i am using rom manager there is option of wipe dalvic cache how to wipe battery status

Yes there would be an option once you start to install the kernel

After flashing recovery with rommanger,You have to boot into recovery, There are options in the list for wiping cache and battery status.

thanks guys flashed successfully first kernel on my phone now where can i find oveclock settings???

Wipe cache & dalvik cache from custom recovery and then flash kernel. That's all.
For battery stats:
- charge your phone
- when it's fully charged keep the charger plugged and boot into recovery
- with the charger still plugged wipe battery stats and reboot
- pull out your charger only after the system boots completly
To overclock install SetCPU (find it on the forum)

Charge your cell to 100% then clear battery stats ,that will give you more power i think ,or try battery calibrator ,it also does the same thing.

I tried wiping battery status before and after ROM install..never had any issues with that.

Battery stats have no influence whatsoever on phone crashes
Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA App

Just wipe the battery when 100%
its just a standard thing.. If you don't believe us.
Don't blame the dev and us for making your battery died faster.

[Q] Battery stats reset & wiping cache

Since i had to reflash my phone at low battery (under 15%) after messing around with some framework apks (one wasnt compatible with litening rom im using it seams) ive noticed a faster battery drain, so i would like to know how to reset battery stats (if there is a way like deleting a single file like with I9000 maby)?
And id like to know if someone can explain in short what all i can wipe to make sure the phone is as clean as it can be to start over (factory reset, then i heard about some cache, dalvik cache...)?
Anyone know this?

restart your phone in recovery mode
when phone is off press and hold the volume up the power button and home button and when the phone starts release the power.
In a few seconds the menu will appear
So wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition will also reset battery stats?
I hoped i wouldnt have to resort to that becouse i have to setup everything again then... i hoped there would be a single file i could delete like with the SGS...
And can someone tell me if i should wipe the dalvik cache after i flashed a few roms and how id do that?

wipe battery stats is in the advanced menu of cwm if you didn't find it
Since i dont have CWM on litening 1.0 i couldnt use that.
However battery calibration app did it for me and i managed to find the file too in:
/data/system/batterystats.bin .
Can someone just tell me now if i ever want to completely clear the phone, besides doing wipe memory/factory reset+wipe cache how do i wipe dalvik cache?
CWM wipe dalvik cache .
jje
I do not have CWM... any other way?

[Q] cant wipe battery stats

I cant wipe my battery stats. i mean, it show no after i wipe battery stats in CWM.

[Q] Why my screen always on when charging battery?

i am using Onecosmic latest ICS rom and his provided kneral
is it the rom problem or i can setting turn the screen off while charging the phone?thanks~
Screen on When Charging
Foodil,
I had this problem way back when I was on one of the MIUI roms.
My fix: reboot to recovery and fix permissions. If this doesn't work then...
backup rom and SMS/MMS
reboot to recovery
nandroid backup (advanced)
wipe dalvick cache and wipe cache
format system
reflash rom
fix permissions
reboot system.
Good luck!

Check the setting that enables/disables this. There is an option to leave the screen on while charging. Settings/applications/developement. Uncheck stay awake..

Thankyou.
i have tried your suggestion
at first fix permission not works, so i reflash the rom following the suggestion apporach ( i can't find nandroid backup (advanced) in the cwm , so i skipped it)
however, this time the mobile phone will turn on (not just screen, it will just boot and enter the android system) when i charging..
so i try install another rom (passion v10.6) . The problem sloved , but i think this rom is worse than the onecomic one . It consume more battery and ram.
So now i will flash back to onecomic one to see what will happen. It is just tedious work.
thanks, eweo911
That item is unchecked but the phone screen still keeping on.
This problem seems not that simple

More than likely you can modify a file to fix that. Now the question is what file and what to change.
It seems some of the user using that rom have the same problem.
Just wait for the next release
thanks.

Need help with Paranoid Android Rom

Just got a new EvoLTE, it's rooted, unlocked, S-Off and has TWRP. I wiped the cache and the Dalvik and tried to install Paranoid Android. My phone boots up to the Rom Logo but is stuck. Am I missing something? How do I boot into recovery since this phone doesn't have a removable battery?

Hold the power button down until it does a hard shut down. Then hold volume down and power and it should put you into hboot and give you the option to select recovery.
Once in recovery you will want to wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache X3 (just what i do)
then do a factory reset and system reset
Than flash rom and see how that goes.
Worked like a charm. Thanks a bunch.

NP! Glad I could be of assistance!
Okay, ran into the same issue trying to install a battery mod. Stuck on the boot animation again. Dow I wipe x3 and try to re-install the mod do I have to start from scratch again?

Did you flash battery mod from sense on aosp rom? If yes, then you have to start from scratch. You have to be more specific on what mod you flashed. You have to wipe cache and dalvik cache before flashing any mod.

well probably it's a kernel bug --unable to calibrate and stuck in previous state..
Sometimes there is an issue with the power meter and it does not reset properly. To reset the power meter, leave the device completely with out power (remove the battery and do not have it connected to a power source via the USB cable) for 10-15 minutes. Replace the battery and charge to 100%.
Best way to remove bug without full flashing is to first flash MESA kernel. Let the rom settle for 20min. Then turn off the phone for 5min. Then flash the desired kernel. The bug goes away... In XMP sk17i.
ONLY 2 KERNELS ARE AVAILABLE AT PRESENT WITHOUT 100% BATTERY BUG-
1. Mesa kernel
2. Kappa kernel 1.7 beta 12
Hope it helps

A)Reflash Stock Firmware
OR
B)Flash kernel which doesn't have battery bug .
It should cure your phone :fingers-crossed:
Flashing this kernel did the trick for me
