Hey guys I saw this sweet mod for the Xoom, it shows your battery percentage in the place of the battery icon on the bottom right corner. Anyone know how to do this? Can we use the UOT kitchen like we do on our phones?
This is what I'm talking about.

I have it on my xoom and yes it is sweet only do not load as it is now cause it will send you into bootloops.

You need to wait and load a deodexed ROM. The files have to be deodexed before you can run it through the kitchen. IDK if it supports Android 3.x files yet or not.
How do I get that clock on my SGT desktop?

I really like the feature in CyanogenMod based ROMs that can display the battery percentage in the status bar over top of the battery icon.
Is there any way to do this on non-CM roms? I've searched all over the place and haven't found anything for the Eris yet, so I'm not too hopeful, but maybe I missed something.

Check Hero section. They have this mod and it should work on our phone.
Does anyone know if one of these downloads will work for the Eris? I really like the blue circles right above post #2.
There are so many download options that I'm not sure if one would work for the Eris.
(I'm running Sense-able 3.1)
Thanks for any help & feedback!

Since we have the atrix deodoxed we should be able to edit the framework. I really miss the icon percentage for the battery. Any good artists working on that yet?

There's a quirk with Motorola phones where the system only shows battery percentages in 10% increments, so for now...no.
The only workaround thus far is this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=979495&highlight=circle+battery
Sad to hear.. but even a 10% change step view is better than non. Just take the "unnecessary" single steps images out?
sent ftom moded droid 2.2
there's a way to make it read in incriments of 1%.. DG did it.. I believe you need to edit framework-res and add some new xmls that include each step from 1%-100% :T
if you need help with that.. you can try searching for circle battery mod in xda.. and download it.. and look at what's inside the zip and see where you need to put the new .png's and what to write in the xmls.

Hey, sweet! My post got quoted in another topic I feel like a celebrity
Is there any way to download a smooth circle battery to any of the ROMs on here or will it just mess up the ROM?

As far as I know the circle battery comes with themes and not alone. At least I haven't seen the option of just flashing the circle battery, I could be wrong.
So, either download a theme or create your own and dont ask me how lol.
I was trying to edit the following files:
framework-res.apk\res\drawable\stat_sys_battery.xml & stat_sys_battery_charge.xml file in the frost and minimalistic b/w time but the contents are unreadable.
I also downloaded a theme from htc_desire for this battery circle mod and copied its xml files to the frost theme, after that there was no battery icon in the notification bar.
Can any one else give it a try ??
hello, new user here.
I could not stand how my status bar did not show the % of battery, so I flashed a zip from towards the end of the bumblebee 2.4 ROM thread. It works great, except the status bar is dark and the clock, although readable is also dark.
I'm afraid when using my phone as a clock in the daytime outside I will not be able to read the time.
I don't know how to go back to stock bumblebee besides flashing bumblebee fresh again.
the mod I used was named UOT-06-14-08-22-1.zip
is there an easy way out? Everything is perfect except the clock.
I've used search, can't find anything and read the bumblebee thread start to finish before I flashed the zip, a post led me to believe it had a readable clock because another user was unable to figure out using "kitchen" how to make a readable clock and thanked the person.
what I would like is a nice battery mod that could overwrite my changes, but I'm not sure that is possible. The ones on the market alluded to not being able to remove the default battery icon even though they added more battery info in the status bar.
tl;dr
How do I overwrite a battery mod to bumblebee to make it like it was before, and is there a battery mod that shows a % meter, without the stock battery icon, but changes little else for bumblebee 2.4
thanks
tried replacing the framework and META-INF files from original bb rom.zip, but got a missing file error and sig verifiction error. Those were the only folders besides fonts that were added from the status bar mod.
guess I'm a little over my head.
oh what the hell, time for Titanium back up and a re-flash. Could probably fix it faster than a reply here.
But are there any good battery mods for BB 2.4 that show %?
edit: discovered what UOT kitchen was, OMG just what I wanted. But its not running currently

Yes, that was my taskbar mod that was posted--and I "baked" it specifically for the black bar--from the UOT Kitchen. Glad you found it!
Same problem...love the mod but can't see the time and the kitchen is down.
Great mod though, just need the time to be white.

thanks for that mod! but unfortunately that clock is so dark, if you use a widget clock I could see how it wouldn't matter, but I already have calendar and weather hogging up my main screen.
back to stock BB now
to return to stock courtesy of androidforums
http://www.mediafire.com/?3ubm3dbzy222039 - return to stock
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?h4ekdjd99i23mdz - and this to give you a battery meter, works fine on bumblebee
I would go into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik-cache. Seemed to work for me
thanks, will give the battery meter a try.
Had no problems re-flashing I was already done before a reply Still had the bbrom.zip on my sd card, so just wiped and reloaded. No need to go back to a pure stock rom. Only thing new was titanium backup, which seemed to work fine. I only have a few apps, I probably could have almost re-downloaded as fast.
C'mon kitchen. I want to mess around a bit.
edit: new battery bar works great, thank you

This one uses the edify script instead of amend... if you are running into that problem.

I tried to post a link to a BBBlackNotificationbar.zip that has white clock text that once flashed would allow you to flash any black status bar you might cook in UOT's Kitchen over it,and still have the white clock text. Some rule that says I have to wait until 8 posts before I could. So go to Android Central. Optimus V,Optimus V Rooting .ROM's,and Hack's. Go to page #2 look in Change time color on status bar? Go to permalink #6. I posted said link there. I used it on several ROM's(don't need it right now I got a cool theme with the ROM I'm running)..... Man that was a lot of extra work!
Is there a way to get the AOKP battery circle icon on a CM10 rom for this phone? I am sure there is, but i cannot find anything on it. any help or advice is appreciated!

See this is why xda is the best site hands down. Ask for a mod at 2:26pm and by 2:36pm the same day, bam one of the hottest themers out responds and says no prob "What other site does this" lol
Pure awesome .

(as with anything i am not responsible if your phone
a)blows up
b)trys to kill you in your sleep
c)takes over the world and make you its slave)
so make a back up i am not running cm 10 so this is not tested!!!!!!!!!
ok on to the real stuff
i had to add in 100% battery mod for you to use those battery icons you listed and i did not change any colors
but enjoy anyway
let me know if any problems
:fingers-crossed:
ok. i will post back when i finish. thanks!
i flashed the zip, but the icon did not stick. it is still the old stock icon. i think it has to do with how cm10 allows you to change icons through the settings app. but i am not sure. any advice?
edit: nevermind! i got it! i had to go into the setting and set the "battery status style" to "icon." thank you sooo much! i love this icon!
edit2: ok, so the battery icon is stuck at 15%? my phone has 82% battery according to every other app i have, but the icon says 15% and is not changing. any ideas?

Try wiping cache and I'll look in to it maybe something with adding the 100% batt mod
Sent From My Sweet Ass EVO LTE
ok. i will try that. one second.
edit: i cleared both the cache and the dalvic cache and it did not change anything. it is still stuck at 15%.
Ok I'll be home in 5 minutes and I'll run through the mod to see if i can find the cause
Sent From My Sweet Ass EVO LTE
no need to rush. its cool.
try that one and let me know
that worked great! except it is still stuck at 15% while charging. i guess i can live with it since you have already spent enough of your time working on it. or maybe ill figure out how to do this. anyway, thank you so much!
