I am having a problem on comrom 2.0 that I really need help with. Whenever I try to record a 720p video , it stops the video after oh I dont know, 10 seconds and ssays that video recording has failed. I have tried many different camera.apk's but they all do the same. Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance
First, try switching your scheduler in voltage control. If that works, and audio is messed up, change your video record settings in voodoo control

Hi,
I've recently noticed that sometimes when recording movies, the sound in the videos is distorted and are not sync well. This happens especially when switching from good lighting condition to lower light. Is it a process running in the background that is making the recording laggy?
Thanks.
Yes i notice that to after recorded a video i watch what i record and yes the sound is distorted but only sometimes, don't know why, what firmware do you have?
Any news??

Hi, does anybody know of a camera app that allows you to select and record a video without any sound? Thanks
Camera zoom FX on the market..pretty sure that allows mute on video
No Camera ZOOM FX doesn't have it's own video record settings, it uses the default recorder already on the phone buts thanks anyway.
Autoguard, it is car recorder, but allows record video without sound

Thanks! That worked exactly how I needed, cheers
This is my second question-post today, I apologize, but this is the final issue I've been trying to figure out.
I thought it could possibly be related to this post about BT audio lag (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2606441) but I just disconnected my jambox when this came up and the audio delay continued on the internal speaker.
I use MX Player Pro for videos, and when I resume a video (doesn't happen every time), the video lags behindthe audio anywhere from a few milliseconds to over 3 seconds. It isn't enough to pause and then resume, I have to exit to the home screen and kill the MX Player background process. Then I can reopen the app and play the video. Sometimes it takes more than one try to get it synced again. It's as if the CPU is struggling to keep up.
Has anyone experienced this?
Any audio over bluetooth will have a delay.
It's possible that if you disconnect BT mid play it will still play the audio at the same point it left off so continue the delay.
I'm betting if you play the movie without BT it's fine?
If not, try enabling/disabling hardware acceleration.
What format and quality is the file you're trying to playback?

I never really watch videos without my Jambox speaker, so I have tested it by disconnecting the bluetooth when the delay occurs, and it continues to occur once the sound routes through internal speaker. I haven't tested it by only playing through internal speaker, so I will focus on trying to recreate the problem that way.
The DTS codec from the XDA thread is the updated one which is fully functional with updated MX Player 1.7.26.
I have MX Player set up for HW+ for Video and SW for Audio. I tried HW+ for both and SW for both and it didn't change anything.
The files vary from .mkv to .mp4, etc, depending on the torrent I download. It doesn't seem to favor one file type over the other. Quality wise has been 720p, 1080p, and less, doesn't matter there either.
Like I said before, it seems like the audio is being processed great but the CPU is struggling with keeping the video up. I could reformat my phone again and do a clean install, although I fully wiped the device before installing rooted .136 this time.

Nope, still happening. I just opened a video for first time today, without bluetooth connection, and there was about a half second delay. It sure is annoying.

Then it's either mx player not handling the format very well or its the file itself. Try bs player see if same happens.

Hi all,
I've been looking for this on many sites but i didn't find a solution so i hope someone here could help me because i'm reeally desperate.
I'm having a very choppy video playback on certain streamed videos. I dont think posting those sites is allowed here so ill just call them X an Y
Anyways, after googling there seem to be quite a lot of people having this issue.
Video buffers, sound plays ok but the image itself seems to be like 1fps and skip a few seconds..
Site X never works, some others always work..
Youtube works fine (maybe cuz its html5?) playstore movies are fine too.
No this is not a buffering issue because of my wifi, and no using 3g instead of wifi doesnt change anything. I've tried using different browsers and it didn't change a thing. Is it a decoding issue of certain fileformats?
Btw: running rootbox 4.2 and dorimanx kernel

bump
I have a VZW LG-V10 and love it.
Yesterday I tried to use the slow motion video, and it doesn't work. I select "mode" then select "slo-mo" and it says hit the button to record in slow mo. I record the video. After I record I use the gallery app, (stock) and it plays back normal speed with sound. Others that I saw having this problem say use the "stock gallery" but that doesn't do any thing for me.
I tried recording to sd and to internal just to check. Thanks for any help you give.
Also I have the newest update recently released.
Clear you gallery default apps. Sounds like it's playing in a non stock video player.
