.

Never buy MicroSD's from eBay. 99% of the time they're fake.
Anyone know if this is compatible with the Amaze?
Just curious if anyone has actually tried it.

Haven't tried it but for what I hear and understand it won't work.
That's what I thought. Too bad! Woulda been nice to have 64gb of music and videos on my phone!
There has been report on Android Community that indeed this new SDXC cards works on many devices - both old and new phone, tablet (SGII, SGS, HTC Sensation ... )
http://androidcommunity.com/sandisk...working-on-multiple-android-devices-20110927/
On Sony
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1339600
Eee Pad
64Gb
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1278950
Some other devices also confirmed works with even the 128Gb SDXC card
128Gb

Gathering infos from those link, it seems like one will have to using the phone to format (aka erase the card from inside the phone) the card and in some case, formatted it to NTFS
Some time ago while i still had htc sensation there was a post about it and 64 gb worked but not the 128gb. I assume its the same for the amaze but dont takemy word for it search the forums. From what i found the galaxy note cant use 128 gb one

If anyone has knowledge of what works on the Amaze please let us know!
Guess we're just going to have to wait for someone to buy one of those 64 or 128 cards and find out. I went ahead and bought a 32gb card last week before I even saw this post. Too bad, if I'd have known there was a possibility that the 64 would work, I would've gotten that one.

I use Google music but then again you need data connection and it uses bandwidth. Not a big music listener. I'm more of a photo person hence the amaze.
I thought the Amaze accept 32GB max.
how could you use 64GB, is there any way how to bypass this limit ?
if it worked on the sensation why wouldnt it on the amaze?

That was my plan. I have some Best Buy gift cards but unfortunately they are sold out. If the price stays the same when they are back in stock I may do it.
I get paid this Thursday and I was going to get a 32 but if anyone can find the 64 in stock by then I will give it a shot and let everyone know if it works
Does Bestbuy have a restocking fee?
I would try it but I hardly use the entire 32gb on my existing card so don't really have a need for it.
Maybe if someone worked at a place that sold them and they could just try it out. Maybe that's asking a lot though.

I don't believe there's a restocking free on sd cards...just computers, tablets, tvs.. not small stuff...a quick call would suffice.
works perfectly
Hey y'all,
I noticed some wondering about this card.
So I got mine from Amazon, class10 64mb sdxc
When I first put it in, notification said card error.
Then it prompted me to reformat.
I let the amaze reformat her and now I've got 60 gb free showing in the settings apk under storage.
Just wanted everyone to feel confident I'd they want to spend the money, several vendors addy amazon do have the cards in stock now.
Good luck!
i may have to end up ordering one
I've returned a 32Gb PNY card about two weeks ago from BestBuy and there is no restocking fee charged.

Well i was just asking for people's opinions if it was actually worth it as you own one. I've tried it on gumtree.com, basically like ebay, and I had to text them all or e-mail them, wait like 4 days for a reply which would be 'cash only'. This is the real only other alternative.
As stated before, wrong place and I suspect maybe a mod will come and delete this, but the phone is great! I would dare say the BEST phone out in the market now (or on par with galaxy nexus & note).
*but being as it is used, make sure you can test it all out first and they can guarantee you a refund within a week or 2 if there is any major problems.
**so bring a notebook with you to test it's working with usb, etc too.
The lack of a 32gb Note 2 means I would have to use a 64gb card with it, we're I to purchase the phone. I currently have a 32gb S3. I originally bought a 64gb card with my S3 but experienced nothing but problems with it. When I go to the SanDisk support forums it appears I am not the only one; lots of people report the exact same problem, the card would basically die after 1hr to a couple of days. Card would show as damaged on phone, require a reformat, reformat would fail. Nothing could be done after that. I have used both a SanDisk and a Samsung 32gb card for years in various phones with no problems of any kind. When the problem happened with the 64GB card, I returned it, was told it was defective when it didn't work for the seller, was given a replacement, and the same thing happened. The seller just returned my money and said they didn't want to sell me anymore cards because they didn't know how I was f'ing them up. They couldn't get them to work again either. I ask because this is the only thing keeping me from buying a Note 2 TODAY. Anyone using a SanDisk 64gb card with theirs?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium
I've been using a 64GB card since I received my Note II on release day.
The only trouble I had was when I flashed an aosp ROM and the card was formatted exfat instead of fat32. I ran chkdsk on the card and it was fine after that.
Mine works fine.
The note 2 handles ex fat. My 64 worked perfect out the box. I have 40gb of movies loaded up and it never has failed
I have three 64 gig sandisk cards & have had nothing but trouble with them, I would NEVER buy another one.
I have had two replaced under warranty and one of my current ones is acting up.
Since I keep them backed up religiously to my PC I don't worry too much about it, but they are complete junk IMHO.
I went through 4 64gb cards before I got one that has worked. Had it since a few weeks after the gsiii came out.

This seems to confirm that they are unreliable, at best. Can anyone suggest a reliable seller to buy from? Maybe I should pay the extra and get direct from SanDisk.

Nothing you buy is going to have a 100% success rate and it won't please everyone.
I think most posts you see about the Note 2 sdcard will say sandisk 64, and I believe you will see the majority are satisfied.
Ya im gonna go with a sandisk 64 and see how i make out
Sent from my Beast SCH-I605
I would buy a Secure Digital or a Kingston myself, I wouldn't buy another Sandisk even if they where 50% off.
I had completely forgotten, I also have a defective 32 gig POS Sandisk sitting here that I never bothered to get replaced.
I ordered the SanDisk from Amazon.com. I don't get it, it's a memory card. There are no moving parts, it doesn't get tired or worn (unless you're constantly taking it in and out). The majority of the negative reviews say it worked fine for 4 or 5 months or so then just quit. With all the variables assicoated with something like this, to me it seems more likely an app or file caused corruption in the negative reviews.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
The problems I have had with Sandisk are not corruption, the cards completely cease to function & will not even reformat.
Sure, they replace the junk under warranty but it's still a PITA.
You guys buy whatever you want, I don't really care but it makes little sense to me to buy Sandisk when there are other brands available that are far more trouble free.
I have had a ton of memory cards over the years & the one brand I will never buy again is Sandisk (the only reason I bought them originally was no other brand made a 64 gig at the time)

You said it ceased to function, im not saying you're wrong or anything I'm just curious why and exactly what happened. I've had sd cards fail to read periodically but it was due to driver issues, moving from computer, etc. I've never had one that stayed in the phone all of the sudden fail.
Again not calling you out, I'm just wondering what happened.

Well, I can tell you exactly what I did with my last one, the second in a row not to work. I put it in the phone, it read fine. I plugged the phone into my windows xp pro laptop and copied a picture onto it. I unplugged the phone and accessed the picture. I deleted the picture and rebooted the phone. The picture was back. I then tried deleting the picture in every way I knew how; from the phone and the laptop. It was always back after reboot. I tried to format the card and formatting failed whether from the phone or laptop with formatting patch. Then the card read as damaged from the phone, it would ask to format it, and formatting would fail. I sent it back and the store couldn't delete the file either. I have been using both a SanDisk and Samsung 32gb card for years and never experienced any problem. Also used several 2gb sandisk cards in the past with no problems. Never tried a different brand of 64gb card, but maybe I'll try that.

I got mine through best buy for 50 bucks and they exchanged it every time no question asked. The 50 was a special though and I dunno what they sell for now. That was back when they were 150.
Ordered online and exchanged over the phone every time. I actually had 5 cards at one time it happened so fast that they just had me ship the four defective ones back together.
Then they screwed up and refunded my money and I called to let them know since I am not that kind of person and if there were to be an issue again I wouldn't have problems and they just told me they didn't really have a way to fix that and I should be happy. Let me tell you I was!
