I believe that requires multitouch, and we have dualtouch. However, SE Brazil has just released a statement saying the official Gingerbread update will bring Multitouch, including allowing 3D in google maps.

Go to a city where 3D is available. NYC is a good choice. Then just zoom in a good deal and swype downwards on the map with 2 fingers, so you get it in the tilted view. Then the buildings start to pop up

Yeah, I tried it, but I am not impressed. All the buildings in New York City look one story tall.

Hi all, got 2.1 the other day on UK Tmobile. Where my apps used to be in alhabetical order, some of them are not.
For example, ebay app is placed after z4root app!
Any way to fix this? I'm using default home. Many thanks

Yes, that is normal I believe because the "e" in e-bay is small not capital. I too noticed that. So any app name that start with a small cap goes to the back of the list.

Guys Quickpic on the market is the best gallery app out there, i had it on my evo 4g and it was fast and flawless, one thing is that there is no support on 3d images yet, i happen to talk to the dev and he said he's working on it. other than that, i still give it a 5 star rating
here's the link

It might be the best gallery app for other phones but certainly not for the EVO 3D, until it can actually show the photos in 3D (and I can't get it to you if you know how, do tell), then it is not for this phone.
Hes working on getting 3d, and plus there is no other app with 3d support

I have a problem with opening up pics in MMS msgs with Quickpic. If I click on a pic in an MMS with the stock messaging app, select Quickpic to open the picture, I'll get a blank screen. If I select the Gallery app to open the pick, it opens just fine.
Anyone else with that problem?
I've used Quickpic, exclusively, with my Evo 4G with no issues, but not having the same luck with my 3D.
Sorry but. If it doesn't support 3D its not really the best gallery app for this phone. Plain and simple. As soon as it gets 3d support we'll talk.

The firefox alpha browser is not compatible with all of the current plugins available for the stable firefox browser that is already available on the market. Compatibility checking is based on the version number. After playing around with this browser while its still in alpha i find it to be quite stable and good for daily use.
Here's the OFFICIAL Mozilla file at Bugzilla for getting official support for ARMv6 devices.

Have a go and try if it works
EDIT: It takes a long time to download, and when you do you run out of space. So beware

testet it with DK Rom, it starts, show the startpage but cannot use it. When i open a adress it shows only the adressbar and a black screen. Can not load the Updatefuncion, because it is an Website and can not loaded. Same problem here with the Black Screen.
Yep, I am getting the black screen too, for some reason it can still take screenshots of the page to it on the start screen lol

Doesn't render pages. I believe it is all hardware accelerated. And our wildfire hasn't got any hardware. Might need software rendering to be implemented before its going to be usable.

No because HTC Watch will probably never have anything worth actually watching.
Besides Nooobroom is the way to go.
What is the code I'm supposed to enter? I can't find it.

Apparently if your rooted you cannot dl license to the movies. I have been able to use the credit (for rent only) and the movies dl completely, but when it is time to watch the license cannot be dl'd. If anyone knows a workaround or fix, that would be great.

I just found out about a barometer in some Android devices, but it doesn't look like HTC phones have a barometer. Anyone have any confirmation? Maybe the hardware is there but there are no drivers?
A barometer would typically be used to help with GPS, but is now being used to help short-term local weather forecasting with PressureNET. I'm in western WA, and anyone around here knows the local weather is difficult to predict. It would be cool to help contribute.
I am pretty sure it doesn't. What devices do have it?
Sent from my GT-P7510 using xda app-developers app
Really?
+1 for what devices have a built in barometer? That seems like a really niche feature for a smartphone.
The Motorola Xoom has one. Originally it was thought it could be used with Google Maps and it would know what floor of a building you were on or so I was told.
They are usually listed as a " pressure sensor" and they are supposed to help with GPS. If I remember correctly the s3 has one.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
Yeah, the Xoom and various Samsung devices have one. I was hoping that some HTC phones would possibly have the hardware but not the drivers (yet). Oh well, wishful thinking.
Galaxy nexus has one.

Having a problem getting a direct embedded picture. And the stupid browser is so old.... sorry.
Anyways, the screenshot is of temple run. Notice the "Pressure" entry -- misreported, or is it a barometer reading? Weirdness.
