unless theres a backup in app i think your just going to have to back it up manually onto paper or computer?

Thank you, yup, but some backup application can not backup notes and widget, and from pc can't to i think, i do not know how to backup the widget and the notes....TT_TT

I (hope I) clarified the question in the cyanogenmod wiki page concerning installing CM on this device, nicknamed "mimmi" (sorry, I still can't post external links), under the "Backing up the notes" section.

found an apk name E10 and it doesn't work with the mini pro.
or do someone no an alternative software to open the *.sbf file from Backup&Restore?
ich have the gingerbread rom, and with opera or dolphin browser i cannot install the app from m.sonyericsson.com/backup.

I installed minicm7 (gingerbread) and now I discover that backup and restore don´t work.
I have a x10mini and if you can enlighten-me how you put backup and restore working in gingerbread, or a way to restore the data inside the .sbf I really appreciate.
Realise that bumping this after 6 months is unlikely to help, but I also need back up and restore for an x10 mini pro.

Usually i save my contacts on my PC using kies (export and backup) but you also can sync your contacts with your Google account...
Or uae go contacts and make a backup

Just go to contacts, options key, sync-contacts ( wi-fi needed )... Icon will appear indicating it's syncing.. after it's finished, flash new rom, open contacts again, and sync again... all contacts back
Oh thank you all for replying! Was a bit worried about using kies because I was afraid that a custom rom might not be able to work with kies. ( like cm7 etc etc ) But thanks! Will try those methods out

I'm new to android and have a query. I want to factory reset my phone. I have backed up all the apps using app back & restore and thus have all the apks saved. I want to know that if I restore these apps from the backup, will google play update still work for these? Please guide me.

Obviously google play updates will work. They don't work only when the APK is signed by another key. And backing up an app dosen't do that. The key will be the same. So you've got no reason to worry about.

Is there a way to group widgets of a same application? I mean, when I say add widgets on homescreen, all different sized widgets of the same app is displayed ( like desktop visualizer will have 1x1,1x2,2x1,3x1 etc all showing ),is there a way to have it only show desktop visualizer and then on selecting it show all sizes under it ? Please help. I'm using Apex Launcher ( free ) with android 4.0.3 !
Hi there,
last time I used Titanium Backup for backuping up and restore all apps for changing the rom on my smartphone I got the error, that for some apps the notification was not working correctly.
As I read in the forum it was caused by restoring the apps via Titanium Backup
So, my question is:
Whats the best way to backup and restore all apps, so they can directly work on after changing a rom (with clean flashing).
