I heard there is a new update for this app, however i can't seem to find it on the market. Is anyone having this problem?
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
It showed up as an update for me this morning.
I can't find it on the market though! :/
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
I got it a couple days ago... Have your other apps been updating normally? Did you try reboot?
What kinds of mods do you have installed or whatever?
Not in my market either
Yup, not there for me doing a search on computer, and when I select it from "my apps" in market on phone where it shows as installed, I get "the requested item could not be found".
Probably pulled for some kind of major fix/overhaul/legal issue or something.
Weird, I just searched for it and it is not in the market app, nor in the web marketplace. It updated ok for me though.
Something is fishy
It's not in my market either
I'm pissed I really want it

For enough money, I can get "it" for you!
I think its called score center
ScoreMobile
Forget about ESPN app. Go get ScoreMobile. Much better real time information and lots of personalization options. Very clean, easy to read interface compared to any sports app on the market.
It's called watchESPN. I am running the cm7 beta and I have it.

Anyone else having problems updating apps via the new market?
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
I thought I was. Not sure if this is normal but my version of the market only downloads 1 app at a time. I thought it wasn't working when I lined up a bunch, but that's just normal now I guess. Is that the problem your having?
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
Well mine says there is an update available but when I click into the app to update the only options given are open and uninstall
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
It looks like they updating one app at the time like iPhone been doing for a while to make sure there is not problems at all, myself I went back to the old market it works great is just missing some items that the new one has
If you don't have an Evo3d well you don't have an Evo3d
Try this:
Open market. Menu << My apps.
Where it shows the apps that need updated, click on the refresh icon that has # apps next to it
That's how I did it, and it worked.
It still only does one at a time though.
No refresh button next to number of apps. I think I'm just going back to old market
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
I have that exact problem too mrdiaz. It says afn update is available but when I actually click on it to update there was no option to update. I woyld just wait a couple days though then it would eventually let me update it.
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
Hey guys I like the new market but I hate that when you look something up it will say like 400 results but only shows me like 20. With the old market it would show all of the results. I've already reinstall the old market but was wondering if it's like this for everyone. Or what I could do to get the market to show all of the results to my searches?
Just click on the header.
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
Yeah. Doesn't show all the apps says 956 results but only see like 15
Proud New dad. Oh yeah is a BOY!!!
This is a known issue with the current market and it's not exclusive to the thunderbolt. There are reports open on it and google says they're working on it.

Care to explain what it is? Some kind of jar reader?
It is a new app store competing against the android and amazon markets. It has alot of free apps. But it is not a hacker site or app. I downloaded the app after reading about it from android central or Droid life or one of those. You have to download it from the website like you had to with the amazon store. It is legit but I think the apps are the phone apps but of course we know some of them work on tablets. So far I have downloaded backbreaker but it was messed up and splashtop which worked. I also got beautiful widgets for free. I read a little bit about how the apps developers get paid and it is completely legit. Took me a minute to figure out how to download the app.

Nobody else using this app store? All apps are free, I figured all the amazon app of the day peeps would love this.

Did you go to the Mobile site to download the app? I think it was m.getjar.com
Then you have to add in the security code
Sent from xda premium app
When I go to m.getjar.com it just redirects back to the regular site www.getjar.com
Yeah, I had that problem too using dolphin for pad, I have the setting on desktop so the mobile site wouldn't load. Had to use stock browser to get the app. I guess I could have just changed the setting. Make sure you access the quick download at bottom of the page and put in security code that they give you.

I hate getjar - it's hard to use (download apps) and hard to publish apps (the have ridiculous adding process, and resolution requirements).
Once I figured out how to get the app, downloading apps is no harder then the market or Amazon's store. The app has it's own installer as well.

I am using getjar app. Already downloaded some apps for free.
I have a question though. This getjar app is running in the startup. And startup managers are not able to kill it.
Any idea to remove it from running at startup?

I tried this out. It was alright. Not that many of the Gold apps or whatever they're called interested me though. Maybe in the future if they get some more...

This is what is stopping me from using this service, just dont know why it would need to launch at startup?
I wouldn't have downloaded it, but I read enough about it from legitimate news sources that I figured it was legit.

the app is called clipfish. its a german app i believe. id like to listen and watch to music and videos from another country and this app seems right up my Alley.
if anyone could help that'd be great!
I'm not sure but if copyright of this App is ON maybe you can't install it, anyway search for "MarketEnabler" application in the market. (I can't post link's because I'm new and I need at least 8 post's)
I personally never try it but i read a good stuff for it.
I found it when i search for a same problem with my app in the market, but my issue was that it was filtered for the developer device and i didn't check it.

Just read the comments for that enabler app. Some people are saying that it doesn't work with market v3.2 which is what I'm using. So I'll wait and see if it gets updated.

Is the app perhaps available on other markets? I know AndroidPit and AndroidTapp are both making their own, there was another one too, they are springing up all over the place.
What app is it out of interest?
All the best,
Ash

I am rooted. It still doesn't work for me. I've tried to use it in as many variations as I can think.
I'm thinking since it is a German app for German music, videos, etc. That its all copyrighted specifically to Germany. Which makes me sad.

I am rooted and running stock GB. All of a sudden, my Market App disappeared. To fix the problem, I downloaded and installed Market_3.4.4; however, the icon does not appear in my "Applications". Any help would be appreciated.
I'm going take guess and say that you are looking for Google Play. I'm assuming your market dissapeared because it updated to the new "market". I could be wrong though.

That would be because the market no longer exists under that name. It is now the Google Play Store. Search for the Play Store app.
You guys, and gals, always come through. Thanks for your help.
This. Is absolutely hilarious. You know when it updates it even pops a screen up and asks u to click to continue? So instead of googling any kind of answer your first thought was "omfg my market! I should post about this! Who need to search when i can have other people do it for me! scoooore !"
