I bought one before from Hong Kong, it worked very well (exceeded my expectations, especially for the price)...but I'll never use an extended battery on the 3D just because the texture on the back of the phone makes this phone so unique!
you are probably looking at roughly 2500mah actual
bought one, only 3 left
if this is from a "real" manufacturer, why do they only have 5 for sale?
Sumthin fishy here..
2 of the most faked/counterfeit items on ebay are batteries for phones and memory cards.
You couldn't PAY me to put a $15 battery in MY phone.
I ran one and my niece for a year with the EVO... Worked great...

would love to know before i fork down $75 for siedio's battery this week
Great! Now I need to decide if this is the battery door I should make a mold for a TPU case around or not. I'm sure seidio and sprint/htc will release their own door as well.

Seidios batteries are traditionally way over-rated as well. My favorite product of theirs is the slim "extended" batteries that are actually less mAh and then the OEM battery I'm guessing this battery will come in at 2500-2800mAh, Seidios will probably be between 2800-3000. You can send the battery to batteryboss.org and they will test it, but I doubt you'll want to drop $75 on a battery and then send it to someone. I actually
have one of these standard size orange white and red batteries and so far it seems good. Maybe 90% of what the OEM battery is. I especially like that is has an Android on it!

$15 battery? Even the OEM batteries can be obtained for less then that. I just bought a Samsung battery for an i500 for $10. Evo 4G batteries are about $10 too. These batteries arent fakes, they arent advertised as being OEM. It's just a chinese brand, and from my testing so far they are well packaged and well performing.
Please make the tpu case for the Seidio extended battery, I love this smoke one I have for the standard battery. And I'm getting the Seidio 4000 this week
I'm getting the seidio "boss" battery, and would definitely buy a tpu case for it. These tpu cases are a gem, so well worth the purchase.

I had 9 original EVO batteries from ebay and they worked PERFECTLY.
Guaranteed they make them in the same factories, just some of them get one sticker, others get another sticker. Maybe they're in different towns, but I'm sure it's the same process and they work great for me. Not like the $60 batteries are made in america - they're made in China as well
These under 20 dollar battery's work.
But for how long
They can last a year but don't be surprised if it stops holding charge/discharges fast/takes long time to charge within a couple of months use
Its like a EverReady battery or those cheap batterys they have at the dollar store
They work but soon you have to replace

****AFTER SOME USAGE I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS CASE DUE TO SUB-PAR PERFORMANCE******
I received my Droidax case today and first impression is the case is made very well. It has a 1650mAh battery built in so you are doubling your battery life and protecting your phone the same time. I made a quick YouTube video of the case and have attached a few pictures below. The case makes the phone maybe 3/8 inch longer but when you compare it to the outer box commuter case its only 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch thicker. I tried to show this in the pictures below. Hopefully you can see it. I will report back on the battery life after some use. I'm really liking the looks of the case. I think it looks much nicer than the Samsung version that's out there and its like half the price.

Might Get one.

I am really digging on this! I like the 2 piece case design which makes it easier to remove the phone. Couple of questions:
1. It looks like the top and bottom mics are covered? I didnt see any holes.
2. Do you know if the phone can still be synced via USB with the cover on?
I had something like this for my iPhone. The major issue, as opposed to switching out to a larger battery, is that a lot of the charge "disapates" in the transfer process from the pack's microUSB to the phonel. Under optimal conditions, you're probably getting 60-75% of the pack's capacity.

Yup, I had the Mophie Juicepack Air for my iphone 3gs and I would get approximately 75% more charge. Though not optimal, is is still way better than not having the extra power.

Yes the instructions say the case will actually use 25% of the batteries power to charge the phone so in essence you are getting 75% of a 1650 mAh battery or if you let the phone run down to 25% you can then turn the case on and charge the phone back to a 100% in theory. Unlike the Mophie Juice Pack this case will actually stop charging the phone once it hits 100%. The case at this point shuts off. Not as much waste. The Mophie would continuously charge the iPhone until it would run dead.
The big push around here has been the 2000mAh battery with cover and then a case to protect it all. That's a lot of $$$$. This case is only $50 with free shipping. $12 to the US for over night FedEx and your getting the case to protect and an additional 1650mAh in battery power.

Hey, just got this case. So far I do like the feel. I had a casemate which provided a lot of protection and the kick-stand (which I did not actually use much). The casemate was pretty large/heavy so moving to the Droidax is not much different other than now I have a lot more battery time!
Will have to see how it goes over time but so far so good. The one thing for people to consider is that this case does not provide any protection for the front of the phone (unlike the casemate)! If you drop your phone face down (especially if it slides) there will be damage to the screen I would think. Other than that not a bad case.

Glad you like it. As far as the screen, after watching some drop tests the s2 definitely outperforms the iPhone 4s. I would agree with you though. I do like it when the case wraps around the front a bit.

They have a sale this weekend, buy 3 items get 20 percent off, buy 5 items get 30 percent off.
I was planning on getting the screen protectors directly from them also, and maybe an extra STANDARD size battery.

I coughed up the $20 for this case in black. I bought the phone just before traveling on business and did not want it naked. (I actually had just decided not to purchase another phone for a while as I had my Incredible rooted and on a stable ROM with a great kernel, etc. etc., but the LCD cracked. I suspect it was a Verizon OTA screen cracking exploit nobody knows about....)
I like how the case wraps around the Rezound. I also suprisingly like the gloss. We'll see how it holds up. I typically keep a case for a few months then decide I want something "else." Once a phone is rooted, I need to be able to pull the battery frequently while tinkering around with it, so a silicon case is a nice option, as opposed to a hard two-piece case that I'm constantly pulling apart. It feels like a "better" case than the cheaper silicon ones I can get at the stand at the mall right outside the Verizon store.
Picked up the red gloss case and so far so good I like that it doesn't add any bulk.

this thing is huge!
No offense but, that thing is hideous. It takes less than 30 seconds to swap out a battery. For $80 you could buy the OEM charging station (includes OEM battery) + 2 spare OEM batteries. You would in effect have 10,000mah of battery power at your disposal.

They designed it that way to keep NFC intact. Look at the backdoor of your Note and will see two contact points on the NFC antenna that need to make contact with two contact points next to the microsd card slot. NFC compatible extended batteries on eBay have the same design. Also might explain why Mugen is taking so long with their variant because they could not find a work around.
However, that battery might fit with one of the non NFC compatible back covers on eBay. So you could sacrifice NFC for a better look with the extended battery.

I have one of these extended batteries on my Note. I also had one on my Blackberry before I switched to the Note. I require a long runtime with my phones, and I am not going to carry multiple batteries around with me to do so. Tried that with the BB, and hated it, and went the extended battery route.
So...I agree with the previous post about the battery door being stupid looking.
When I bought the extended battery (from ebay), I received a door for an international version of the note. I knew that was what I was getting since the extended battery door for the LTE version was not out yet, but I wanted to see if I could make it fit somehow. I also was aware that NFC would not work with the new door, and didn't care, since I haven't found a need for it yet.
I got the battery and international door in. battery fit fine, but door did not. I tried trimming the tabs a little and was able to make it fit, but not *lock* in place like the door should. The company I bought the extended battery from said they would send me the LTE door when they got them in, (that is another reason I was willing to try all of this).
I got the LTE door in. Yes, it is ugly. I like the style of the international door MUCH better. I am using the LTE door for now. Battery life on this "cheap" 5000 battery has been awesome. Previously, I was getting only about 6 hours per charge. Now, I am getting 10-12, which gets me through my day. No...it probably isn't a true 5000 battery, but for $12, and a company willing to work with me on the door, I was happy to try it out, and I am happy.
As for protection for the phone with an exteneded battery door, I have this coming in:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/120841214598?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
I am hoping that this will give some slight bumper protection but allow the battery bump to stick out. It only surrounds the very edge of the phone, not over the speaker like some of them do, which won't work.
Ok...to make this post even longer....
Anyone know of an extended battery door that looks like this one:

Is it a NFC thing? Why do almost all of the i717 extended batteries feature the battery hump as opposed to the full thickness covers? Mugen seems to be the only one making them look good, and taking advantage of that space to throw in a kickstand while at it. I bought one on Ebay yesterday for the sole reason it had the full thickness cover, and today the seller updated his add to say "cover shape may vary" so I'm guessing when it shows it will have the hump also. Most of the International covers are full thickness though....why?
And can you recommend a Mugen knock-off in the $10-20 range?? Thanks.
only thing i can think of as to the hump is that maybe they don't want to have to deal with camera obstructions or something like that, im not saying that's it but could be one reason.

only thing i can think of as to the hump is that maybe they don't want to have to deal with camera obstructions or something like that, im not saying that's it but could be one reason.

When I heard back from the Ebay seller they said it does indeed have the fugly hump, and blamed it on the antenna? Not sure how Mugen is pulling the good looking style off then.
The antenna does need to contact the connection points but there's no reason not to use pegs to hold the antenna in place while having the full-size cover. I suspect Mugen does that or puts the antenna on the back of the kickstand. It costs more to make a full-size cover due to the solid plastic and larger design.

No way does it cost $80 more to implement that...oh and throwing in a cheap kickstand.
Having used phones with both the "bump" (cheap 5200 one) and the progressive "hump" (mugen), the cheap bump actually works ergonomically better for me. It allows me to have a more firm grip on the device.
For the first time, I switched back to the OEM battery and case....and man, I miss the thinness. Here's to hoping Sammy pulls the biggest surprise for the note 2, a RAZR MAXX inspired battery!
