Recently I updated to the ED04 radio using the instructions in the thread found in the development section and then I proceeded to flash UKB 2.0 and yesterday 2.1. Somewhere in the process the stock calendar application began to force close whenever I open it saying that the calendar storage has unexpectedley closed (process.com.android.calendarstorage- its something like that) and I can't get into the calendar and it will sometimes force close when im not even attempting to open it. So my question is does anyone know of a way to fix this issue? I have been deleting tthings from my sd card and I thought that maybe I had accidentally deleted something I shouldn't have but I just can't seem to.figure it out. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try changing the notification sound to something else.
I just tried to download a third party calendar from the market and it won't even let me open that and it continues to force close saying the application calendar storage has stopped unexpectedly. the only thing I can think is that maybe I accidentally deleted the the calendar files that are necessary to use a calendar in root explorer. does anyone know how I could reinstall those applications or files or whatever it is that I need to use a calendar.

I got rid of my force close issues with various apps on this rom by uninstalling them using Titanium Backup, rebooting, then reinstalling from the market. The rom has facebook in /system/app and Titanium Backup will get rid of that so the market will put it in /data/app. For some reason, at least for me, several of the apps in the /system/app folder would force close on me (gmail, youtube, facebook, google search, and voice search)
Thx dude...

Well I've searched everywhere but I still haven't found a way to clear my app history. Yes, if go to manage apps and clear data/cache from the market app, it does clear it from the phone, but when I log in to the market from my desktop browser and go to 'My Market Account', I still see a huge list of every app I have ever downloaded and installed.
Someone please tell me how to clear this list so that it only shows apps that are currently installed on my phone.
UPDATE: I just realized that not all my apps are listed under 'My Orders' on my desktop browser. It's very weird if you ask me. I thought it lists every app I've ever downloaded but it randomly leaves out apps and I can't make any sense of it. Some help would be much appreciated!
You can use app "root toolbox" in this app u can do that

When I open Android market on pc and go to my app, it shows all those app I have uninstalled as Installed. Why so.
If you've recently changed or flashed roms, Android market isn't going to know that, but you're still able to send apps to your device by clicking on 'Installed' and sending it to the appropriate device, just make sure you have your device connected to Wifi with background data enabled... Be sure to thank me if my post has helped you
No, He doesnt mean that. I guess google never deletes downloaded apps history even after they are removed from our device. I myself would like to know if there's any way I can reset my a/c and delete all downloaded app history

Wiping cache wont work. Closing the app wont work. You need to remove the google account from settings>account and sync. Then just open google play and it will ask you to login. Just login and you wont face the error ever again.

Tried to remove the account. It is saying that account is used by some app and cant be removed. I have to do factory reset to remove account. I dont want to do that. Any other way?
One more thing I want to ask. When I tried to remove account it also say that removing account will remove all contacts, messages and other data from phone. Is it true?

Hope this helps
Checked the net - there are LOADS of people having this issue, regardless of ROM being used - it seems to be something with Google Play itself. I saw a few different solutions being offered but none of them were being reported as being a definitive fix.
For me, it started with newly installed apps I had just paid for not showing up on the device - no icon, no entry to create a shortcut with the shell (in my case ADW Pro on ICS 4.0.4 stock, deodexed, rooted VZW Nexus). Strangely enough, when you went to the entry in Play, it showed as installed and you could actually open it from there. I got around this by creating an ADW launcher action - the entry for the actions DID show for the program.... go figure?
I tried clearing the cache and data on Play and rebooting. All that got me was no apps at all showing on the installed section for awhile until it updated. Then I was able to update one app, but still had the sam trouble with the original update that was causing the 403 errors.
Don't think there's any solution out there that truly works for anyone. We're going to have to let Google fix this one, but we should let them know - I already posted one bug report; the more of us that do so will put the isue on the front burner.

If you do a factory reset, all the data will be deleted. However if you remove the google account, the contacts synced with your google account will be shown again in the contacts list once you add the account again.
Faktory reset isn't the right way. I already did it.

What worked for me
Ok so after racking my brain with this issue I found the app I was trying to install / update (which was swiftkey x in this case) was purchased under my other email i used when Google Play was Android Market. So what I did was open up Google Play and for my HTC EVO 4G hit the menu button which allowed me to choose an alternate Google account. I originally purchased and installed my Swiftkey X on a different account than my Google Play was currently on. I picked the account I originally purchased Swiftkey X on, then did a search in which stated purchased, hit update and WAAAAAAAAAAAAA LAAAAAAAAAA!! no more error (403). Hope this helps. Seems like for purchased apps and maybe others Google will look to see which original account you installed it under. So if you were like me and started with one email account and changed it for one reason or another you will have to use whatever account the application was installed under in Google Play / Android Market for updates.
[side note] If you do not see your Google Account listed under Google Play account options. Ensure you have your phone setup for Syncing that particular Gmail account or else you will have to set that up first before proceeding.

nah... sorry, but I'm using my account for years now... never changed it in any way.
BTW, is this a form of copy protection? Does it happen on unrootet phones with original software, or only with rooted special deliveries like MIUI, Cyanogen mod... etc.?!
guys CMIIW error 403 is a problem with proxy my sugestions is try restore the old default apn and clear the proxy in setting save and reboot hope it will work
Hi, has anyone else all of sudden have a Facebook (Build 140579) download bar on their notification bar that will not go away even after a reboot? Its been apparently tying to download for the past couple hours and its not coming from the Google store since its not updating from there.
hey me too!! found this thread on google... I don't know what this facebook download is.
I tried closing apps like facebook, google store, browser.. everything. Still there.
Here's a list of my running apps:
whatsapp, viber, wssynclnps, software update, settings, MAPServiceSamsung, GoogleServices, Media, Remote Controls, Maps, Google Play Store, S Suggest, Email, SecPhone, Simple Alarm clock, Stock Daemon(EUR), S Voice, Swype Beta 1.4
Tried closing most of them but can't get rid of it. I tried disabling mobile data, nothing. Even tried to uninstall facebook (don't use it tbh), nothing.
Galaxy S3 here.
ok, found more info:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2189262
it appears you can tap and hold the notification and then click app info, it's the Download Manager process. If you clear data and force stop, the weird facebook notification will disappear for good.
Thanks, did just that and it went away. Hopefully for good since my battery was getting drained faster trying to download nothing.

Same problem here
i'm on a galaxy nexus and am experiencing the same thing. restarting doesn't work, and force closing the download manager only temporarily stops the problem.
EDIT: what seemed to work for me was to go to long press for app info clear data and then force stop the download manager. hasn't come back... yet
Happening on Verizon HTC Rezound with Android 4.0.3. Rebooted, uninstalled Facebook updates (can't uninstall the original version), reinstalled updates - no change. Long pressing it does nothing.

Facepage 140579 download
I finally killed this by pest using the download manager in Settings>Applications>All>Download Manager and stopping the process.
Long pressing the notification didn't work.
Be interesting to know what or who has caused this"bug" and if it was malicious in any way
