Hey guys
Whenever i use Achtojan's or WolfBreak's Arc roms when i connect facebook and sync contacts they dont show up and when i sync google contacts, my contacts on fb/gmail their pictures dont show up??
So what do I have to do to get this working??

I can't get any facebook synced stuff even flashing that zip.
Can someone provide me with clear instructions?
Maybe try asking My_Immortal with a private message, who knows that she knows what there is wrong.

I wish I did, but I don't.
Actually the Facebook Data zip, all it does is un-restrict the Facebook contact data, making the pictures appear in all apps. It won't help with the syncing, unfortunately.
I've flashed the older Facebook and contact fix used on previous wolfbreak rom, and pictures showed up on tw007.
I'm not on my computer now, can't find an option to upload files on the free xda app, but i'll do it as soon as i can.

had the same problem, just download a facebook sync app from droid, is much easier that way.

Hi, i have one biiig problem... I cant update/sync my contacts with TimeScape or SyncMyPix... it only sync contacts without contact picture, but contacts which have a picture NOT... can somebody help me please?
SyncMyPix says that "download failed" for every contact with the contact picture...
disable the smart match feature on syncmypix and do it manually
I did it and can sync them and view the pics on timescape/contacts

my facebook/timescape wont pull pictures either. I think facebook changed some software. has anyone changed to https on facebook? I think that may be the issue

Mines doing the same thing, I had enabled the HTTPS setting, I've taken it off but it's still not showing pictures in Timescape
not quite sure but what fw are you using?
cause I'm really not getting any prob with timescape/syncmypix
seriously it's just weird
ok so i just stopped using https and deleted facebook out of timescape then re added it and boom....pictures come back

sorted, thanks for that, i did try removing the filter even restarting but i didn't remove the account and add it back in.

Hello everybody,
I have a problem with the Facebook synchronisation of the facebook inside xperia feature. When I connect my contacts on the phone with my facebook contacts, their corresponding user pictures aren't downloaded.. The profile information of facebook is integrated into the phonebook but no user pictures appear. I tried deleting data of the phonebook and also every facebook related app but nothing happens.. Any ideas?

Buddy I've had exactly the same problem as you and it's an absolute bummer but thankfully a guy over in the thread I posted has been an absolute legend and pointed me in the direction of the app called Facebook contact-sync and it works like a dream!

try to synchronize all contacs in facebook. Not only from phonebook

Thank your for your great advice... Works like a charm!
Few days ago I uninstall facebook & it's related all apk like Post viewer, Facebook extension etc.
Today I restore all Facebook relateda apk, it restore successfully. but when I try to login my facebook account it'd show me error every time.

Are you using stock rom?
Did you try to uninstall facebook app and install from playstore again? Should work. Otherwise uninstall all facebook related apps again and only install the one from playstore. If this works restore one after one and see if there's the error again, if yes which app/apk causes the error

And if you just use the app from playstore without restoring anything, is it working?
Try not to restore app and data, just restore app from the other facebook related apps...
I have two different gmail accounts. One of them (not my main one) syncs contacts fine by the main account doesn't sync them at all. I keep getting an error, and have had the error since I bought the phone. Anyone know whats up?
Also, I can add any team I want to google now except the Lakers. Everytime I add them, they show up in the list of teams, then I close the page, come back to it, and the team is gone. Anyone know why?

Couldn't say I've experienced this. As far as the Google account that won't sync, have you changed the password and forget to update it on ur phone?
As far as Google now, try clearing cache and date. Start from scratch and see if that helps. Sorry I don't have any solution that would just solve ur problems. Best thing till someone comes out with a sure solution is trouble shoot. Let us know what happens!

The problem isn't a changed password. Everything else syncs. Its just thecontacts. As for google now, thats a great idea. Let me ty that now! Thanks.

Also, do u use facebook and sync ur contacts? I've heard that can be causing issues. I recommend first removing facebook, the export ur contacts to external storage, going into it apps and clearing data under contact storage then importing all ur contacts. I highly recommend removing facebook before anything else. If its not facebook but u have other applications that sync contacts, uncheck contact sync and proceed with clearing contact storage, then import contacts and resync. Try that out and let us know

I'm afraid of doing this because I have contacts in my phone that are new that aren't synced yet. Will this get rid of them?
That's why u export ur contacts first
Go into ur contact list and tap menu. Then export, when it asks u where, send it to sd card/external memory. Unsync ur Google accounts from contacts so it doesn't effect it and then clear it. You'll have a back up on ur other Google account and have a vcf file in ur device storage

i just did that and its still not syncing the contacts. Similarly, its not syncing the internet.
