Curious how long its taking everybody to reach 100% charge... Once mine reaches 92% it takes forever if at all
Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk
I'm charging mine the first time while the phone is turned off, it's been charging for about an hour so far!
Hey Starkillers,
When it gets to 100%, that's how long it takes. LOL!

Sent from my og EVO because my SHOOTER is to fast for mere forum talk lol
Mine took several hours to fully charge.
I'm on 2.5 hours right now from 15%. PRAYING its done soon. I just got it @ 8:15 this morning and this is the longest I have been with out it so far. May sleep closer to it tonight than I do my wife. JUST KIDDING! I know I will.

What's the average battery life for everyone
Sent from my Xoom using XDA Premium App
About 7 hours for me. I'm planning to buy an extended battery . I always have to check my Facebook and twitter every hour and send about 400 texts a day and run Google music. In pretty sure if I was using my sister's evo it would only last me 5 hours lol.

So it is better then the evo?
Anybody know about vs the photon
Sent from my Xoom using XDA Premium App
Yes it better than the Evo not by much but I'm sure that the Devs will cook some kernals up for the 3d to improve battery life a bit more. I'm not sure about the photon, but I know that the photon has a slightly smaller battery, 1500mah I believe. But it's not size that matters, it's how you use it.
On my ROM, I get about 19 hours of moderate usage.

I was looking through the dev section and saw that. Im going to wait a month before rooting, to make sure I don't have any hw issues, and to wait for an easier/ more stable root

If you're not worried about how big your phone is just get a seidio super extended battery. I got the biggest one they make for the Evo 3D, 4000mHa, and it lasts about two days and I'm a pretty heavy user. Even if you are a heavy multimedia user the 4000mHa will last you all day no problem.

Never really counted the hours I use it honestly...but right now I'm on 17 hours with 35% and the awake time shows about 8 hours. Obviously that's not all screen-on time...but prob like 5-6 is.

Mine shows 12hrs up time with 3.5hrs awake time and still has 60% battery left on stock ROM. I guess I would call it light to moderate use. I should be within that range by the end of the night.

It will take 4-5 full recharge cycles to hit full capacity. The graph you show is fine. How much battery life were you expecting? 12-14 hours would seem about right.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using XDA App
When i first got mine, my battery seemed to drop like 2% like every 5 minutes the phone on and I was just browsing forums.
I think it will get better once u break in the battery more.

with that math you'd be getting around 16 hours with 4 or so hours of onscreen time. I don't see a problem at all with that battery life.

I used 40% of my battery in 7 hours of playing with my phone. So far I'm very pleased

Remember if anyone's like me you can't put the phone down right now, using it like crazy! It will be better after a few charge cycles. Be patient folks. Give it a few days before starting to freak! Enjoy the new hardware already!
Are you guys charging fully before first use or taking out of box booting using and letting it drain? Does it matter never been able to get a good answer.

Mine goes right out of the box and booted and I start playing. A charger or outlet is always handy by me so why wait for it to charge?
I am not going to be concerned with battery life at all... I'm currently coming from the HTC Vivid and comparing the two tests between the phones from Engadget, I'm happy...
HTV Vivid - "In our formal battery rundown test, the Vivid held its charge for a paltry five hours and ten minutes."
AT&T Note - "...with the phone managing eight hours and eight minutes on our standard rundown test in an HSPA+ area."
I've been using my Note heavily for about 11.5 hours today and still have 29% battery life left. I've been watching videos, playing a game or two, tracking the snow that is forecast for my area and my normal texts, email, twitter and Facebook. My Inspire wouldn't last this long with moderate use. I'm pleased with the Note's battery life, but I'm not in an LTE area if that matters much.
no *****in about battery life for at least a few days if not a week... it will not stabilize until the phone has been charged up and drained several times. case in point, i took it right out the box and started using it. started at about 50% battery life and was dead in an hour. charged it up last night and been using it for the last 6 hours pretty heavily and its still at 77%.
it will only get better, be patient my atrix was just as bad out of the box.
Do not expect the same gas mileage as civic from your lamborghini.

hmmm...
after a full day i have about 13 to 20% battery life left..
You guys are judging way too quick. Let the battery settle in and then after a week you still get the same battery life then by all means complain away. When I say you guys I mean the OP and anyone that agrees with him

I can easly make 28 hrs.just phone text and web.no movies or games.first few days dont charge unless almost dead.
How long does it take your tab 10.1 to charge to full from dead? For me its damn near 5-6 hours. That seems an awful long time.

Seems relatively quick to me. Especially quick if it's not completely powered off during the re-charge.
Sent from my GT-P7510 using XDA Premium HD app
Roughly the same here, 5-6hrs, I won't complain about it because the tablet itself has alot to display and process, dual core tablet's usually have quite the stress load on them. Especially since if its a 3G series the tablet drains the battery faster so they need to put more POWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRR!
4.5 to 5 hours for a complete charge for me.
me its pretty fast also, anyway i charge it everyday when i go to bed and i rarely fully discharge it

Anyone else experiencing this? I'm charging my phone via wall adapter and that it stays at 99 percent and the led never turns green.
Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
That last percent of charge from 99 to 100 seems to take a lot longer for my phone than any other 1 percent of charge but it eventually does get to 100%.
Ditto, that. The last 1% does seem to take a while.

Too bad it doesn't take as long to use up that first 1%. I was hoping to be at 100% for a while when going uplugged.
First time I charged it took a few hours to get to 100%. Since then it doesn't take as long but it's still quite a while. Let it sit, it'll eventually get to 100
i have the same reply as everybody else that last 1% does seem to take significantly longer. not to worry this seems to be the norm
Alright, well we've seen the battery thread where people have gotten 2 days on their batteries. Let's see who has the worst performing battery stats. You know, u use the phone til it dies being on xda, chrome, or dead trigger.
No damaged batteries please. Worst time, I buy u a sprite/beer. I will start.

I'll get a screenshot when I get a chance, wifi I can go about 5 hours non stop, about 4 hours on 3g depends what I'm doing, dead trigger eats my battery like crazy though, I'm betting 3 hours or less but I'm curious, gonna find out.
Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
On stock 30 minutes of dead trigger kills like 25% battery and on CM10 its like my battery is being chugged rather than sipped, I was expecting it to be the other way around lol
