say for example.. while typing on this forum.. your keyboard twitches and you accidentally delete some words... is there a way to undo, so you get those words or sentence back like in Windows or OSX? also is there a ctrl+F like feature to search for words on the current page?
i don't know about undo, but if you hit menu, more, then find on page, well you get it.

Okay, I'm fairly new around here, I haven't really posted anything, but i've been checking up on stuff for my phone and everything, I just have one question. I have the rom Nonsensikal. How can I get the keyboard from KaosFroyo V36 onto my Nonsensikal rom?
I know there is a few threads, but I would like to hear it again on this one, I would also like to change the keyboard. I know your supposed to download the keyboard you want, and on most 2.1 roms you have to change the keyboard apk to lLatinIME.apk i believe
Yeah, I'm just not sure how to go about downloading the one I want? Or, even putting it on my rom?
it really depends on what keyboard...if your are just adding one like swype or any other keyboard from the market you just install it like any other app and then go in settings/keyboard and check the box to enable it. Then long press on a text input area such as an email or any where you would type and it will bring up an option for input method where you can choose the keyboard you want to use. If you want to use the droidx keyboard or another "hacked keyboard" then there should be instructions in the thread where you get it for installing it.

Okay, Maybe you can help me out here then. Which keyboard is used in KaosFoyo V36? because that's the keyboard I want. and when I looked at the droidX keyboard. all it says is push it to "location" but how do I do that?

about 4 posts down, there is a flashable .zip you can use rom manager to flash. Once your phone boots back up, long press in the box you type, and select multi-touch for the imput method.
droidx-signed.zip i beleive is the name of the file.
Further along in the post is a grey type version, though i have not been able to get that one to work, aborts install and FC's on my constantly.. so I am just sticking with the white one.

Anyone else out there finding that there is no way to save bookmarks in the stock browser? I am using quick controls and it used to be on the first transformer that you could hit the bookmark key and it would bring up a screen asking you to save/rename/etc. but on this current version it just takes you to bookmarks you already had saved. No option to save new ones...

You're not the only one. But since the quick access is an experimental feature little attention is given to it.
The only way you can save a bookmark in the current stock browser version, and with quick controls activated, is by retyping the URL, wait till the page starts loading and before the URL bar disappears tap the "star" symbol to save bookmark.
As you have already noticed bringing back the URL bar does not give you the option to save a bookmark - the "star" symbol is replaced with an "X" to cancel the whole URL string. At least this is the only way I have found to save bookmarks ...
Wow how inconvenient! Thanks so much for the tip!

Ok ok what's the ****ing trick to bookmarking a page your on in the stock browser... I admit I've never figured it out.
Only cryptic way I have found is to visit your History and hit the star next to the url... is this really how they want it done or am I missing a faster way that is 10x more logical & quick

When a website is open, hit the star on the right side...it will open a drop down panel, allowing you to change the label, and on the bottom line allow you to bookmark it to "home screen"/bookmarks/other folder.
To active a saved bookmark, click on the right most "banner". It will open a page with all your saved bookmarks.

Hi,
since when I updated to ICS my Xperia keeps learning every word I write and that's very annoying because it learns words with spelling mistakes etc. In GB I found an option that made the keyboard not learn the "new" words I wrote but I can't find this option on ICS. What can I do?

Setting it's there I had this problem too, but it's there! I don't have English ICS but I'll try to translate it by my way.....
Settings / Language and Input / Keyboard Xperia (click icon on right side) / Text Input Settings / Words prediction / here apply the last button like "I don't want any help during typing"
I use Slovak language so that's why my titles could be little bit different...
Thank you but that's not what I meant... I want to be helped a little (in italian there are some "special" letters the phone replaces automatically) but I don't want the phone to learn new words... However, thank you
well.. if you see that you typed your word wrong, then just use the enter key, NEVER tap words you dont want in your dictionary.
I would also like to have this feature back on my Xperia P.

Hello I have by one day the Nexus 10 is amazing just I have maybe an easy questions but Maybe you k o:
1.-I have an amazon kindle and it has a search button to look for applications installed inside the device and easily you can find anything if you have tons of apps. Now the question in Nexus 10 is there a way to search for applications installed inside the device? I tried to use the search options but all jump me to google in internet not inside the device. And I ask because try to find applications via icons wjen you have so many is very hard.
2.-Someone can suggest me good themes animated or non animated to look for or buy?
Thank you
field3d,
Just by tapping the icon, that looks like a circle with a grid of 6 small squares, you will bring up a full screen of app icons (likely multiple pages worth) in one tab "Apps" and the other tab "widgets". Collectively those two tabs display are all the software apps you have installed on your tablet.
Also start the Google Play store app and from there you can tap the icon with a down arrow ending in a short line (top right side) and it will display a screen with two tabs "Installed" and "All". The "Install" list of apps are all the software you installed from the Google Play store.
Thank you for answer.

Thank you for answer. I did what you said but really I mean a search button or maybe one application to look for specific apps inside all I have installed, because I see all the apps but going between pages and icons I'm lost trying to find for specific application. Any way to search for a specific app in Nexus 10. For example the iPad, iPhone or in general iOs if you press twice the home appears a search to look for a specific application to avoid go between pages and lost. The kindle in the main post I said has similar, it has a little search applicatin and with that application you can find an app easily and avoid to read pages and pages an icons. Is there a way similar than that in Nexus 10?
Note: The search application in Nexus 10 only redirects me to web and find on google for Internet topics, this is different of what I want like you see.
Any suggestion?
Thank you

I love, Is what I needed.
This may be a dumb question, but coming from the Inc2 and its Gingerbread/Sense 2.1 keyboard (which I like a ton more than this one, mind you). How the hell do you add words it doesn't know to its dictionary on a whim? On my aforementioned Inc2, I could just press the red-underlined word and it would auto-add it to the dictionary. I notice I can highlight it but all this stuff comes up and no seems to just add it to the dictionary so I don't have to keep redoing it over and over again.
