I'm trying to make sense of the real difference between the EVO3D's 4GB of internal memory and the Photon/Within's supposed 16+ GB of internal memory.
Is this difference really something to be concerned/though about?
The way I see it, we have been running with 1 GB in most phones in recent history, and most of us just touch the limits of the memory with apps, etc. With the extra headroom of 4GB, I'm not sure there is too much concern for running out of app space (crosses fingers).
So, what is the rest of the memory for? Media? I understand that the internal memory might be faster, but SD cards have already been shown to be fast enough for most purposes (and I believe the Green Hornet comes on the SD card). IIRC, it was quite an anomaly to have the Nexus S store media and other files on the internal memory when it came out.
So, does the 4 GB concern, given the ability to get 32 GB on SD? Or is it a real advantage for the competitors?
It might have something to do with recording in 1080p or 3d . The internal would be faster to record to . Just my thought

Anytime you write/read to internal its always going to be faster than reading from a SD card. This also holds true with your desktop. Reading from your DDR2/3 Memory will always be faster than reading from your SSD/HDD. I think this is where the above poster actually gives some credibility about his claims.
I don't see the big deal. 4Gb is a decent amount of internal. How many people are going to actually need 16gb of internal space? I'm sure someone will reply and tell me they need it for this and this but I'm sure a large percent will do just fine with 4gb. People do just fine with 1gb.
If you download a lot of games then yes go with the SGS or photon.

My thoughts as well. Funny though, isn't Qualcomm (HTC's chip provider) the one thats going to do a gaming pack?

even with 4-8 times the storage on those phones, they are only using 2x as much for app installation, correct? 1GB v 2GB?
I would rather have a 4gb internal and my 16gb class10 sd card then to have 10gn internal w/ no way to use a sd card with it, but then again I keep my 8gb card that came with the evo set up fully as a back-up card, i have a nandroid back-up and main files i use on my sd card set up on my 8gb cardd so all i have to do it restore and go if anything happens and I have to get a new phone.

If you are looking for a phone to do gaming on you should chose Samsung Within due to terga2 over a phone with larger internal storage

It is not confirmed that the Within will have Tegra2, actually, it is highly likely it will have Exynos. The Photon is confirmed to have Tegra2. Also, the SGS2 is likely to have the highest amount of internal storage, with the Photon having the second largest.
I would have loved the 3D to have more internal storage but coming from the 4G it is still a considerable upgrade. Personally I never had an issue with the 1GB on the 4G so I don't consider the 3D's 4GB a liability.
The lower amount of storage on the 3D was probably a way to keep the final cost down given the other specs to make it affordable and I'm fine with that; $199 s a great price for what you get!

I agree we are getting a lot of phone for the money..I thought the same thing with the 4g..now we get a processor that more than twice as fast and four times the internal memory..I don't use a lot of games but my SD card has atleast 10 Roms and 4 full nandroid backups andive never run out of memory..mof I have at least 2 gb left..and that's with stock sd
I suspect there will be far less than 4g actually usable..
I got a low memory error one time so I went thru and unistalled a bunch of stuff I never used. No problem since. And I could probably delete even more stuff.
even 4GB's isn't a whole lot, I always end up with the issue of running out of space on my evo, I switch roms constantly, so Apps to sd doesn't really work for me, I'm hoping I can get away with tons of games installed on just 4gbs.
4GB's of internal on the 3D will be plenty for me. Only recently have I started to have issues with running out of space on the EVO. Ended up just moving a bunch of apps to SD card and all is fine again.

the built in a2sd sucks for this, but the a2sd (like DarkTremmors) that allot of the guys put into their roms works very well with this. I got a 4gd ext3 partition on my sd for this and i NEVER run out of space to install apps (in fact i dont even use 1gb up w/ close to 200 apps)
I'm not going to complain as it is a 16-fold increase of storage for me. Mmm... increased internal storage...
Add my 16 gig sd card and I think I'm golden.

more then enough. This is set aside for apps and OS I believe, and the photon will be the same. The internal space will be partitioned probably for apps and then most of it for storage.
4gb internal is more then enough.
I can see large storage making sense on devices like the nexus s 4g and iPhone because you have no option for an external form of storage but 16/32gb of storage on a device with a micro sd slot is a bit much. I'm not saying they shouldn't make phones with that much, the more the better but I just don't think you need that much. I think 4gb is enough to last us until we upgrade next year.
For the people who plan on having this phone for a second year the internal storage may become an issue in 12-18 months. Next years gen of phones will bring bigger apps, bigger files.

A friend introduced me to Xda when I was consitering buying a nook and he explained the concept of rooting.
Anyway, my question revolves around the half the ram on the new nook tablet. Assuming that there is no problems with rooting it, how much will half the ram effect the system?
I thought seeing the $50 price slash was a godsend, 8gig of storage i can live without, besides, its upgradeable if i really need it, but half the ram? whats the point of sticking on a faster processer if your gonna gut the ram?
can anyone give me an opinon as to if this is worth the price slash? or is $50 worth the extra ram?
its not half the RAM... its half the Storage. Which unless you are going to do some advanced partitioning you probably won't get much use out of anyway.
You pretty much have to get an external micro-SD card for these anyway as B&N only makes 1GB of the internal storage easily available.
Short answer... yeah its pretty much worth it. You can find 32gb cards online For $35 so you won't be missing much.

I cannot say whether or not it is worth it, because I have no experience with any other Android tablets besides the Nook, but I can confirm according to its website that is does have half the ram as well as half the storage. 8 GB storage and 512k ram.

You may have noticed in the video that this forum is stricter than others. It's mainly to keep things from getting repeated and to save people time, though, and it works nicely that way. Developing is hard work. BTW, no one's head is gonna explode about this, but questions like this are probably best off in the Q&A section.
So, to answer your question, the RAM is halved, the storage is more readily accessible but also halved... is it worth the $50 dollars you save? Sure! It has the same specs and price of the Kindle fire, but with SD storage as well, and the Fire works just fine with 512 mb of RAM.

No the RAM is indeed halved. All of the mainstream tech sites are reporting this, it's not a rumor.
As for partitioning, Nook Tabs are veeery picky about partition schemes,nso that's kinda dangerous. But the current alpha of CM7 gets you better access to the storage, and future releases are planned to allow full access.
my appolgies. tis a problem i usualy have figuring out which forum to post in, this seemed like the likely canidate since there were allready so many posts about the nook tablet 8gb. I will try to keep in mind that this is for tech questions only.

For $50 twice the ram and more storage (at least when you put CM7 on it). it seems easily worth it.
My opinion - definitely not worth it.
I got CM7 running on it, and I can see just how important it is.
You won't be running BN's ROM forever, and when you switch to CM7 (with CM9 coming soon, it seems), you really gonna wish you had that RAM, trust me.
I bought a NT last week on Ebay from B&N for $199. Not sure if they are still on sale, but you might check.
If it was a 1GB RAM / 8 GB storage deal, I'd have said the Kindle Fire had some real competition.
As it is, I'd definitely go for the 16 GB version. Not because of the extra storage, but those extra 512 MB in RAM are going to make a difference down the road. What was B&N thinking? Their real advantage over the Fire (RAM) is now gone!
Personally I'd shell out the extra few bucks for the RAM as well. If it were just the storage being reduced, I'd go with it, but the RAM is too important, imo.

They're thinking that many consumers don't seem to know or care about the RAM (or other advantages of the Nook hardware), they just look at the price tag and $199 for the Fire beats $249. I hope it helps, though they've got a mountain to climb to overcome the Amazon ecosystem and Appstore.

If only I'd known this 2 days ago when I bought an 8GB version while being in the USA... Figured the 8GB less flash wasn't a big deal if you're using an SD card anyway, and not knowing about the RAM I "saved" some bucks. Now I'm back in Belgium with an 8GB Nook, with half the RAM too, and at the moment unable to run CM... Great
Anyway, I hope someone can get it to root and/or run CM soon!

I certainly don't know the NT well, but I just helped my father in law get a 8GB tablet configured for its basic functionality. I'd like to be able to set it up to run non-BN sanctioned android apps, and from what I have found there is currently no known way to put go launcher or something similar in place that will allow it to be used for general android apps. This is a huge drawback, IMO. Hopefully in a reasonable time there will be some workarounds, but from the searches I have done, this is not currently doable. If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know.
My father-in-law didn't want to put up the extra 50 bucks and I didn't realize at the time that there was much difference other than the extra storage. I had just assumed that with a 32GB SD card that it would be more than enough memory, but it seems there are other issues since it uses the new 1.4.2 OS too. It looks like B&N is deadset to make sure users can't use it for anything other than their apps. I'm thinking that he should just return the 8GB NT and go for the 16GB version instead.
They have figured out how to boot off an SD card for the 8G, now they are moving that over to the rooting SD versions and the recovery versions.
It will take a little bit of time but I think we will see a lot of progress in this next week.

I actually agree very much with this. The Kindle Fire's also ahead in terms of custom ROMs since it's not locked up. I chose the Nook Tablet (16 GB version) because I could buy it from my school bookstore and also use it with textbooks from my school.
If you have to choose between 8GB Nook Tab and 16GB Nook Tab, go with the 16 GB one. But if you're choosing between an 8GB Nook Tab and a Kindle Fire, I'd go with the Fire.

Okay, this is a common misconception about computer storage vs. memory. They're not really the same thing, although the words used to describe them are very similar.
RAM/Memory = How much your computer can keep loaded up temporarily. Think of it as how much someone could be thinking about at once - RAM is important for a computer or device to be able to multi-task.
Storage/Disk space = How much information a computer can recall. Think of it as how much someone could remember.
Now, storage allows you to have more files on your device, but RAM allows your device to be more powerful and run more applications at once.
So annoying, another phone I'm interested in ruined straight away by no Micro SD and only a 16gb version. Problem is with tech it moves so fast that making you wait a few months for a 32gb version means I might as well then wait for the Galaxy S4 lol.

Non expandable storage is pretty much criminal, yeah. Jury is out on the battery size, but there's no reason they couldn't have included a SD slot - it's less than a dollar's worth of parts.
Even if the battery turns out to be adequate, the lack of storage makes the phone untenable. 32gb could have been lived with, 64gb would be ideal.
I understand where you are coming from but when you look from a "normal" consumers point of view they probably could care less because most dont know how it works.

I really don't see the problem, okay I lie, I do. But it is not that big of a deal, with cloud storage like dropbox (50 gb free with gs3) and drive, I would mostly use the 11 gb for pics and videos and apps, which fills up fast with the new advance camera's. So I automatically have my pics uploaded to google+, upload my videos via wifee to dropbox. Apps, I'm just going to have to deal with it, music is stored on google music.

I have to agree. I dont use my phone to store movies.
I use DropBox & Drive to store music and short video's. With the 100 or so apps I have on my 8GB thunderbolt and tons of pictures, I still have about 1.8GB of free space on it.
Still, it woudl be nice to have a 32GB option, or the SD slot.. very silly of HTC not to have more storage capacity in their new 'flagship phone' ... but 16GB is going to be fine for me for the next 2 years.

Strange...... pdadb.net states that the DNA has a micro SD slot supporting up to 32gigs. http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=3950&c=htc_droid_dna_adr6435__droid_incredible_x_htc_dlx but that might have been a rumor or based on the Japanese sister phone "J-Butterfly". The Verizon website makes no mention of a micro SD slot though. Deal breaker for me!
I would have loved if it had 32 gigs on board as well. Then the I could have dealt with the lack of micro sd.
I don't want to have to have to play the cloud storage file management game where I have to keep uploading and downloading and deciding what I want on my phone. I don't mind 16GB internal as long as I have a micro SD slot or I don't mind having 32GB and no Micro SD right now. The problem is files and apps are only going to get larger so by the time 16GB goes away in favour of 32GB that'll be too small then too.
I mean just give me an option to have the storage size I want. 16GB is only like 11-13GB usable..... well over half of that goes to my music and then some games are a couple GB now....... suddenly I'm out of space and cannot record video.
Just had an online chat with Verizon Rep and she put me on hold while she checked and confirmed that the micro sd card slot is not mentioned on the specs on the verizon page (as I told her). I told her that Verizon had made a big mistake (with less total memory than my Rezound) on the DNA. She said "Verizon is not the manufacturer" (Duh!). I said true but it is made to Verizon's specifications by hTC.....oh well! I might be forced into the arms of the Galaxy Note II (which at least has up to 64 gigs of micro sd storage available to go with its paltry 16 gigs on board).

For some reason the manufacturers want to push us to cloud service. I can see a 32gb coming out soon, but as for sd card slot.... When I first got the phone for testing, the first thing I said was "no SD card slot". After taking with HTC I moved all my music to Google cloud and found that it works very good with the Google Music player. So what I'm trying to say is you are going to see this more down the road.

Yes your right, something needs to be done. The DNA is not the only new hot phone with no SD card slot, check out the Google Nexus 7 and Google Nexus 4. Like I said we will see more and more of this down the road.
verizon spec'd the phone without a micro SD slot. The J Butterfly did have it (if I remember correctly). Drink up more data from them. That is what they are selling now, not phone calls.

I've been interested in getting a new handset since the Nexus 4 purely because it was so cheap, however without a 32GB model at least it becomes useless for me even at the price, it would be like downgrading. Now however I'm interested in buying a new mobile just because I've gotten myself excited at the thought, even though my upgrade is in April and I'm perfectly happy with my GS2. Now this phone was announced I thought great it's basically a Nexus 4........ no 32GB or Micro SD...... FFS!
I'm just gonna end up waiting till April and hopefully the GS4 will be on the horizon and I'll get that, no way would Samsung design it without a Micro SD or at least a 32GB model.

I just realized that you are absolutely correct ! freakin verizon... why else would they make such a small internal capacity, amazing screen to make u watch more videos and no sd storage

I wouldn't say Verizon spec'd out the phone. HTC took many users considerations into this phone. Remember XDA and/or developers are only a small part of the cell phone world. I'm not saying I like the ideal of 16gb without a SD card, but......
~16GB doesn't effect my choice of any future phone. I got 25GB on Skydrive, 30 on DB and the measly 7GB on GDrive. So essentially those 16GB is only temp storage for photos/videos before I delete them off the phone once i see there already on DB and my music is streamed from Google Music. So the majority of it is for Apps which i don't download many anyways.
You people complain about MORE MORE MORE!! But dam what are keeping on that phone? Pictures and Videos? Things that can easily be lost if the phone gets lost/stolen or outright bricks on you. NO offense

Not everyone has an unlimited plan, I'm stuck on a shared 4GB data plan w/ 4 people if I go with Verizon. Sprint is starting to get tempting though...

I keep EVERY THING on clouds, picasa , 100 gb google drive , google music
I just dont trust verizon to let me keep my grandfather unlimited forever, and i am terrified to wake up one day to realize that i have a 2gb cap to access 160 gb worth of material
between custom roms , and recoveries and the rom backups , 16 gb is barely enough . at that point , where i will have to buy an mp3 player and carry that separately.
and i can kiss pandora goodbye if verizon caps it

Look folks I own the latest HTC phone built with an sd card. The evo lte. Having an sd card really isnt that big of a deal. The onboard sd card is much faster and i have a class 10 sandisk 32. Nothing is faster than that but onboard storage. Basically i use root explorer alot and any files not being used or accessed at that time you keep on the card anything current or needed to be flashed you keep onboard. Its almost like you have 2 sd cards not one. Now obviously the dna will not have this but a simple flash drive and adapter is the exact same thing! The only difference would be you cant run the files off the flash drive without transfering them but im not sure why you would run them off an external anyway if you had them? Onboard memory is faster anyhow? I just dont see why the fuss? Yall are mad about nothing lol. Flash drives cost about 20% more than a sd card. Relax its not a big deal. Lol

16GB isn't future proof for apps (mostly games). I wouldn't want to plug in a flash drive to play some games - that would be incredibly annoying. Other than that, I don't see it as a big deal. I also never listen to music while out though (besides car radio). I currently only use 3GB of space on my Incredible, but it also just can't handle any real games lol.

Some are over 2GB already, HD ones that inevitably come out soon will be 3-4GB. Well, the free roaming ones anyway - Angry Birds never will be. That means if only storing apps you could only have 3-4 games before running out of space. It's only 11GB free after formatting and the Jellybean/Sense etc.
I dont game on phones and never will. just got a 32gb nexus 7 so when my nephews come over they can play all the .99 cents games I bought last year. Stay away from my phone lol. I game but true joy is on big screen, xbox, pc, ps3, I really could care less about gaming on 5inch or 7inch screen where I get tired of controls after 5 mins.
Man im on my phone enough as it is! The last thing I need is another addiction lol.

People always bring up that they have like 50GB of music.
I have a ton of music too, but come on people. Do you need to carry every single song you own with you in your pocket? REALLY?
I pick a few hundred songs to put on my phone and when I get tired of it I put new ones on.

I'm sure that not only 16GBs (11GBs usable), 8GBs (yep, 3GB usable only) storage is enough for many people who only surf webs, facebook, sometimes take some photos, listen to music a little bit and have some small apps. I think at least 50-70% smartphone owners use their device this way.
However, there are still a lot of people needing bigger storage for many purposes, and I dont know what you wanna ask. For you it's enough, and for others it's not, that is personal opinion and purpose.
Something similar that I saw in other fanboys' topics, such as when people blamed on iPhone about it's storage, close OS, small screen or just no bluetooth sharing, and many shew a ton of evidences that it's enough. The same thing with Samsung's plastic and Motorola's bootloader.
I personally don't use my phone for games, music or movies. I use it for email, calls, texts and web-browsing (as well as for certain productivity apps). However, I can certainly see how someone looking to use their phone as an all-in-one multimedia device would not be satisfied with 16gb.
In the end, like everything else in the world, it really is just subjective and based on personal use requirements which is why there is no reason for people to bash a device for so-and-so reason or for people to bash the people doing so because, at the end of the day, there's always a group out there that will find the specs of any piece of technology adequate for their needs.

There's no way I'll ever come close to the limit listening to streaming music. To take up 4GB of data I'd have to listen to 128 Kbps streaming constantly for 69 hours. Some people might have issue with that but I know I won't. Plus I tend to use the spotify feature to download my favorite playlists to the device so it's rarely streaming anyways. Automatic sync and everything. It's a wonderful setup for music for only $10/mo.

Aren't the data plans 2gb/$30 and 5gb/$50 a month? There is a big difference between streaming up to 2gb vs. 4gb.
Simple. They need access to more than 13gb of stuff. Is it really beyond your comprehension that there are people in the world that need this? I think using a flash drive with my phone is really cool but its a bit ridiculous to think it could replace the function of an SD card. You may as well ask why anyone would want more that 8gb of data on a phone or 4gb of data.
Or better yet why do you think you need more than 1gb of storage on your phone. I only use my phone for email and the internet so I can't understand why anyone in the world would need more than a gigabyte, I mean my email cache is like less than 100mb and the internet is LITERALLY on the internet so I don't need ANY storage for that. Even if i downloaded an app, that's like what, a few more mbs? What could anyone possible have on their phone that would exceed 1gb.

Not really to me. I track my usage and over the past six months on my Sprint EVO 4G I've averaged ~415MB per month total. That includes my spotify usage, internet, maps, searches, occasional youtube, etc. Of course I see my usage going up somewhat when I get on LTE, but not by tenfold. My original point was that the need to carry around 50GB of music is nullified (at least for me) by using something like Spotify.
My remaining question to those who insist on carrying that much music, why are you only limiting yourself to that much? I mean, I have 200GB+ on a storage drive at home. You can't carry all that around so what's the difference between 50 and 200?
I could care less about not having an SD card, but I don't play games or store music so much less memory is needed for my use. I can completely understand those who game a lot and store music and vids needing one. My biggest concern would be getting it rooted and being able to access the hotspot hacked of course. When this can be done ill be very tempted to pick one up.

I was worried about the lack of storage expansion in my current device, but I soon realized I didn't need my entire music collection with me all the time.
I have a lot of music, but I just don't listen to it often enough for an SD card slot (or lack thereof) to be a deal breaker

OK...you offered...I am thinking about purchasing the Huawei Ascend XT. In the specs (phonescoop) I noticed 16Gb internal storage with 8.4 "open" usage. That's 7Gb of factory installed bloatware? #1. Other than the Nougat O.S. could most of the bloatware be SAFELY removed #2. In asking that...is most of the bloatware Google and google support services?

I haven't bought the phone...yet. I'm in need of a new phone and it's just one of 3 o r 4 I'm considering. Doesn't almost 3 Gb's of bloatware seem like and awful lot? It does to me. One other item of question: I noticed and it very much caught my attention, in the specs it states: FM Radio-YES. Is this an FM receiver (local FM radio) or just Internet Stream FM?

i dont use the fm turner app i remove it from my roms or least my phone my roms have pretty much all the bloat removed that i could find im still working on new one will be a bit the phone is nice just when we finally get a working dev tree etc we will have custom roms the phone has same hardware as honor 5x i do believe the rr port i did where wifi was broke the phone runs fast so im trying to fix the wifi for it for temp if i can if not im still working on my new rom
It's a FM receiver which requires wired headphones to be connected as the wire functions as an antenna too.

I'm using stock ROM on B170. My phone only has 8.55GB of internal storage available. From the advertised 16GB. I only have 0.44GB left. I really don't have much on my phone. But as a result of low storage I can't have all the apps and games on my phone that I want.
.how can I expand the internal storage to be more like the 16GB as advertised. What's the highest amount you have available on your phone? Do you have more than 8.55GB on your ROM? If you do how much and link to ROM plz.
Because as you know we can't install aps on the SD card. Or do you do that?

Uninstall apps you don't need that take up internal storage, use the storage manager to clear apps caches, move data including music, pictures and videos to micro SD, set apps to store their data in micro SD where possible. Can't do anything else that I am aware of. I usually have 1GB free internal storage after doing this and have to do it regularly.

First, you need to know that no matter what, there was never 16Gb of memory. They (all electronic storage) "say"-advertise 16gb (or 8 or 2 or 64...etc) but in actuality there is only the nearest binary unit number closest to 16Gb. 16 Gb is actually 16.384 Gb or 16384 Mb.. Got you confused? OK, all storage is designated in "bytes" (one unit of storage) and bytes use the binary system when computing their size/storage capacity. Therefore an "advertised" 16Gb is only actually just slightly more than 15.9 Gb. If your not sure what I'm saying, use a conversion chart for Mb to Gb (or vice-versa) and remember that your dealing in the "binary" code. Then , on top of that, manufacturers set aside a certain number of "sectors" to account for bad/defective sectors that may occur when manufactured. Thus, it would not be unusual for 16Gb to actually only be about 14.7 Gb (or so) of actual usable storage space. Example...I have a "16" Gb pendrive that has 14.5 Gb of "actual" storage capacity on it. If the doesn't make sense to you, look up "How electronic storage works" (google-bing...etc..) Next, look up just how much "space" the O.S. on you phone occupies. Then, after deducting that number from the "actual" storage capacity, you'll be able to determine just how much "bloatware" you may have on the phone and you can -CAREFULLY- start eliminating some of those apps. This will open more "storage space" for personal use, (Mb's) on the phone. One last thing...you can put apps on an SD card. Now, that said, SOME SD cards are not "compatible" with certain phones and that may prevent you from being able apply the apps to the SD card. No you don't have me confused at all. Thank you for the response Madame. Sorry for the late reply. Well I think today is the day I will finally root and flash a new ROM. As im tired of EMUI and no adoptable storage.
Can you link me to the ROM you reccomend? I want adoptable storage. Not that much bloatware. Full functionality, including camera, wifi, netflix, wireless display etc. Also I want a little more available RAM if possible. I want adoptable storage. Please reccomend a ROM.
One more thing. I've seen that the Samsung Micro SD cards above 32 GB are working for this phone . But I may pick up a 32GB or 64GB Sandisk micro SD card. Will the Sandisk be just as compatible as the Samsung? I plan to simply get an Class 10 of 95mb read speed and 10mb write speed. Like the Sandisk ultra or the Samsung evo cards. Thank you fam.

What's up. I'm new to these parts of the forums. I have downgraded from s8+'s and now I'm on the H1611. I have your b180 room installed on my device and for the life of me cannot get Xposed to install without dealing with the constant boot loop. I know it takes something like 20 min. I've read somewhere but an hour is ridiculous. I have tried flashing through TWRP and I've tried through Magisk and no luck. Any idea to get Xposed installed?

Another thing is it normal to have ram at like 300-400mb free? This phone feels super sluggish and I think MIUI is far too heavy for this phone. I agree with the folks in here that want lineageos. I'll search for a branch or source tree to see if I can get something going at least. If not I'll join the club with trying to build a tree. This phone has "0" snappiness whatsoever. A friend's LG Leon lte feels way faster than this BEHEMOTH of a phone

Well, I actually have it installed now and haven't posted here since this part of the forums are a complete ghost town. I was gonna share my current build for this device but seeing from the lack of anything here I'm not gonna even waste time releasing it to the general public. And thanks for your response but it would've been easier with just providing some information rather than making me go through pages of nonsense. But the response is what matters. I will be returning back to a real device shortly because this phone is not as snappy as everyone says and nor is it as good as everyone says for it's dollar. I bought this phone and a brand new Samsung j3 and kept this phone because I hate Samsung but now I really wish I had kept it. So good day/evening. I am out....

Well what information exactly were you looking for? Installing Xposed is not a one liner and can get a bit complicated with all the different versions.
You could have written up what Xposed version you installed and how you did it to help the next person - that's how forums work.

Exactly so, why was your reply opposite of what you are telling me? And it's quite obvious that there is only the magisk way of installing it. I'm not trying to argue with you man. I asked that question a day or 2 ago and I noticed that no one really was even cruising around in the forums so I said to myself what the heck, might as well keep trying things on my own. Also, noticed developement has come to a complete stop a while ago. I honestly thought this place was deserted.
