ok guys its a must have since htc havent upgraded the sense to 2.0 ive just come from iphone 4 with a flipping clock and animated weather with slate it was realy nice now i want it for my legend i hear that sense 2.0 rom will come in future from the legend rom cooks, if it exists point in in the right direction if not it sure can be done just editing he rosie and htc resources apk's thnx
huh, am i reading the date right on this post or something, 3 is the most recent one, honeycomb or whaever
he is talking about htc sense 2.0
not about the android version...
Is there any chance that any of us get a port or a clone of Sense 3.0? I feel that Sense 2.1 is awesome but I like getting cutting edge software !
Be patient. Secondly, you're posting a question is the development section, which is not the way.
Sense 3.0 is only available in 960x540 and 800x480 resolutions. Virtually impossible to fix this.
Also Sense 3.0 is way to CPU/RAM intensive for Aria. What's the point of pretty UI if you feel so infuriated by the lag that you want to throw the phone against the wall?
A better question to ask is Gingerbread Sense 2.1 (based on Wildfire S, HVGA, for instance). And I think this is very possible. I may work on this once summer starts if nobody else has so far.
Sense 2.1 would be nice to have. Or even a messages app fix so I can like my sense roms

Hi guys, do you guys think that porting sense ui of the HTC flyer to the touchpad is possible?
ive already looked into it, and the flyer would not work too well due to the chipset and the resolution. the Jetstream is more appropriate, but would be a ***** to port and would still require res adjustments, but not as bad as the flyer.
also, there still isnt a decryped pucinni (jetstream) rom available for us to muck about with, but if an eager dev/team want to REALLY get their hands dirty, the flyer rom would work eventually
have fun porting over HTC's frameworks to a non HTC device.

You say that like it's just short of impossible. The Nexus One has some great sense ports. I'm sure many other phones have as well. It's a lot of work, but very doable.
thast what i was sayin, it CAN be done, but man what a job that would be, it would definately need an experienced team that can handle disassembling HTC frameworks, and mass res adjustments
i DO love HTC software (sense ftw), but i can live with only having it on my sensation and not my TP

who manufactures the nexus one....... HTC
I was in the original group trying to bring sense to the Galaxy S series.
I never said it was impossible.
I just said have fun.
how similar are the touchpad's insides to the jetstream...i know the processor is the same and the display is obviously not the same.
Of course the other problem is developers need touchpads more than newbies like me who're interested in enjoying the spoils of their work (to put it bluntly), BUT it'd be great to see a nice glossy look sense ROM along with this glossy fingerprint mess case
I really miss the classy looking dock of the old sense, but i dont think i would ever go back to gingerbread just for that. Is there anyone out there that can port this dock to the newer sense 3.6 and 4.+ roms, or is this too much trouble for such a small idea? Thanks in advance for any consideration.
I am tempted to create sort of nostalgic looking rom with either sense 2.1 or sense 4 for Htc one max questions is can it actually be done as of can phone run sense version that it never had or am i just gonna waste my time would be nice if few devs could shine some light on my case
