[solved] How can I cook a cwm compatible rom? - Android

Hi to all chefs, a newbie here ^^
Today, I've tried cooking my own rom with dsxda kitchen and went all right, (btw thanks for you perfect guide!) but when I went to flash my custom ROM, my cwm recovery give me the "Amend script-update" error...
So I tried to convert update-script to updater-script from the kitchen but CWM gives me the same error...
Could somebody help me?

OK I fixed it by miself... I just needed to choose the express-building option from the kitchen... Thanks the same

Click to collapse
Look in the ROM's thread there are Links to stock ROM's try one of those, I have not cooked for along time , quit during WM5, but you should be able to find one there ...
Hope that helps ....

[Q] Need help translating a JB Rom.

Hi folks,
first of all i am a newbie to rom cooking.
I'm trying to add german language to a jb rom for my AmoiN820 (MTK6577Chip).
I got an Update.zip ROM. I decompiled all apks in /system/app and the framework-res.apk and mediatek-res.apk and added values for "de". After that i recompiled the apks copied them back to the zip and wanted to flash this zip.
Flashing the zip with cwm works good, but rebooting stucks at bootscreen. DO i have to do more things?
Greetings HolyBabel

[Q] Problem in generating update script???

Hey Guys I don't know . its right to post a new thread here or not?
Guyz I am facing A issue with creating flashable rom update.zip package with dxda kitchen by my clockworkmod backup! whenever I tried flashing my cooked rom in cwm 6.0.x It always says update failed. I searched on google and come to know that it a update script or binary prob. Then I searched on xda nd come to know that there is no programe who create update binary. But then the question arise " Is all the binaries Same for all devices??" or having any defference?
And second question is for update script ...
How to get mount point on device? (I know its different for all)
I should also say these all question stuck my mind when i was trying to create a flashable rom.zip via cwm backup with dxda for my tablet ubislate 7c !
Can Any One here answer my qus or give me the refrence where i find answers!
Thanks in advance !!!!
