I don't really understand anything about video recording. I was just wondering if there was any way to increase the frame rate in low light conditions??

how to achieve continuous 30fps recording for video in low light? This seemed to be a problem with HTC devices and on CM custom roms for other devices. In my experience, only Samsung provides continuous 30fps video recording out of the box in low light.
The frame rate drops in low light to about 16fps. I tried with third party apps such as snap camera.
Any solution for this? I want footage to be recorded at stable 30fps even in low light.
P.S. I am on MIUI 6.9.29 stock rom
When changing the option of video quality from full HD 30fps to full HD 60 fps the video gets darker and when indours it is not well lit the video is crap. Does this happen to anyone else and is there a way to solve this issue?
video call in low light situation is painful when my Gnex has no front flash. is there any app or mod to adjust the exposure level in video call.?
I did not find any app which helps you to adjust exposure in video calls. The only way is you can adjust the webcam video setting properly to get better video results. When you are using Skype for video calling, then you go to Tools>Options>Video Settings. In video setting you have an option to watch video preview and adjust color, brightness, exposure and other elements.
I think many users will really appreciate it
Video quality in video calls are very low
Does anyone know if it is possible to record video with the LG G5 at a frame rate of exactly 60fps. When I capture at 60fps with this phone I get an actual frame rate of 59.45fps and this causes some judder when viewed on a 60hz display. I'm using Android version 7.0.
What I mean is ... let's say I am using Skype for a video call. At the moment of connecting to the camera, what is the way it does this? What code is used? What part of the camera is accessed? When I open the camera app of the device, and trigger between photo/video - I get 2 absolutely different images of the preview ( the viewfinder ). The photo preview is on a low fps, if there is enough light, if I reduce the brighness, the preview fps gets smoother.
But when I swicth to video , I get a very clear image, with a high fps, little noisy and clear. Though, the preview of the photo camera is blury ( noise reducted ) and low on frame rate.
So, the calls in Skype has the exactly same image type like the photo preview, blury and fps low.
Is there any way to drive Skype using the camera type of the video viewfinder? It is a very huge difference in quality, and it is very weird, video calling apps use the worst part of the camera, when there's actually obvious the sensor is a high end one, showing it actually can offer a good quality of the image ( while in video mode ).
Please help, I want to try to develope something related to this. How does an app choose how to use phone's camera?
