I had the problem of wifi in phone getting stuck at "obtaining ip address....." and then failing to connect and getting disabled.Restarts scan.process goes on the same without success.fxr wifi fix didn't work for me .In custom mod rom there is regulatory domain.But in official roms there is no such option.To fix this issue in official rom enable the use static ip and fill out the necessary ip address dns netmask.everything is easily available with your technical operator or check your adapter properties in alternate configuration

Are you rooted?
If so use WiFi Tether or Barnacle.
i use motorola razr maxx stock ICS. When i try to connect with WIFI EAP authentication method, there is no option to change the protocol like PEAP,TLS,TTLS,SIM. So i can't connect to wifi AP. How to setting the authentication method? i try to use wifi advance tool download from playstore. set the protocol, user and password but still doesn't work, it seems the application not change anything. Is there anyway to setting the protocol without rooting the device? i afraid warranty will void if i root it, i heard motorola install monitoring app in recovery that can be notice if device has been root.
Using foxhound rom I can connect to my secure network at home and at work i can connect to an open network but at work i can't connect to two secured networks that i am allowed to connect to....it says obtaining ip address then says secured, saved....if I load the stock rom I can connect to the work secured networks with no problem......any ideas?....I've read about this problem but not this specific

After flashing some ROM's I've lost my WLAN MAC Address. I know the address, but the phone just shows 02:00:00:00:00:00 under the WiFi Settings.
Bluetooth and mobile network are working fine. I flashed 6.9.22 via fastboot on the phone but that didn't worked.
Can anybody tell me where I can set the MAC Address manually or fixing it? The original MAC address is still shown under /sys/devices/soc.0/a000000.qcom,wcnss-wlan/wcnss_mac_addr

Same issue in here, After Flash Rom Global Dev 6.9.15 by fastboot then update OTA to 6.9.22 my wlan can't turn on, mac address & ip has lost, and 1 more issue is, my microphone didn't active for outgoing call, my phone has lost the main job!! "Telephone"

Hello, I am rajanish again. May be my phone efs file is broken, it shows no IP address , wifi mac address and bluetooth even no imei available, how can i resolve this.. I even tried flashing fastboot rom through mi flash.. nothing works. if you have any solution, let me know. i will look forward to you.
