To get back to froyo from a gingerbread rom such as revolution or blitzkrieg would I just odin back to stock without changing back to froyo bootloader??

There are a lot of themes for most all roms if you choose to run one

As long as your rooted it shouldn't be a problem.

What is JVH?! and JVP and JFD AND JVQ AND ALL OF THAT. ?!
Those are all different Samsung rom builds. Jfd is the only important one to know, as it's the stock release firmware the phone shipped with that recovers from flashing miui/CM7 and recovering from voodoo filesystem conversions.
