Hello friends, i need help and dont know what to do.
I have HTC HD 2 and before 3 months i installed WP7.
Yesterday i tryed to back wm 6.5, after formated Sd Card to FAT32 and tryed to update with official stock rom from sd card and then the phone said " update software failed try again " or something like this. After that i did hard reset and tryed again but this way from the pc and give me error again "error 264", so i don't know what to do now ,Help me plssss, i can't live without my phone ? !!!

Correct official rom? Needs to match your serial,,, more info needed, what phone what spl in bootloader, what official rom....

Hello all
Just got hold of one of these the unit starts to the screen where it says welcom to t-mobile and with a small letters in the bottem right hand corner stating G R 5.01.16 i assume that this is the rom version. I have added a pic of the screen, Apprently it will only get to this screen, ((im new to xda;s) i work with normal pda;s not the phone type sorry) Now is this the boot loader screen and if so can i use the sd card way to fix it. If not can anyone give me any ideas? many thanks. I have added a pic of the screen

Looks like you have a corrupt GSM part.

1. Download the XDA-DevelopersROM Version 1.1
2. Install the ROM on your Device via SD-Card and bootloader.
Is this mandatory? I mean, to install this special version? Or would it suffice, if one has upgraded with another ROM from lumpistefan's site?
Inhowfar differs this ROM from others?[/code]

Don´t know why, but this ROM is one of only one, that is booting complete with a malfunction GSM-part.
So i would recommend to use this.
After your system is fixed, you could change to every ROM Version....

Krischu, password is xda, that works for me anyway.
While flashing a cooked rom on my athena,my stupid pc crashed T.T;now,when i enter bootloader the device id is corrupted,there is not written athe100,but only some points;i can only read ipl and spl version.So,if i try to flash a new rom,the program cant detect the device id and it stop at 1%.There is a way to force flashing a new rom,with right id ?Help pls!
Btw the athena still boot wm6,but the first and second screen seems to be corrupted.

Have you removed your SD card before trying to flash? The 1% hang is typical with that.
yes,never had 1.The error that rom update utikity give me is:error[244]:invalid device id.I think i only need a update utility that can skip device id check...maybe someone had this problem?^

Uhm i dont have the original rom,only those i can find on this forum.Btw i think there are not big difference.The device i have should be an advantage x7500.I already tryed too flash a new rom with pc or using a sd card,but it wont work.There is a way to change my device id?For example using mtty?Or maybe there is a way to skip id check >.<?

few days back i tried to upgrade windows version to WM2003 SE but coz of sum reason upgrading failed inbetween and now my XDA showing same thing as said above...... "SERIAL V1.03" on the screen.
im not very much familier abut this all i hv few questions...
1) Will my phone get well again?
2) Is my mobile in bootloader mode?
3) How to turn it in normal mode again?

See my post about Telstra firstly. I've had a bit of experience in this situation, I found that the only way I could get it out of bootloader mode was to install the proper ROM for my phone, i.e. the special Telsta BS ROM. You may have a similar issue and will need to find the latest ROM from XDA's web site?
well i was trying to flash new room wm6.1 on my startrek when at 30% the windows os prompted a blue screen! then i have a startrek bricked what can i do i just can see a boot screen..

hello there, i have a Mozart which is a prototype.its bootloader version is 0.99.2250.6(106123). i have tried endlessly to change the bootloader serveral time s so that i can istall a custom room but yet stil i cant. Can anyone please help me on how to go about it, thanks very much....

I am also a rookie
As I know, if want to install a custom rom, have to downgrade the SPL from 5.xx to 1.xx, more details you could find from the forum.

Have you try to flash your phone using a gold card and entering usb host mode?
