1) No use of any other language than Englsh
Just wait, we are mid range devices, higher end one will be given the priority to upgrade [IMHO], but LG had promised us. So, it is just the problem of time.
The update is ready, but lg wait for the Optimus2x gingerbread update (IMHO). When that is ready, we will get our 2.3.
Can't believe folks are actually waiting for it TBH. Will be ****e most probably.

Why wait for official Gingerbread 2.3 when ROM developers will be porting 2.3.3 / 2.3.4 to O1? Although it will also take some time.
1) When you see a thread title with information or news, open it and read it through to make sure it is actually correct and factual.
2) Really getting tired of impatient babies whining about how long it takes till we get the update. Most phones, even high-end phones, don't have Gingerbread yet. Yet you people are acting like our $190 model should receive it right away... We're damn lucky to get it at all.
Why wait for it..CM7 & others which are better are here..

Its doubtful.. Right now at this time its only the business customer side of cingular that has changed their name to ATT. The residential customer side is still cingular and has not changed branding yet, they are still crying about the amount of money its going to take to re-brand..

Awesome news, but...Im wondering something. What benefits do you get with a 3.X AKU compared to our 2.X AKU right now?

More stability
WPA2 wifi support
new BT stacks
and a few more things. Comparing the jump from AKU2.3 to AKU3.5 from the Mio, applications and the PDA itself where MUCH faster. it was easily visable.
Theres other things too, but the speed, stability and also bug fixing makes it worthwile. for me though, WPA2 is a MASSIVE thing as every network i access now incorporates it, and i cant use wifi in these places now.

Friends, don´t get too exited. One website quotes the other, and so on...there is no official news on the content of any future ROM update. And HTC is not interested in providing AKU updates unless serious problems can be solved. Learn from HTC experience... Remember HTC has to pay license fees on a per-machine-basis...

just wait and see what comes out... i will bet you $500USD that it will be an aku update of at least 3.x... more than likely will be an AKU3.3?!? anyone want to take me up on this bet? i could use the extra money

I'm probably going to buy a Xperia Neo V next month (I have a X8 at the moment) but I have some doubts, if someone could answer them I'd thank.
I was wondering if you have a good forum and developers support?
If the phone has some major problem or something like that; what's the best rom you have now, just so I take a look; and that's it.

Here there are many people working to get more support and also ROMS, and more people working for ICS to be functional. The ROM is the most functional 2.3.4. But I'm with ICS, say, everything working.

i Will make it, but sorry ..i just send my tablet to nearest store to fix it as my tablet dies because of battery leakage ..t

:good::good::good: kitkat only requires 512mb of ram, if you would be a hero developed kitkat because nobody would have before I take a rom so, many people were waiting for a rom for your tablet like me, so you have my full support . :good::good::good:

Thanks for supporting me,really appreciated it ^…^.. But honestly,maybe i will not kitkat for this tab as i send my tablet to a mobile shop for repairing my battery and digitizer a weeks ago and still no news from the shop ..hopefull i will get the good news soon..(and not the bad news,as people rarely use this tab and maybe there is plenty accessories,batteries,digitizer for this tab) and it hard to find..wish me luck

Battery repair for Mi700

Thanks for initiating to get new ROM for Mi700.
I face the same battery issue with my Mi700, & have hopeless encouter with CSL support.
When found out that Mi700 has the same spec with ViewPad 7, I went to Viewsonic for help when I visit singapore few months back, guess what, they help me replace the battery for SG$30, so I guess you can try out Viewsonic support at your area & see if you've better luck.
If you visit singapore & like to visit their support center, their contact is 02-66039870 [email protected], they take half a day to fix my battery.
I also have them to refresh my mi700 to viewpad 7 2.2.2 firmware, running without issue , the only thing is they do not want to share with me how to backup their ROM, I'm trying to backup this stable ROM before I try out any custom ROM, so any suggestion are welcom.

Even the N update was predicted for end of this month as written on FB. Don't see that taking place. It could but i think moreover it's getting mid februar or something in that range
