For example i am on 2.1( bb .54)and when i flash Xperia TW 007 [KERNEL 3.52],i don't get any signal.I have used the patch from here after flashing the kernel. Can anyone help.
If you want the rom WITHOUT custom kernel just flash this with xrecovery without any patches:
http://wolfbreak.sylvester20007.com/Xperia_TW_V007.zip
But if you want to use the rom WITH custom kernel:
custom kernel works only with baseband 52 & 49
you should flash the baseband 52 with flashtools & this file with xrecovery:

I don't think you need any patch

I am currently on the 2.1.58 baseband and running a 2.2 custom ROM. The ROM I want to flash requires a .49 baseband. I know that I can use the baseband patch, but I would rather flash the custom rom from a clean install. Would there be any problem in flashing an original SE ROM with the .49 baseband and then flashing the custom ROM?
Hi please Its possible install This custom CM kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1894463&highlight=cm9+rom with this cm9 rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2147925 ? If yes how to ? thanks

Hi, I just want to ask: How to install/flash the kernel so that after flash new update of ROM this kernel will be still installed. Because when I install new update of ROM my old version of kernel is back.
ROM: TEMASEK's CM 10.2 V31
KERNEL: 010913-0811-cm10.2-i9300-linux3094-BOEFFLA
My kernel after flash new update is still: 3.0.6x
EDIT: Since all ROMs include a kernel, if you're using a custom Kernel then flash a ROM, you will need to reflash the kernel again.
I am sorry, I had to read that thread before posting this.

All ROMs update the kernel because a ROM needs a kernel to function. If you want to use a custom kernel, you must flash it immediately after the ROM.

I install Minicm7,2.2.2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1068553 but it only works on naa kernel how can I port this rom into stock kernel? which files in rom I have to change ?
Do I need to downgrade? I flashed a custom kernel but can't get into recovery. Kernel is... 3.4.0 [email protected] #1
You can't downgrade, neither flash a custom kernel dude, I have the same bootloader and it's locked, the best you can do is install SafeStrap (or if you want install FlashFire) and flash a custom rom based on Touchwiz
