Nice! This game was previously called Droid Odyssey. I had the beta on my EVO for ages, and I always thought it was a great game. Glad to see it has made it to a final version. The dev has put a LOT of work into this game.
Thanks for pointing this out. Game purchased .

Today is Gameloft's MC3's $0.99 deal which normally goes for $6.99 so head to the Market and download MC3 if you like high quality FPS games. I don't know which one's better, Modern Combat 3 or MADFINGER Game's ShadowGun. LOL!
https://market.android.com/details?...5nYW1lbG9mdC5hbmRyb2lkLkFOTVAuR2xvZnRNM0hNIl0.
update: Aw Hell! It looks like the deal ended this morning.
I managed to get a copy yesterday. The thing literally took twenty minutes to download all the extra data
And, since this topic's already here. . . anybody want to play a match sometime? Maybe we could schedule a tourney? I'm not terribly good, but it'd be fun to play some other people from XDA.
Gameloft ID's Shadow_of_Light, by the way.

That is my #1 peeve about the Market. You only have 15 minutes from the time you download the apk from the Market yet it takes at least 15 minutes on the average to download the required files for that particular apk. WTH! I'll tell you this Shadow of Light, with the multiplayer version of MC3, it's awesome aside from the fact you may find yourself snipered 10 seconds right after the round starts. LOL!

Rofl. So true, man. . . I have no idea how anybody can be a THAT good with clunky touchscreen controls. . .
Which reminds me: I seriously wish I could fire with the camera button. That would be amazing. Being forced to stop aiming to fire a round is just ridiculous.

Both are awesome games, have been playing MC3 for a while now but i really like shadow gun reminds me of GOW
I'm not a gamer, but got to think about it. I already have enough games I'v paid for and don't really use. And its back to $6.99!

Thanks dude,
Nice game:cyclops:
Pay what you want for Osmos, Anomaly, and Edge. If you pay over the average which I believe is $5.65 you get World of Goo as well.
This is an awesome deal and it benefits a couple of charities as well.
These are direct downloads not through the android market.
http://www.humblebundle.com/
how would updates work if they are just sending you the apk?
do they provide updated apk's?
just curious as i haven't used it before.
EDIT: looks like they do provide an update.
hmm, i might just do this!
Done, I've been supporting the Humble Indie bundle for a couple of years now. Love it.
Btw you get both the regular version of osmos as well as the HD version for tablets.
I loved Osmos on my macbook when it first released, but it just works so beautifully on a touchscreen.
Such a wonderful game.
I got it just for Osmos HD. It's awesome on the Prime. Thanks again!
Best net speed Cheacker
which the best site to check our Internet speed.
Just bought from Humble Bundle for the 1st time and will be doing so in the future without a doubt; its a really cool/creative concept to get people to donate to help charities and devs. Anomaly looks pretty sick, though I haven't tried it out yet, but I found out after donating, though it says mobile version, when I downloaded Anomaly to my Prime it was the HD version for tablet.
Just a note for people looking but unsure as to how it works. When you purchase on the website it not only gives you a web link for the apks but also all the games can be downloaded on to any pc os. So your basically getting 8 games at what ever price you want to pay

Doh! I just bought Osmos HD in the market this afternoon...oh well, buying the bundle anyway! haha
the game from the bundle aren't market compatible though, are they? so no automatic updates?

not automatic, but they state that they will provide updated apk's on their site.
does anyone have weird freezes with anomaly HD?
it plays for a bit and then the screen freezes and shakes, but the game still runs underneath.
gonna try to wipe and reload as shadowgun is also giving me the same issue.
edit: so a wipe fixed it, i swear, gamestop does something to screw up these tablets, the first one i had from them also worked much better after a wipe.
Even if they arnt compatible im still very happy i got this. Didnt realise they were doing the android versions on the bundle! Bought one before, but this was early days. Always supported this as its a brilliant way to promote Indie games, yet at the same time raising money for charity.
Thanks for sharing
For those wondering about getting future updates, it appears that they are developing an android app that could notify you of updates and make the process simple (app market-esque?).

I posted this thread yesterday.... and nobody responded, now the same post has 13 replies and people saying they wished they knew earlier... ????
Regardless, last night I dl'ed and played all three of the new games.
Osmosis - my favorite, beautiful and fun.
Anomoly - like the spin on the "reverse tower defense" i will enjoy playing this game.
Edge - I keep falling off the edge, the movements don't seem to do what I tell them to. Not my thing.
Well worth a few bucks,

Haha, thanks, hairdewx, you and 2 others. ;-] I was just happy to find something worth contributing to the community, since I've gotten so much from it already. I think this is a really great thing, and completely worth it!
Got my thanks too, jumped on that deal when I saw your post, best 6 bucks I ever spent! World of goo and osmosis are amazing time killers, especially since I can load them on both my pc and my ATP.
I realize this probably shouldn't be posted here. But with the release of GW2 tomorrow morning I wanted to see if any of you planned on playing as I thought it might be cool to play with some of the Photon community members we have around here. If Moscow Desire is cool with this thread staying open, I'll post XDA usernames and their corresponding GW2 aliases in this OP.
I thought I was going to play but after beta I've decided not to get it.
Thinking about getting it. i never played the first one though.

It was pretty amazing actually. One of the few MMO's that held my interest. I only played the beta for a couple days as I didnt want to experience too much, especially in a beta state. But I'm pretty excited to see if they deliver on the claim that they've 'fixed' the major problems within the MMORPG genre.

Dam! Dont you hate it when that happens! I'm sure we've all been there
This is the game that first made me fall in love with video game violence. such a classic. I already got the free version, and I'm going to get the pay version just because I'm so happy to see this game brought back to life.
It plays great on our devices. Just gets a little warm as always.
Thread is now closed as it looks as if promo has ended.
Just decided to give this a shot. Several people had it in a list of apps they liked in another thread. IGN has 6 chapters of video walkthrough's for it. Also, found some in the Play Store. I briefly looked at the game and walkthrough's. Thought maybe I would start a thread and see where it goes and how many Room Two game fans are out there.
The game looks beautiful, but I cannot make it through the original without a lot of walk throughs. Have you played both Rooms? If so, how is graphics on Room 2 vs. The Room?

I went with Room 2 as I just got my Note 10.1 2014 three weeks ago. It plays like a PC game. Daus Ex: The Fall is the only game I have the comes close to Room 2. Room 2 reminds me of Myst on the PC. I like it so far. I have had to look at the IGN walkthrough. I figured once I got used to the gameplay I would resist in the future. I'll give the first a try when I'm done with this one.
WOW
Holy Crap . . . the second room is full of amazing puzzles. That's all I'm gonna say for now.
Sccreen cap and print useful.
Thought I would mention this. If for some reason you might need to build a map it is helpful to remember the palm across the screen to take a screen capture. Then I printed it with HP eprint and I did not have to return to the directions half a dozen times.
Love the room games!! Got the first one and as soon as the second one came out, I got it and finished it in a day ( no walkthroughs )
Graphics are amazing, as well as the gameplay and the story, even though the story is a bit ominous and strange. Is there any news for a third?

I have to get back into this type of game. I have to check in to the walkthrough. Maybe I'm getting impatient in my old age...

I beat the Room 2 in a day with no walkthroughs as well. It is a good game. Very engaging. Honestly, the tips they give you when you are stuck pretty much tell you what to do.
