I've been looking everywhere for just a standalone stock froyo launcher similar to the stock one on my optimus s except the stock one on my optimus has a stupid sprint I.D. icon as opposed to a phone icon. also similar to Modaco's stock GB launcher. Just want the simplicity of a stock launcher so I don't hafta mess with settings.

EDIT; Also, I am new to the Optimus S and came from a HTC Hero. Which ROMs are okay fro me to flash? What section should I be looking in? P500 series or Optimus V Forums?

why don't you try launchers such as zeam...they are simple and not messy....(If you haven't tried them earlier)...
and isn't lg home the stock launcher....yup i found an apk in the market....try it...

Im using one I modified from a mesh of the Atriarc rom and one jelette posted in the thread. I love it. I for however wish I could remove some pages and my notification bar.

Whats that weather app on there?
Miui Beta, fantastic isn't it. Last night we had clear skies and the moon had a blue hue to it that blended with my home screen so well. I just kept checking my phone for no reason. I would like to get that clock in the upper corner to NOT have the date on it but I cannot find a widget with that font and just time.

This is awesome, since the Electrify doesn't get the stock Photon wallpapers. We get a couple nice ones, but I was wondering about the electric-looking one that is in all the pictures (upper left). US Cellular even uses it to advertise the Electrify, IIRC...

You can put them anywhere you want. I have a folder I created just for wallpapers. I currently have over 300.

Extract those apks, extract mdpi apks, copy, resize and replace launcher icons in drawable-mdpi/hdpi folder... Thats it, I think

I found this in the SGS2 (T989) Thread. Touch Wiz 5 Launcher, Weather & Clock. It wasn't created for our screen size so it doesn't fit quite right.
I wanted to re-share it in this forum to see if anyone can re-size it so it can fit the Amaze Screen.
I know there is already a working TouchWiz launcher but I think this one is a lot more complete because it has the weather and clock that works.
If anyone can help out with the resizing that would be great.

Thanks for sharing man.. where did you get these? They are cool, but a bit flashy, It would be cool if we get something simplistic yet different from the 4 available. Anyway always good to have choice! Installed all but one..
