How do I interpret the android battery graph?

Well if you go to Applications - Battery Usage and then press on the battery graph there is everything explained
It shows at what time for example GPS was on and how long.
I was talking about the graph such as those found here:

When, what, how long
On the picture you can see
- Battery is running 18h40m
- Wifi was on ~50% of time (Blue means it was on)
- Wifi was on at the beginning for ~30minutes, then was switched off and after some hours switched on again and is still on
It show when WiFi was on, Screen was on etc.
Edit: Too late
I see! Thanks!
So the signal bar is full and yellow cuz... it's always on?
Batt graph times
But why is the time above the graph and the one below different. At this moment is says on my device 1h 28 minutes on battery. Below the graph 50m 22s is shown.

Has anyone else noticed the battery status icon seemingly displays less available battery power compared to the 10 block Battery Level in About Phone --> Status ?
Icon shows less than half full (about a third in the icon) when five blocks are filled (half full) ?
Which is correct ?
I agree with you - i am confused with which is correct.
The top battery icon is always less than the "About Phone" settings.
Maybe if we installed a 3rd party battery app....hmm....
Which one though ?? hmmm...
i think that they have an app on the market that displays percentage of battey left dont know the name of it though

maybe you could cross chek with the battery status from here.... from dialpad dial *#*#4636#*#* and then go to battery status . you can croos chek from here which is most accurate
Useful code, many thanks, will do this next time the battery is low.
Is there a list of these you could share ?

they are from the magic forum. I never tried them out though.
I know that it is possible to use app to use different colors of led to display different system messages. But I wold appreciate if I cold just change led color from green to blue (or other then green, yellow os red) when batt charge is on 100%.
Do anybody know if there is a config file to do this?

Look into shivenjuneja's thread in apps and themes section for battery icon changing.

Oh, I'm sorry. My English is very bay, and I think that you (and maybe all others) did not understand me.
I'm not trying to change battery icon, but the led color. By default, it lights on red when batt are lower than 10%, green when is over 90% and yellow (orange?!?) between these values.
I would like to change the color from green to blue (or any other) when the batt is on 100%.
Tks for your help, anyway...
Sorry I misread you. BTW, I saw one such app (launched today itself) in Android Games & Apps section but a it is for DroidX only. Anyway link is posted for you to see yourself.

can you explain this a bit please? i mean how to do that. i really like tasker, but i'm no master at this
so we need to replace "charged state" led color somehow, and change it by the level of charging, right?
so howto? :}
i've tryed alert in tasker, and looks like it doesnt work on our lil minis
ok. now it works, only if screen is off.
but the charging led is anyway over eeemmm... overconlrolling this. i mean no tasker led blinks, if you put the charger in

Hello.
One of the things I've noticed after upgrading to GB 2.3.4 is that no more green led indicator when battery is fully charged.
Is there a tweak for this to bring it back?
Thank you.
I don't believe it ever did for stock ROMs. I always had green while charging then it went off when charged.
I use Circle Battery from the market and with this app you can tell it what colors to display on screen and/or LED when charging, charged, in use, warning and critical.
It does work on stock 2.2, but after upgrade to any 2.3.4 (stock or custom) it doesn't...
On my atrix it only lit when battery is fully charged and flashes on some notifications. Not sure why you had it in reverse.
I found "Circle Battery Widget" and "Battery Circle" neither of them have control for LED.

I have still yet to do GB since I have that on my SGS, and it's a PITFA to go back to Froyo on the Atrix.
Anywhoo... The green charging light works in Froyo. It starts lighting up at 90%, and stays on until you take the phone off the charger.
Don't know how this behaves on GB, so I can only go off of what OP says it does (which kinda sucks)...

Circle Battery Widget does. Start the app from the apps menu>Select Colors>then you have the different custom colors to select based on status. You can also change the percentage for the warnings levels.
When it is plugged in and charging the widget will change color on LED. And, widget changes on the screen. There isn't a specific setting box for it, but it works for both screen and LED.

Oh, ok, for the moment I went back to 2.2.2 and it colors on widget don't affect colors of LED. But it's good to know that there is a way for 2.3.4 get it activated.
Thanks.
you can use "Light Flow" or "Blink" from the market. both allow you to customise the LED colour and what type of notification.
is there any app which can log the reached battery percentage chronological?
means if battery reachs ie. 65% -> it should show the time when that happened.
for each percentage -> show a time when it dropped.
any idea?

There is a great app for that and I use it too - Battery Monitor Widget Pro. It should be available on Google Play.
Hi Guys,
battery life is super important for me because i am all day outside. I had an asus zenfone 3 zoom before (5000mah battery, total beast with 7-10 hours SOT). The asus had a battery saving mode that would "turn off data after screen goes off".
This mode was perfect for me, because the phone was working normal when i use it, and when it lock it, it drains almost zero battery, no background activity (its like being in airplane mode). I wonder if there is any way to do the same with the Mate 10? Any workarounds or suggestions?
With the mate 10 i notice that there is a lot of battery drain when the screen is off. If i go to sleep i will lose 15% the next morning.
I dont like the normal battery saving mode of the mate 10 because it makes the phone slower when im using it, and whatsapp messages/emails dont come through unless i open the app manually, which is annoying. So its not a solution i can use all day.
Any other tips are welcome.
My Mate 8 had this under in the power management tab in the phone manager app. My Mate 10 arrived today, I'll inbox it later and check. 15% drain is excessive, most are reporting 0 to 1% drain.
Ok let me know
Sorry for the late reply, got too carried away testing my new phone
Go to the Phone Manager App, click on the battery symbol in the left bottom corner, then click on the settings icon. The settings icon is in the top right hand corner. There you will see the options to disable mobile data and wifi during sleep.
Install "Brevent" from playstore and set it up using ADB (if you r not rooted)
Will help to boost your batt throughout the day
