I got the webtop hack on gingerblur 4.5 and it doesn't play sound out of the tv only out of the puone speaker.I checked my settings on the webtop and its set to play out of the tv and all.No settings I try seem to work.Is there something else that needs to be done to get the sound to work.

So, I put bamf remix on the phone the night I got it so never got a chance to look at the original DLNA app, but have noticed there isn't one in the Rom. Is there a particular reason why, or a way to get it back? I downloaded an app, twonk I think, but it sucks. Any better solutions? Also I know on phones with hdmi out you could show your screen copied directly and play games on the tv. Can you do this over DLNA? Thanks.

Webtop works but the sound only come out of the phones speaker.went to the sound options on the webtop and set it so that it plays through tv and nothing happens.
entertainment center works good sou.s does come out of the tv speakers and video is fine as well.

Maybe they can help you better in the Gingerblur forum? I don't have that issue running 2.3.4 with Navalynt's Mod. No theme or P.ROM.

Every time I connect to my car, either the music app or, now since I installed this other music app, starts automatically.
This is really annoying if say for instance I just want to play Pandora.
I'm on saurom 7.1.
Any help would be very much appreciated as I couldn't seem to find anything about this through the search.

Normally the setting are in the individual program.

This is a major shortcoming of android imho. Try headset button controller from the market.

Well, originally it was doing it with the standard music app that came with Saurom, I didn't uninstall that or anything, but now that I installed Meridian, it does it with that now.
I couldn't find any settings in meridian for that, but I guess I can check again,I may look in the standard music app's settings as well.

Yeah whenever I connect to my Ford Sync system, my BT audio always starts playing at some random song and usually midway. Rather annoying since my wife's ip4s commands are obeyed perfectly and BT audio waits for her to tell the system what song/album/artist to play.

Anyone managed to find a solution? This is so annoying.
I recently purchased a tv-out cable for my vibrant and it works great for pretty much everything. The only bug I've found is that when TV-out is selected in the settings, Netflix won't play. This is probably the best feature of having tv-out, so it seems strange that I've not found anything about it not working. The bug only exists when I run ICS roms. Does anyone else have this issue?
I don't remember having issues watching Netflix like this. Wheny phone is fixed up I'll check again.

Hey, is there any currently working way of disabling audiofocus for centan apps?
I want to listen to music on spotify and play video audio out of chrome or opera at the same time. I would prefer for the sporify audio to duck (reduce the volume) when opera is playing audio, but not stop compleately. If ducking isnt an option, playing with the same volume is fine too.
Ive tried the ADB command thing here on chrome, but it just made chrome not able to play any video. The video would play for .1 second and stop everytime.
Also ive tried samsung sound assistant, but a) there isnt an option to disable audio focus on apps anymore, b) my tab s2 (gts210velte/SM-T819) cant run the app anymore after installed lineage os 16.0 (android 9)
I dont care if its an app i have to buy, but i just need to be able to play multiple audio at the same time. If i cant mess with audiofocus is it possible to make spotify automatically play the music again after the other audio stops? Now i have to lower the drop-down notification bar and continue evrery time and its driving me crazy!
Also, the tablet is rooted via magisk.
Any help is appreciated

Nnm, if anybody has the same problem: found an app called app ops (root) that allows to disable audio focus.
First touhgt i had to disable it on opera browser, but when i did this opera wasnt able to play anything, then i disabled it from spotify and now its working as intended.
99% sure it works on chrome too.

Wow, i forgot how i did this. Recently got a new phone, started googling and found this thread i forgot i made.
At first it wasnt working, but noticed that if you are using viper4android you have to change settings to "Legacy mode". Im guessing it will work fine if not using viper.
Im trying to achieved the same thing. Successfully gained access to disable audio focus but when i do that it just doesnt allow apple music to play anything. Any specifics i should do?

Using App Ops, I disabled "audio focus" on the Spotify app, and was able to simultaneously play YouTube in browser (m.youtube.com via Kiwi).
