Since about 2-3 weeks I am not receiving many of my facebook feeds in most widgets / apps u have tried except for the the official client. They are appear on my facebook homepage and in the official facebook client but no longer in any of the app i have tried (pure messenger, htc friendstream, color widget, launcher pro etc.)
I checked my settings and permissions in facebook, deleted and readded the apps in facebook and and my phone, and made sure I am receiving feeds from all friends, family not just the ones I interact most with but nothing seems to work.
No one has any ideas?

The only way I have found is to sync everything, then use ContactAnalyser2 from the market to merge them.
However you must also be aware that having data syncing from a lot of different places will slow your phone down massively and even cause the overheating problem mentioned in other threads.
I haven't found an MSN client to date that will sync. There is a Messenger Beta all doing the rounds but I don't know if that syncs either as it's in Chinese!

I do have the same issue with confusion and the different names, I'd like to suggest to Add Field as Nickname and put the name that matches the Social Network's one ... I think it might work.
Any other ideas to sort this out please elaborate.
I've done a weird route to organize my social phonebook, after some frustration with Yahoo contacts integration (you can't delete a yahoo contact through the phone for instance!). I went to my Yahoo page on PC and noticed they also sync the contacts with facebook or gmail, and it's a bit easier to organize and merge accounts through there, then i got back to my phone and updated contacts from yahoo and it's all looking nice.
The Vibrant has built in Facebook/Twitter integration that works fine. However, when I install and use the official Twitter app and sign it, Twitter adds an extra "Twitter" account on top of the other one.
The result is contacts with two linked Twitter profiles.
If I remove the Vibrant's integrated Twitter, I lose the nice T icon next to my contacts.
If I remove the app...well, I won't have a Twitter widget.
The facebook one works fine, anyone else have this problem?
I'm having problems with the auto updating and syncing of apps and widgets. I've got the Accuweather widget set to auto-update every 3 hours, but I often wake the phone up and it's not updated for several hours. Same with the stocks widget.
If i open the Social Hub, my Facebook and Twitter feeds need to be manually updated even though I've got the SNS Syncs settings on 'Every 3 Hours'. Emails and messages arrive no problem.
Not a huge problem, but annoying. Anyone else having issues?

I am trying to add my Facebook account to my Atrix. I click on the icon under Settings - > Accounts but nothing happens. I can only add Facebook through Motoblur. Anyway to fix this? The Facebook app from the market works fine and stuff but I don't get any of my contacts sync'd unless I add Facebook to my accounts list.
I too was experiencing this problem, it seems it's been disabled by disabled by motoblur (contacts won't show information from the facebook app such as statuses anyway as it is not the stock contacts app). I found a way around it and was using it temporarily to sync display pictures but since then facebook has been forced by google to remove the sync feature entirely, that function -should- be dead on all android devices at the moment.

I decided to give social hub a try but I didn't like it because it was notifying me as well as gmail and yahoo (so two notifications for the same thing). Now I've got rid of the accounts on social hub these seemed to have stopped the notifications coming from yahoo and gmail so now I have no notifications at all! Yahoo and Gmail still seem to work if I manually refresh within the apps but not while I'm out and about.
Any ideas?

Sounds like you have syncing turned off, go into accounts in settings and see if they are turned on or off for syncing or try within the email apps for similar settings.
