Not me. So far so good. But I feel it may not last long since I swap batteries often.
My battery life is horrible cause of heavy use. I have seven batteries I swap out when drained.

Yea, I've tried all those apps, task killers, battery savers. Battery life is my least concern now since I have batteries.
My problem is connections. In high 4G areas I'm usually only getting 3g and I get a lot of no data connections.

Dayum. How do you charge all those?
Just a suggestion, see how your battery life fares if you keep your screen brightness under 25% (if you can).
I use two wall chargers. I average 3-4 batteries a day which works out well for me. I've tried the lowest setting I could possibly go with still seeing the screen, didn't seem to help much believe it or not.
Since I've gotten the backup batteries I just have it on auto brightness now.
Aside from the battery life, I'm more concerned now about the limited 4G I get and no data at all at times.
I would also think even though the battery cover is built well, I think it will wear out from all the removals.

I worry about same thing removing frequently. I found this supposedly oem but from Hong Kong. But if you look at images has contacts like the original back. Ordered and will have it in about another week or so.

Seidio has a 1600. That's the biggest i've seen, and it looks like most reviewers are finding performance similar to stock.

wow, that was nice!!!
Sadly you won't be able to get much more performance out of a stock-sized battery, the manufacturer usually fits the largest battery they can in the phone. Any third party claiming to have a higher capacity is usually lying about the specs.
I would instead focus on software tweaks, I can easily get a full day out of my stock battery with moderate use.
I don't lower any of my settings. I keep the push email. Sometimes I use Live Wallpaper. I let my device pull LTE data speeds whenever I want. With the extended battery it lasts longer than I need in a day. Other than needing to order a case I don't mind. The bulge in the back is not as bad as some people made it seem. Pros outweigh the cons for me.

app helped my battery life
I'm new here and the TB is my first Android phone. I came across an app that has helped with my battery life..... called keyboard backlight controller. It allows you to turn off the two lights that eluminate the four soft keys on the bottom of the phone. I've only been using it a couple days, but really seems to have helped by having those lights off, not HUGE diff, but anything helps.
Not sure if this was the right place to post this, but thought it might be helpful to others. It does require root.
Ok its me aging hopefully this hasn't been posted either cuz I haven't came across it....but anyway today I decided to calibrate my battery let it die out and charge while the phone is off...and this was around 5pm....I fell asleep and it is now midnight and its still charging and I know stock batteries don't need a lot of time to charge unlike extended batteries.....has anyone else come across this or does this phone need 7hrs plus of charging??

There is no need to calibrate the battery. When the phone reaches 99% charge capacity, it will take a while for it to achieve 100%. Once it achieves 100%, it will let the battery drop back down to 95% then it will begin charging back to 100%. It is a repeated process. It will keep doing this until the phone is removed from the charger.

Once you disconnect, your battery drops from 90 to 70 in a matter of minutes?

If that is the case, I would say bad battery. BUT I do remember reading that there were some Evo 3D's that suffered from the same problem, and they were also getting extremely hot. If that is the case, I suggest exchanging.

Let the phone die down to 15%, then charge it. If it drops significantly again, then we may have a problem. It could be a bad battery or an app you must have downloaded.

A smart phone is like a pocket sized computer. There can be malicious apps that can harm the phone. But if that isn't the case, I suggest hard resetting. If that still doesn't work, replace.
Edit: Try my other solutions first.

I personally had strange battery problems the first week I had the phone, and after that my battery life became quite good (I did the battery calibration technique from the og evo and it helped a lot also).
So if you're saying it's strange after a couple days I'd say give it a chance to go through a couple more charge cycles. I'd bet the issues will sort themselves out.

we all know that the battery life is crap on the amaze. It's no surprise. What I've been wondering since is why? why is it such a battery hog. In terms of CPU and ram, it's only slightly higher than the sensation and the sensation has a great battery life. I know the sensation and Amaze are completely different phones and hardware is completely different, but what makes the amaze have such a bad battery life? anyone ever able to figure this out?

So at the moment i am trying all the ways possible to increase the battery life of my S3. I run a stock rom with a siyah kernal. I use stweaks to undervolt my cpu but 100mv and have the max freq. set to 700 ghz. I also have it locked to one core.
Does any of this help increase battery life.
Any other suggestions?
Grateful for any help.

anyway why 7 batteries :/ u could bought 2zero lemon ones and enjoyed
Cause I constantly have my phone in a trident kraken case. I am well aware of the zero lemon batteries as my friend has one. But it would require serious kidding of my case to accommodate a zero lemon battery in my case. Plus the batteries were only £5 each.

and i agree with you about the case thing it becomes a tank with zero lemon since its 7000mah something but i saw someone modifying a utter defence case for it at least it looked like a cool tank
anyway with some tweaks you will get a good battery life though it all depends on how you use the phone for example if its in sleep mode it can last for 6 days on one battery but full use your looking at 6 hour on screen probably
With what I have atm I can get get 5 hours of the screen on with the cpu running flat out at 700mhz on two cores. I also have a solar charger with me so I should be fine. Do u think reducing the clock speed further will help?

Delete all your apps (especially google apps) which u don't need. Turn off account sync, this is what the most battery drains. If u are in uncovered area, turn flight mode on, steadily searching for net could cause battery drain too.

The battery has a small area cut into it to path the speaker out the bottom of the phone. It sounds pretty loud to me, but I will have to swap back to the original battery to check the difference.

does anyone know how to calibrate the battery? I feel like my battery is horribly uncalibrated on the phone :/

I have no clue but the only time I really see the percent go back up is after heavy use. I got over it by knowing how long my battery last on average.

Yep same here through my second cycle now. When it gets to 1% I power off remove battery and replace and power on to 4-15%. Normally run a battery waster app to drain. Been meaning to exercise same principle to charging but lazy about it. When I get through 5 cycles I'll probably check out one of the calibration apps. Crossing fingers...

How much more weight is it... was thinking about getting one... but would love if the had decent cases for it. Currently stock battery with the neo hybrid case.

Its pretty hefty but I've gotten used to it. I would say it triples weight and thickness of the phone. IMO peace of mind knowing my phone will always last all day no matter what I throw at it is worth it. Lol coming from a iPhone I had "battery shock".

LOL yep my stock battery and 2 extra hyperions are going to be collecting lots of dust.
This thing is a beast! This is first day after initial charge. Pretty heavy use. Stock battery would still be going as well but with only maybe 25% instead of 77%.
I did notice that my percentage actually goes up by 1% occasionally even I turn screen off. You guys get that as well?
My battery has gone from 63% to 67% in the last hour. Lol
