I have tried to reboot to recovery via Rom Manager now my ace doesn't start anymore, the sceen is black, even when usb is pluged in
can anyone help me?
Just start to download mode an try flash firmware... follow flash tutorial...
to flash another rom, the phone must start
it doesn't matter whitch buttons are pressed, nothing happend
So read how to unbrick galaxy ace...

try to remove th battery and thec klick ok+vol down +power and when you doing that connect the battry again

Well you mest up with rom manager without any knowledge about it. AFAIK Your phone is now fully brick. You need to replace your motherboard(GOOD LUCK WITH WARRANTY )

If Flashing and Unbrick not working, what ever you do or how you try, then you probably messed up your boot ROM and it´s BRICKED. SORRY FOR YOU, but always, I MEAN ALWAYS read and search the forum 10 TIMES, before you start up messing your phone. It can very yeasely BRICKED.
I hope you can change it from service for free. Say that you trying restore to FACTORY setting(just make up some story[believable], why you was need to restore to FACTORY settings). Maybe they belive you and change your BRICKED phone to new one. Thumbs up for you and dont do anything stupid next time!!!

When I tried to use ROM Manager it told me to install the correct drivers, but Galaxy Ace isn't supported, so I just resigned. Which drivers did you use?
P1tt187 My friend had the same thing, he used a ROM Manager to back up the ROM in the ACE. Identical symptoms. Only the Samsung service will help. Tell him that you turned off phone and not turn on (Phone) . Samsung Service exchanged him motherboard in ACE (on guarantee).
Galaxy Ace not supported yet by ROM manager! Sorry for you but search the forum(or just GOOGLE it) before trying something first. There is always GOOGLE to helping(if you not found it here). Just USE it!
I have rooted and customized all my phones(HTC, SAMSUNG), JAILBREAKED AND UNLOCKED all my IPhones(3G and 4G), just waste some time, for GOOGLE! But you must be patient. Everything is not coming in first search(but everything is there, TAKE THE TIME and be sure for right thing).

I just have the same problem, but I didn't touch to the ROM or anything else
I just rooted my phone with SuperOneClick, turn it off and it never turn on again...
Since my phone is rooted, I don't know if the warranty is lost, but I think so...
I already tried to remove the battery and then put it back while holding ok + volume down + power, but it didn't work, the screen stays completely black...
I'll let my phone rest a few days and then send it to Orange while I pray --'
Any other idea guys ?

I'v tried to unbrick my phone, but it stucks on Odin at <1> setup connection..
I've let it run for 1 hour, but nothing changes
On the thread you gave me someone say that there is no solution for that...
What I don't understand is that I neither Flashed or tried to change the Rom of my phone, I only rooted it with SOC...
Anyway thanks for the help, I'll send it to Orange in a few days...

Of course I dont know what you exactly done or not but if its stuck in black screen and cant flash with ODIN, then I think its TOTALLY bricked. Sorry for you, hope you get it changed to new one! THUMBS UP FOR YOU!
Guys
My phone was modded -cyanogenmod rc1-. I used it for months and there was no problem until one day.Once I opened my phone it was just blank screen.Also there is no light on keys.Also I can't get into hboot or clockwork mode screen.I am not really good at these technical problems.But somehow I modded it What can be the problem if it is not a device problem? How can I fix it?
I have already searched for similar problems but I couldnt understand the detailed explanations.

it was good to try something new but it didnt work.still just the backlight, nothing on the screen.
Then probably it's something wrong with the data itself, you probably installed some bad app that bootlooped your phone, your only option is to give some logcat to us or to reinstall the rom and start all over again, maby its time for an update, flash elelinux 2.3.7

Oops sorry but this post was ment to the guy that has a bootloop on elelinux 2.2, if you cant get into HBoot then either you hard bricked your phone or there is something wrong with your screen...
what can be the possible solution for hard bricked phone then : )
I dont think it's a hard brick since you would atleast get to HERO sign (i think) but if it is a hard brick then your only option is JTag..

no no i cant get anything.only black screen.i cant see anything and i cant access to recovery mods or hboot screen.
How do you know you are not getting into HBoot if your screen is lets say malfunctioning ? I think there is a better possibility for a screen failture then a hard brick, it's not easy to hard brick a phone, and it's inpossible if you were just using your phone on CM7, only way to brick it is a failed HBoot/Radio update... I'd get a new screen there, or it could be the motherboard that failed.

He have i9100 2.3.3 . I flash it correctly because i do this many times on my i9000

@ OP tell us what have you tried to flash?
Edit: So you followed an I9000 thread and you flashed another device's ROM onto your bf's device.
You also pulled the battery while it was flashing.
Can you at least get to download mode?
Second Edit: no, you can't, get a usb jig and get ready to have it jtagged.

Btw my home made usb Jig dont work maybe i make it wrong but i looked all steps how to make it and im pretty sure i do it right

I dunno the specifics of the jig, I assume you followed the thread.
Try this:
One of you must hold the battery (it's almost a 2 man job) while the other presses the download combo (Vol Down + home + power ).
While pressing those buttons the person holding the battery must insert it (at the same time the combo is being hit).
See if it boot into download mode.
If not, start thinking jtag.
Warranty, not an option I presume.

Ok my USB Jig work on my mothers phone , but not on S2 this is now big problem :S I think phone is ruined :S

Maybe I don't understand? If you hold the power button yes your phone will turn off, if you just press it briefly and it turns off then yes that's an issue.

No, if you hold the power button your phone will ask you if you want to Reboot, Turn off, Silent mode, Airplane mode.. etc
mine just turn off immediately.

Hello there,
I am having a problem with my Xperia X10a.
Was using ferraKernal v25 with ferrarom. Everything was working fine until yesterday.
PROBLEM: When i try to power my phone on, it vibrates for a short time with a single blink of green but the phone wont turn on.
SOLUTION TRIED:
1. Battery ok.
2. Flashtool 0.2.9 gb ready (flashing aborted)
3. Flashtool 0.9.18 (gets stuck at Processing of loader_unlocked.sin finished.)
4. pc companion (This device has no updates)

Is there anyway to solve this problem. ?

Have you tried, or are you able to get into recovery? If so , maybe you can do a backup ( if there's anything to backup ) and then reflash the rom. Or if you already have a backup, do a restore.

i am unable to turn the phone on completely, how can i get into recovery then..Its a green led vibration and full black screen..
tried flashing stock and custom rom also..ended in those two results with flashtool, mentioned above
Anything else ???

To get into recovery you need to press the power button , then continually press the back button, ( don't hold it but keep pressing on off on off for about 30 seconds ). Only with the phone and battery, no USB cable! If you don't have any success with recovery you may need to flash a stock firmware.
Did you root the phone or purchase it already rooted? Do you know what firmware was on the phone before it was rooted?

Well..as i opened the thread with some statements above mate..
I was already using a Feravolt rom and kernel..And i rooted it and then flashed.
And obviously i know what/how to get into recovery.
But the thing is its not working without any good reason...
Situation like this happened to me before..
i was able to sues it then with stock..
But nothing seems to work now.
I guess i am not worth the seniors attention in here.
I shouldnt have opened the thread at the first place

Can you do a small test for me? I would like you to put the entire phone into a freezer ( not fridge ) for ten minutes, then take it out and see if it will power up. Will not harm the phone, I do it with an HD2.

I recall someone(senior member) from xda once posted somewhere that, one thing putting the phone into freezer can do is just damage your phone
