How to change the font? - HTC EVO 3D

Anyone know how to change the font I want to see things bigger!

I could be wrong but I believe you have to be rooted to do that.

I'm pretty sure the little blue pill will give you root....

Unfortunately with HTC that's true...only with a rooted device. Text is smaller on 3D...wish it was slightly larger myself.

Because the blacks look grey(mainly the dock)and if u compared it to a good display u would notice the difference.

The manufacturer really doesn't tell you wether its good or bad ,if your rooted u can check in fast boot, also check out the thread, plenty of people have exchanged their phones because of this issue. I was lucky and had the good display out of box.

oh ok. yeah i hate rooting this phone. its the worst phone i have ever owned to root. its a pain to get it back to stock so i can receive ota updates. the vibrant was way easy to root and unroot vs this phone lol. so im gonna keep it stock. it would be nice if someone would make an app in the market that we can download and see what screens we got. but my phone doesnt look washed out when i selected the same theme as they did in the video. mine looked more black then faded. but im not gonna complain the screen is good enough for me. i love this phone and im glad i got rid of that crappy vibrant.
Hey can u take a picture of the lock screen with the safari wallpaper, you have to take the picture at the same angle as the pictures on your first post and with brightness at max,I can then tell u which display u have, believe me their is a huge difference between the displays. This is a great phone and I would like the best out of it considering I payed retail .

How do I edit the text I in the notification pull down? Like where it would say verizon wireless? I saw a screen shot in Homescreen thread of some one putting there name there and thought it would be cool to do

Yeah, I can understand changing it from Verizon Wireless. But with the greatness of KangBang 2.0, why would anyone want to change it from TSM?
TSM FTW!
Just my opinion though

Touchscreen recovery! Gonna save some hardware buttons at the least.

its more than its just touchscreen.. you can craft entire themes around it now you can literally make it look like how you want. plus you can have zips that display all sorts of cool **** when they install
but IMO the biggest thing is there is a live console output on every screen.. so should something not work while flashing etc then you can see more then just "status 7 ERROR!!!!"

[Request] TWRP 2.1 Theme

Since it's just XML... is it possible for one of the very talented devs here to make a Rezound TWRP 2.1 theme? I was hoping for one that looked... well like Rezound stuff... you know, red icons that matched our physical and red text and buttons and such. Maybe something less... sharp than the default theme?
+1

[Mod] Increase Max Brightness

WARNING:
Using this mod may decrease battery life, decrease screen life and/or quality, cause overheating, cause your phone to blow up or cause other damage to your phone. Use at your own risk. I am not responsible for any damage this mod causes to your phone.
This Mod will increase the max brightness of your phone by about 10%.
Note:
Auto Brightness must be turned off for this to work.
Root is required for this Mod.
Instructions:
Download and run app attached to this post.
Or. ..
echo 1 > /sys/class/backlight/panel/auto_brightness
If you reboot or enable auto brightness you have to run it again.
The best way to tell if it worked would be to run it when your screen is already at full brightness. You'll see it go a bit brighter.
Tested on T-Mobile Note II, but this may work in many Samsung Galaxy phones.
Sweet, now I pretty much have no excuse not to get this phone. This is seriously sweet.
Just an inquiry, but do you know if color temperature or gamma control is modifiable via kernel, app, or other means?
Also, where is the enthusiastic community response?

Nobody has the device yet...I think most are holding off to see what the skinny is on the bootloader. Also this is a nice mod but far from original development...needs moved to the other dev section and it will probably get more traffic.
works as advertised on Sprint note 2...would prefer something more automatic/not app dependent to be honest but great nonetheless
