App Menu Swipe Left & Right - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Just wondering, on the stock rom, the application menu allows you to swipe left and right, like page by page.
My current custom rom, application menu is the default one which goes up and down.
Anyway to make it work like stock rom?

Press left button when viewing apps and change view mode

Do you know maybe how to do it on HD2?

[Q] zeam fullscreen

Help!!!!!. How do I get out of full screen zeam?
I found the flag and set and now I now longer have the battery and navigation screen on the bottom so I can no longer go back to preferences and turn full screen off. I have button savior turned on but zeam does not recognize the menu button so I am stuck. I am running on a NC version 1.1.0 with Autonooter 3.0. Please Help. I find it pretty stupid that you can't access a menu to turn off full screen.
I usually assign an up swipe to show/hide the notification bar. Can you long press on the desktop and get a preferences menu?
Nope, I assume by upswipe, you mean swiping from the bottom up but that didn't work. Tried swiping right to left and tried the long press. Nothing happens. I guess I may have to restore the data file from titanium but I was hoping to find another way to this.
Long pressing on one of your home screens should bring up a menu that has 3 options: "Add Item", "Set Wallpaper", and "Preferences". Selecting "Preferences" should bring you to the Zeam Preference menu.

Thank you. I tried the long press on the main home screen and nothing happened. I had to go to the third page and then do the long press. I guess because I have some apps and widgets running on the main screen. Anyway I got it back. Thank you for your help.

Pull down the notification bar, find the settings button at the top right.
ICS did away with the menu button, now apps have their own built-in menu button (looks like three dots, usually).

I think it's stupid how they did it. I found the menu key much more useful then the recent apps physical button. Some apps the menu key spans across the entire screen on the bottom. Not sure what they were thinkin, I'm getting used to it but holding home to bring up all your recent apps and clicking one was much better than swiping back and forth.
Go to this thread, I believe it has a mod to do what you want.

[Q]Mod menu button to Multitask botton

there were three buttoms on our phone
back home and menu
but the ics's three buttom is back home and multitask
i am wondering that can someone mod menu buttom to multitask buttom?
when i press menu and i will open multitasking screen just like original ics
and sorry for my poor engliah
Here you can see what has happend to the menu button.
There where you need it, it is a little button on the right corner or on playstore right left corner.
But the optiones are not away, in ICS you've got more options!
You still need that menu button for legacy apps, otherwise you couldn't access the menu.
Long-pressing home button still acts as a multitask button.

I'd prefer the option to use the menu button as a multitasking button, get the settings icon in proper ics apps, and long press for menu in legacy apps. Is that option available?

I'm trying to find how to change from the 4 page settings menu to the 1 long page. I've searched but can't seem to come across how to do it again.

Go to system setting, and then press the left button close to the home button and switch to List view.

Is there a back button in apps to go to the apps main page? The only way I can tell is to press the home button then re open the app.

Generally, to go back in most apps just swipe down from the top of the screen.
