I want it too. It's a main reason why I keep on stock SE 2.1 ROM
Idk if you can open a old back up and take the apk but if it was that easy they would of done it. Am new to android been a symbilan freak for ages

Sony ericssons defualt cam won't work on custom roms... But u can still have the default album that comes bundled with the camera app.
I was looking for that too. Restored my backed up original SE camera with Titanium. It works somehow but the button on the upper right corner FCs the app. Plus it does not show the correct icons at the corners. Just round arrows.
I love the default SE home with the corner icons. If only there was a rom that is exactly like that but froyo, that would be perfect!

No, its a CWM recovery file. so install via CWM. But this is old SE camera version from this thread before and not everything works perfect. But you can try it.
Cannot install through CWM r3. It says it needs edifier..

with seus i cant too, because than i hold back key and try connect usb cable its not connecting
You do know you're supposed to do the full wipe BEFORE flashing the rom, right?
I see this all the time unles your usb is broke there is no reason it won't work keep trying follow on screen info make sure you have latest seus

i have exactly the same problem exsept mine turns on but keeps looping and restarting itself past the sony ericsson part
i can get onto cwm recovery so i tried wipeing and installing another rom but that wont work either :/ any ideas please? i have tried using seus and putting the phone into recovery but that also doesnt work it still loops
Pull battery out put in powwer cord put battery back in now wait for charge symble on screen press power now pull cable. U will be in recovery you hope

EDIT: i was using the same rom as you before but i decided to change since it kept restarting all the time. would this make a difference? i have tried reinstalling that rom but it just says its a bad command and doesnt do anything
Ok now try a back up that you should of made before changing rom it will say back up xrecovery ,,,,,,,,if you haven't made 1 take out sd card put it in laptop and get a coppy of froyocomb or cm5 install that instead or reflash your phone and start again ,,,,,,back up back up back up lol

i have tried this already but it just says its a bad request the .zip cannot be opened

settings-interface-overscroll effect and select bounce for gingerbread roms or something similar for froyo roms

Asa you see the 'sony ericsson' logo are you pressing 'back' button repeatedly? If you are its either not installed or not installed properly,did you put the 3 files 'busybox,chargemon and xrecovery tar' in the system/bin folder?

Can i ask what the need for xrec is? I mean we have a decent CWM version and most roms if not all for mimmi and robyn use updater_script(CWM) instead of update_script(xrec). If im wrong please correct me. But yeah just curious as to why?

Reinstall xrecovery using the latest superoneclick, I had the same problem.
i had tested al ROM,and im using GinTonic too.

I'm on stock SE kernel using paul-xxx's MiniCM7Pro v21 and it says it's not compatible with my phone in the market (aka Google Play) ?!?
Installed, started app, needed sign up so i closed it. But installed normally. Maybe to try with other ROM's?

It's not working on MiniCM7Pro_V21_3. Shows the same.
Installed on slade87's gintonic 2.5.1 with stock kernel.

Don't think I have - how do you check the density? If I had changed the density is that why it say's it's not compatible in the market (play)? Also, does the app require 120 density?
no problem with default density, but i'm using nAa kernel and MiniCm7 2.2.0.

Install Rom Toolbox (http://tinyurl.com/cqre6hk)
Then go to the Performance setting and build.prop Tweaks,
check the LCD density, if it's 120 : it's ok, if it's not : change to 120
In the Play Market (http://tinyurl.com/c79oqws) tells me that U20i is compatible with Instagram.
Maybe the model number is not right, check it out in the Setting panel of the phone, then go to the about the phone menu and look at the line model number, is it U20i ?
I'm using instagram here...
The problem that I found is that you can't take a picture using Instagram... I can pick one of gallery and use...
When I try to take a picture, I get FC...
Any chance to solve?
PS: I found this at google play. I'm using nAa rom and kernel
Version 1.0 works fine though it crashes sometimes at the same point mentioned above. Using miniCM7pro v21 rom with nAa's kernel, going to test version 1.0.1 now..

Same as the others for me, can't take a picture without FC, Instagram 1.0.1.
I've send a bugreport though google crash report, I hope they will correct the bug soon :-/ It's annoying, even if we can the picture first and then import it in Instagram for editing.
Is there anyone who could port or reengineer the instagram app to make it work for our x10 mini pro's please??

My x10 Mini Pro use MiniCM7 Pro V.21 Final...and it is bugless and almost perfect to be daily use and for the Semc Debrand Engine,it is unstable I think because I use it ONCE and it is horrible (even it is looks like 2011 Android Gingerbread stock)...the setup guide got a force close problem which we need to delete some of the apps in the Rom before flash it...so,I highly recommend MiniCM7 and MiniCM7 Pro if you have a x10 Mini Pro
EDIT : The Rom that I mention is made by Paul-xxx AFAIK...instead of saying 'Thanks' to me,say the word to him

Don't agree with you. Minicm by pyul it is ok but is slow. Miniscm 220 by nAa is much much faster. Only what doesn't wark so good is camera. But as some guy suggested to me just replace camera apk with camera apk from paul rom. And you got fast 2.3 rom for your mini (pro)

how about it's g-sensor before this i use minicm7 pro it have lag on g-sensor..for me minicm7 by nAa more stable only lag on camera

I have been using nAa's MiniCM 2.1.9 with his kernel since its release and I am pretty happy with it.
I can't say it is perfect because of a bug involving Skype app. If this app is not a must for you, then I recommend you try. Very stable and fast.

Do we have any theme which works well with De brand engine by Achotjan.. I m using latest version of his ROM. UI of status bar is very small. Battery and data icons looks hazy. I tried installing various molded themes for ldpi CM7 devices but none of them worked. Almost all run into boot loop.. Please reply.
