DamianGTO supposedly has a fix. Just google his name and check out the info on his site. I'll ask my teammate Simone since he has ffc, i9000, and i dont. Some in my thread were reporting the same and i think may have fixed. I'll get back with you unless you figure it out. Also cmenard may have an answer.

I will have to take it apart again and focas it. I hope that's all it is. And when people refer to banding, is that all the distortion and lines when using the camera or shooting video?

You have to focus the front camera... and yea that's what they mean by banding... though I don't really have that issue

Just disable google contact sync and your pics are ok. It's not SE's problem, it's android's AFAIK
I simply disable them and they become back hd? Or i need to reassign them?

Try using: syncmypix
If that doesn't work, you can't fix it I think.
I fixed that by turning sync contact off i just wonder if it works in 2.2 roms also

I'm pretty sure there are many, if not a few, jB ROMS out there that support the front facing cam, but I can't seem to find one..any suggestions?

Well first off, did you modify your phone to have a front facing camera? If no, do you have the international version, not T-Mobile version? If you have the T-Mobile version and have a front facing camera already there and a silver back cover, head over to the galaxy s 4g forums. But if it is the 3g version, slimbean has a FCC under unsupported (they don't help with problems with the said mod) tab.

*UPDATE*
I have found a solution for the FFC..I'm currently running Slimbean 3.0 (android 4.1.2)..and after a lot of searching, I found a few apks to get the FFC recognized by the camera and Video calling apps such as ooVoo, Skype, Yahoo! messenger, and most likely many more..for anyone who has the FFC mod and need the apks (with directions), PM me and I'll send to email since I'm not allowed to post downloadable attachments..

Hello people on xda i got the eu bug on my vibrant the other day. And after spending a whole day on fixing it i actualy have a fix. If anyone want a guide posted tell me or if you want it done you can send me yoir vibrant and il fix it and send it back to you. Also works on captivate and facinate.

I'm curious to know what you mean by "fix". Do you mean that you've devised a method of recovering the internal SD card, which had previously been corrupted? Or does your fix involve a vold.fstab tweak, or motherboard swap?
If your fix indeed will restore my (and many others) corrupted SD card, please post a guide, or at least explain how you went about solving it.
Don't take this the wrong way, but asking for people to send in their phone's sets off some flags for me. Just sayin'. I think I can speak on behalf of most that a guide would be much more preferable and greatly appreciated.

Well its not actualy curropted. My fix consistes of deleteing all partitions of the device than remakeing unformated partitions and repartitioning with odin. Im away from my computer now il post a guide later
