Sorry buddy there is no sure fire way to do that....
Most times when someone tries to reinstall apps by way of Titanium Backup of MyBackup Pro, over a new ROM they run into force closes.
If you want a trouble free install your best bet is to install your apps one by one manually.
Now that being said, IF you must try to do this, I would personally recommend staying away from Titanium Backup and using MyBackup Pro. Try not to backup the app, install it manually but save the app data and settings.
Thank you thats it what i want to know

hello
i want to create my own rom for the xperia x10
what programs do i need for that?
and can i modify an existing rom? want to understand how making roms works first, so my question is if i download a custom rom, can i modify it for my personal purposes? for exampe by removing some apps...
thanks for ur help
Taking out apps is easy.. use titanium backup. Ifyou want to mix them use a kitchen. If you want to build one use linux and download google source and edit.

Hi
I was wondering if theres a way to switch between cyangen and a stock rom, i want to try out cyangen but it doesnt seem to have enough of the features i regularly use but at the same time i would like to use it for roms only so i can use my ps3 controller with it.
- Going to another ROM from CM7?
You can go back and forth freely between CM7 and other ROMs via ROM Manager or ClockworkMod recovery as the file systems are the same and nandroid backup/restore works to go between ROMs.
That's what it says in the first post of cyanogenmod rom

I know you can do a nandroid backup but i was thinking more along the lines of running it off the sd card or somehow partitioning the system partition so you have 2 of them there. If i did the nandroid way, i would have to keep a large portion reserved for the backup and i would have to do it every time i wanted to play a game which would ruin the life of the flash memory and it would be a pain generally. I saw on All About Android there was an app called boot manager but i dont know if that will work on the SGS II

There is some experimentation with that at the moment, apparently it kinda works, i know there is a thread about it.
Search for boot manager sgs2 or sgs2 dual boot and it should be there.

Think the thread is in themes and apps section, just to narrow it down. Look for multiboot as search term.

Troubleshooting Android Market Problems
Pay attention to the fingerprint stuff. If you are using a non-stock DPI that can have an effect also.
I didn't understand. Is ther any alternative way without changing the rom, like finding the apk files of the apps from the market in order to direct download and install manualy

SS1.2 Froyo is cool, especially if you factory rest (old school)
Market cache can be cleared fr/ settings/applications/manage/all/market
your gmail account is tied into that, so delete and re AD under settings/accounts and sync.
I've just got a Samsung Galaxy S II and am very excited! It's got Navigon pre-installed. I'm coming from a Samsung Nexus S which I installed various custom ROMs on and would like to install custom ROMs on my new Galaxy S II. Is it possible to install a custom ROM and somehow not lose the pre-installed apps like Navigon?
Back the apk's up with titanium backup / root explorer, good luck.

Titanium will backup system apps as well as ones you've installed yourself. You don't have to worry about it.

Some rom will be no-wiped option. So, you can flash the rom and everything will be there.
But for me, clean install might be better.
Good luck on choosing rom
Can someone say to me how can i replace an app with update.zip??
I want to replace the music app that is on the phone with another kind of music app... how can i do it?
in this case, you need to forget about update.zip
1. root your phone
2. get a file explorer. like root explorer or astro
3.a. find the .apk file that relates to the app you want to uninstall OR
3.b. use titanium backup to freeze or remove the app
4. install the new one
Which app are you trying to uninstall? and are you sure it's safe to uninstall it?
hope this helps
Sorry, but i know that is possible to do.
In fact, during the first installation of CM7 for the Galaxy GIO, there were a lot of apps, and then the developers released an update (update.zip). When i flashed this zip, the old apps has unistalled and there were new different apps. So?
while updating if u wipe data(factory reset) then all your previous apps will be gone. mostly in updates u need to wipe just cache and dalvik. so the apps will stay. you can use titanium backup to backup your apps + app data and restore them after updating

I'm still confused as to whether u have root and what phone your using ??
(I'm assuming your using the GIO?)
If u have already done what u wanted to do, how did u do it?

I used a guide that i improved in this link http://pirateparty.altervista.org/forum/19-guides/42-guide-create-your-android-update-zip.html ... Post there a comment if you want to know something else or simply if you want to add something ... I'll answer to you quickly!
Good guidep and a very interesting concept, can u post your _user.txt file?

Sorry I dont understand! Register and post there, cause your comments can help someone else. So http://pirateparty.altervista.org/register.html , and then comment the topic http://pirateparty.altervista.org/forum/19-guides/42-guide-create-your-android-update-zip.html ! If you'll post there i'll receive a notification and i'll help you! TNX bye!
I think we should be posted about this on XDA forums, not your own website, as to help with other XDA members since it would be available to a much bigger userbase on XDA.
