Anyone else think the tech blogs underestimated the EVO 3D? I, for one, think they did.

I wont lie, I underestimated it myself. Every hour I have with it, I love it more than the last. Every person i have showed the 3d you tube videos to absolutely tripped out and said they wanted one. Tip of the iceberg.....
I think they severly underestimated it!

ya i was planning on using my 30 day window most likely after all the reviews I read. I still wanted to play with it some though and I am glad I did. I am in love already.
Yes absolutely love this phone. I thought the 3d would be just a gimmick but it actually works and i love watching stuff in 3d.

Add another 1 from me. I knew it would be great going in though, and am even more impressed than I expected to be. Printing OMG! That feature alone convinced my 2 iPhone-toting wife to trade one of them in for an EVO 3D.
It seems to be that way... The phone has been very well received by the buying public that made the purchase. I'll be honest, I was a skeptic and didn't think that the 3D would be much of an improvement over the Evo 4G. But, I'll be picking mine up on Friday now.

now I need to get a wifi printer. LOL.
I knew the tech blogs were off, they didn't use the phone or review from the perspective of the end user, IMO. but once I got it wednsday, I have nothing but praise for it, really.
I do understand its a slightly bigger battery, but going nearly 21 hours off charger before it told me to plug it in with a good 5-6 hours of awake time, STOCK, is amazing. (i wil admit I was on wifi about half that time, rest of the time in an area known for weak signal with my old 4G) I do use green power, but doing a lot of stuff that normally puts a dent in battery usage on the 4G (words with friends, facebook, xda app, angry birds) barely register on 3vo.
I dunno if its Gingerbread or if HTC made the battery more efficient, but whatever it is, it will only get better once we get root. just sayin'
I think naysayers and skeptics who don't think this much of an upgrade over the original, need to spend a week with it, that 30 day return policy can come in handy if not. I know I am keeping it.
Coming from the EVO 4G I was certain it would be better. So that was my expectation and it has lived up to it. I too thought the 3D was gimmicky but I've come to enjoy it.
I have a hard time believing tech/blog writers anyway. What credentials do these people have? Most, if not all, are just normal users like us on this forum but somehow are made out to be respectable critics. So there will be reviewers that love this phone and there will be reviewers that hate this phone. It all comes down to personal preference.
I usually browse through all the reviews and look for common concerns/praise. Then I decide if what I'm reading will be an issue with me or if what they are saying is either (a) their lack of knowledge of the product, (b) blind hate, or (c) a legitimate concern.
I think it is hilarious that ever announcement you read, there is 100 SGS2 fans bashing the Evo3d. You don't see this as often the other way around.
Is the SGS2 that superior? I think not, I will be willing to say the Evo3d is ever bit as fast, if not faster in some instances.
Well a lot if sites reviewed it as the 3d is mandatory 24/7 or something.
Im not sure they even turned it off. 4hrs battery life???
4? That site was paid to give a ****ty review.
And complaining about 14 hrs of battery life being too little? Then admitting you bought a sensation and even though the Evo 3d is better you like the sensation.
That's fanboyism to the max. (Engadget)
In the end the people in xda have seemed to love it.
Xda is what matters.

I'm not sure that bashing reviewers who turned on all radios (including 4G) in a phone that is billed as the Evo 3D 4G is a bad thing, as long as it was clear that this is what they were doing to test.
Let's face it, evaluating how the Wimax performs now that there's significant competition is fair. When the OG Evo came out, the landscape was different. You may not like it, but oh well.
Evaluating the cameras and 3D in a device that has the feature in its name is also fair game. It's also the one feature that is highly subjective. My wife absolutely hates it and won't look at any picture I try to show her. I really like it, though I expect my fascination will pretty quickly wear off.
Like movie reviewers, tech reviewers are hard judges. They evaluate phones across all carriers, and weigh features against them all. How many times have you enjoyed a movie that Ebert hated?
In other words, get over it, and enjoy your phone already.

I was running the alliance ROM before I switched to the 3d, it's an improvement in every aspect over the OG EVO. Everything is significantly smoother, snappier, and just overall feels like a good upgrade.
They are all blowing their load on the SGS2.
You know what I'm happy they undersold this phone so badly.
I (we) had been waiting for this phone for 3 months. I had this phone built up in my head to a level I hadn't done with anything since well I was a kid and a new toy, or Sex for the 1st time. Then the reviews hit, and I swore they were wrong but was nervous. So nervous I almost didn't pick the phone up Friday morning. I didn't think there was ANY way possible the phone could live up to what I had built up in my head.
YEAH.. I just want to say thank you to reviewers for being Sooooo Far of on EVERY thing negative about the phone. This phone is better than I had even imagined. Still looking for the app but I'm pretty sure this bad boy prints money. It does everything else.

The phone is truly awesome. I think any company or organization that gave this phone a bad review should be ashamed of themselves. If Engadget truly gave this phone a bad review then they are a waste. I will never read any of their reviews again. Its is everything I thought it would be and more. The 3D photos are amazing. Love it!

It's all relative though. Of course everyone on this forum is going to love this phone. We are all paying hard earned money to purchase this product. Engadget receives these devices for free, and aren't really partial towards the Evo 3D.

the battery life absolutely sucks on this one. What do they expect, everybody to get spare batteries or extended batteries that make the phone look like a pregnant sumbitch. Totally disappointed with 4g data too. Never having owned a 4G device on sprint before, I was hoping to see a nice speed boost but the speeds are barely any improvement. 3D is wonderful, not as good as the 3D on my samsung 3DTV, but looks better than the 3DS. since its for my wife, I guess I will keep it. If it was for me, it would have been on its way back.

If you don't like it, you must be totally biased. Users here only want reviews that worship the phone. C'mon... get with the program.
Comparing with my thunderbolt, the synth. benchmarks all have the TB getting better scores. But thats probably because I have it o/cd at 1.4Ghz. I have a sense 3.0 rom on the TB, which seems smoother than the UI on the Evo 3d, but that may be just me!!!

Going to give my first impressions. Phone seems longer than the OG Evo. Battery cover is kind of annoying, thought I was going to break it. 3D camera actually works pretty well. Played some 3D Spiderman and was impressed with it. Accidentally hit the home button while playing and it kicked me back to the home screen, but without disabling 3D so the UI was freaking out and trying to display 3D. Will edit with more as I use it
I think I read that tvs that switch to 3d draw almost twice as much power, so the battery is no surprise, interested in 2d battery life, how long it lasts with normal use.

I'd like to wait for the SGSII but I fear that it won't come out for a while. I don't think I can wait until the holidays to upgrade my phone. Sprint doesn't normally put out a bunch of high-powered phones at the same time. I think the Evo 3d and the Photon (or whatever it's called) is going to be it for a while. The Photon is out for me because of the locked bootloader.
Meaning what? I expect it to "suck" so U might as well say it?!
I've had HTC phones for over 11 years. Huge fan. I'm the oldest HTC "fanboy" here. What are you talking about?
My point is we have too many forum Nazi's.
I have more of a democratic forum view: open market on views and idea's (def.: forum).
Am I dissaponted HTC hasn't upgraded some things? Yeah! Do I care whether or not that's popular? Ratsass. Same thing I tell my kids: lock into truth first. No filters.
Idiocy= on a Evo 3d forum, is saying a thread where people can give their view of the Evo 3D is WORTHLESS!

I ask this question sincerely. Its been hard keeping up with all the topics in this section of the forum, and there are many more complaints about things than real reviews from the people who own the phone. I'm on the fence. I've been looking for objective analysis of the phone from the people who have now had it, going on two days.
So, I ask, does anyone wish they didn't pre order? Anyone definitely bringing it back for something you would define as a deal breaker? I know I have nothing to lose to try it for 30 days, but I'm weighing it out to see if I should wait a while for things to get tidied up before I buy one.
Thanks
I know the release was a bit buggy, but HTC seems pretty good about fixing these issues considering the phone is not even out yet. You can count on the development for this phone skyrocketing once the bootloader becomes unlocked.
I only regret ordering via Early Purchase because my power button's broken, and I'm sitting, staring at my non-functional 3VO, hoping I can get it switched out tomorrow (crosses fingers that stars align).
For the brief time I did use it (finding ways to bypass the power button problem), no complaints.

Yeah, I know its a matter of when, not if on the bootloader so that wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. Minor bugs are a part of early adoption also. Is the phone really that much better than the OG Evo? I get the specs and all, but I'm running Sense 3.0 on my OG and it runs great. I'm sort of interested in taking 3D pics of my kids and the reports of the camera being better in general is a plus for me.
Thanks for the reply.

Despite any of the complaints or bugs that people have reported, I still say that this is an awesome phone, and don't regret buying it at all. Any of the bugs that are being reported now will likely be handled via ota's in a timely manner. Once the bootloader gets cracked and we can get some some custom roms and kernels on this thing it's all over. This is the smoothest phone I've used, even with stock sense.
EDIT: and after reading your second post, let me say that this thing runs 100% smoother and quicker than any of the 3.0 or 2.1/3.0 'hybrid' roms for the OG Evo. I've ran them all on my Evo, and this thing squashes the 3.0 Evo roms, in terms of speed and smoothness. The hardware is simply far superior on this, so it runs much smoother.

Thanks, this is the stuff I'm looking for. I tend to have periods of buyers remorse on certain purchases and while the bugs seem pretty minor, HTC still has a pretty good record of hot fixing things in short time.
I love the phone. I definitely have some complaints.. some are legit, others are preference based. You're gonna have to physically play around with one before you can really decide if it's for you or not. it is fast and smooth, I do still notice a hang here and there that I'm sure is the fault of Sense 3.0
Hoping to get this thing rooted but, it will be incredibly tough if HTC doesn't keep their promise. Still. rooted or not, I will keep this phone for at least a year..

Umm, yeah, I try nearly every rom that comes around and....umm...not a single 3.0 or 2.1/3.0 hybrid rom I came across would i consider even slightly close to smooth....I typically tune my phone extremely tight....and at first I blamed a lack of an OC kernel...but....even after letting it settle in for a while those roms on a 4G sucked. It was fun being able to play with my next phone--sorta--before I got it...but...not even close. I just couldn't get it to what I considered usable...while I understand that all phones aren't created equally...somehow...I've never had any bad luck at all with my Evo 4G...at all....if all phones aren't created equally (...aside from the physics and practicalities of CPU fabrication the verdict is still out on that one...) my OG Evo would be one of the best, cream of the crop....and those Sense 3.0alike roms were fun, but, the performance blew hard chunks.....I think perhaps "not all people's standards and expectations are created equal" is a more apt assessment of the situation....YMMV

I agree completely. I think people's expectations and interpretations of what 'smooth' and 'usable' is vary greatly. I never had a problem with my OG Evo (launch day evo, still mint condition), but none of the roms are as smooth as this thing is, and this is a stock htc rom! I can't imagine the possibilities that lay ahead with this phone.
Everything on this phone runs as smooth as butter. Multitasking is a dream and everytime i start an app, I cum a little its so fast. Feeling like you can reach into your screen when looking at 3d content annoys the hell out of me cuz i can't... Lol besides the few software quirks that show up here and there this phone is perfection. I am astounded by the difference between this and the 4G.. wow. I have not once felt any remorse.. buy this phone lol

Still the honeymoon. Check back in about 3 weeks when it gets ugly.
I am completely loving the entire experience so far! So smooth... Fast... I love that I can just pinch the browser window and it shows the pages/allows me to close and add more so quickly.
Battery life has been great for me! Sense 3.0 is crazy cool. U even think the vibration feedback feels so much better than the 4G. The 3D gives me a headache, but it is fun to show off. The camera for 2d focuses better... Can actually take a focused picture of my jack russell. The dog was always a blur on the 4G because he never stays still.
No remorse here at all. It's a solid device!

Seems, all the likes for this phone are eye candy, and not actual practicality. Aside from the 3D what can this phone do that the Evo can't with a custom rom? I keep asking myself, what need do I have with a phone that takes 3D movies or pictures, I mean, a cell phone should never be used as your main camera, the quality is never as good as a DSLR, or even a decent point and shoot. So at best the Evo 3D has more gimmicks then the Evo 4G. So I guess the question is, are the gimmicks worth the extra money?
As far as smoothness, maybe, maybe not. The latest Kingdom and Synergy roms run really smooth on the 4G. It may take a second for an app to come up, but I mean, come on, are our lives that fast paced that one second really matters? Man I miss the 80's.
Forget the 3D, it is just sweet novelty to show off and give your enemies headaches... Think dual core, sense 3.0 goodness. It's a great next gen Evo.

So, I've been in a huge pickle between the SGS2 and the HTC EVO 3d. Since it releases tomorrow and I've had my current dumbphone for 2.5 years, I'm really hankering for an upgrade. Verizon has been a lot of headaches personally with constant dropped calls in my home.
Specwise, yeah I do prefer the SGS2 for the main reasons of battery life and NFC. But apparently according to some further research, NFC isn't enabled in all SGS2s?
But if someone here can straight out tell me that the EVO 3d has the battery life to get me through at least two days of casual usage (web(non-flash), Google Music, Facebook, SSH into my server, 1 or 2 games during the bus/train ride.) then I'm going for the EVO 3d on Saturday. (I graduate High School tomorrow )
I'm impartial to 3d. I like it's application in the 3DS and I like it's application in Avatar but I do not think it's meant for a home viewing experience. I honestly have never seen an EVO 3D so IDK even vaguely how it looks on it.
I <3 NFC is the main reason I like the SGS2. I love that I could just walk out of the house with just my phone. Forget wallets, forget keys and just live digitally. OFC when I run out of battery I'm done for but ehh
I'd love a suggestion or two and yeah I do realize that HTC hasn't unlocked their bootloaders yet but I have faith that root will happen eventually.
You may be waiting a while.. we don't know yet. No one can really help you decide on two phones when we have no hands on info on one of them.
The only thing I will say, it we have no idea when the SGSII will be out. Are those features worth waiting up to 6 months to move into the next phone?
By the time out the next big phone will be right around the corner.
I agree with shadow. If they (Sprint and Samsung) delay the release of the SGS2 then it will be too late and a dollar short. But then again there's only two phones anyways; experimental and obsolete.
Epic 2 announced. 1.2 GHz SINGLE CORE Fail

As long as the Within is indeed the SGSII and it's coming out soon, then I'm happy.

Hi ColdH33t, Yes there are really NFC-microSD cards which will enable phones without NFC functionality to become enabled. Our company has the product and are working on making available to everyone for sure this year. Please visit the XDA thread below where I'll post full details after my 10th post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1168162&page=2
Please don't bump an obscenely old thread to promote something you're selling. That's not what this forum is for.

Hi Reaperofsouls06, I'm not trying to promote something I'm selling. I was responding to some inquiries made by forum members about the NFC microSD and was trying to give info as to why it is not yet in public everywhere in the market, and how our company has been pushing to make it happen, but have encountered obstacles (especially with the bigger players pertaining to the same product), and what our plan was to get a "universal"/ "open" version (which isnt controlled by the Big Companies, or Mobile Operators) to the market this year hopefully, and also have a "Developers" option, where we will have the codes available for Developers/programmers, which the bigger companies would not do.
I did not mean to come off as trying to sell a product.
Well i thought this phone was gonna be epic, which it really isnt that bad, just i feel as if htc really really skipped out on the quality of this phone, people taking phones back 3 or 4 times is just unacceptable, and all of these bugs in the software are ridiculous, from bad signal strength to wake locks, dead pixels and just careless quality issues like dust under the screen and in the cameras, just wish htc would of taken more time to get this one right since its such a fast and highly anticipated phone! My trust and reliability in htc has been lowered due to this product!

I haven't had one single issue with my phone that you referred to. But to be honest those issues happen to all phones when first released. There are always bad phones that get released first. Oh well ish happens....
I love the phone, and the fact that they #TEAMWIN just verified the 3D to be overclocked to 1.7 ghz with no unlocked bootloader is just a small hint of what this phone is about to become. SWEET!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats.....thanks for the unnecessary post. Take the phone back if you want.
Also, keep in mind that a lot of the people returning the phones are OCD about things typical people would never notice (most people here, including myself are).
The construction is great compared to any other phone. Compare it to the SGS2. Yes we have dead pixels, and etc. But the SGS2 has the same things, and even more (tinted screen, gps, massive over heating, etc).
All phones have problems. That is the result of an customizable, open system like android. Companies cannot catch everything in their testing. If you want a nearly (again, nearly, not perfect) phone upon release...then get an iphone and leave us be with our initially bug, but eventually awesome, killer phones we call androids.

I too was expecting to be blown away since I was coming from a samsung epic. After only a few days with my first HTC phone, I really don't know what the big deal is. Yeah ok the phone is 3d, but after a few pictures and video, I havnt used it at all. The phone is heavy like a brick compared to my epic. The screen doesn't have fighting chance against the epic, but it is sharper. I just have a feeling the galaxy s 2 will blow away this phone in every way. One thing I do like about this phone is I'm in love with sense 3.0

First of all don't use the word "epic" when talking about an htc device. It's just not right!
Joking aside some people have bad luck with phones and I am sure there are bad batches of every device no matter who makes it. I hear people talking about dead pixels and bugs everytime a new device comes out. I have never had any major issues with any of my HTC devices I have ever owned. I love this thing more everyday I have it. Call me an htc fanboy if u will but there is a reason I always go with HTC.

Your view on the screen is exactly that, only your view. I personally, after comparing the evo3d to a friend's SGS2, prefer everything about the evo 3d. The screen resolution is awesome, and the colors are very accurate. I compared both phones to a color calibrated monitor. All three devices had the same picture. The evo3d looked just like the monitor....while the SGS2 look grossly oversaturated.
Here is a perfect example. I use my phone to view a lot of images taken with fluorescent microscopes. If I view the picture on my evo3d...it looks perfect. If we view it on my buddies SGS2...the picture is completely unreadable/you can't make an conclusion about your data.
In terms of the rest of the phone...I have posted this page before.
http://www.droidgamers.com/index.ph...1661-dual-core-beasts-the-decision-to-buy-one
Maybe I seem like a fanboy. But I have used and researched both phones. They both are awesome! But I prefer the evo 3d.
Should have saved your .02 !!
Samsung FTW...... oh wait, what is today? HTC day? Ok sorry.... HTC FTW!!
It really depends on the flavor of the week. Im sticking with my 3D. Ive liked HTC products since they were known as UTStarcom (Apache days).
Hello,
I still think it is far to early in the game to really know any definitive answers about the true potential of the 3VO as the overwhelming majority of Software out there does not take advantage of the Dual Core's of the 3D.
In time, this phone will be fully Rooted and there will also be Software that takes greater advantage of the 3D's Processing Capabilities.
In the mean time, there is far more Memory on the 3D over the 4G, a higher resolution Screen, Sense 3.0 (I realize some do not care for Sense, but I do), and more.
I really think for whatever reason that after some Professional Reviews took a negative take on this Phone, many people have seen the worst in the Phone. All I can say is that if you are not happy, by all means Return it. I personally think it to be a mistake, but it is your money. And with Samsung, they are slow in Releasing Android OS Updates, so while the new Galaxy might be compelling, all is not perfect there.
Cheers,
JJ

Well I didnt what to get into details, cause I dont have my EVO long enough. But right out the box, I feel like the epic screen is much better. Also the EVO feels much heavier. I also didn't feel the difference between processors.
My lcd is tilted. I went in to exchange it and the new phone had a tilted lcd and a dead pixel. Obviously I kept the first one. I haven't had any software issues and this thing runs like a dream. It does suck that there are these hardware issues but it doesn't seen like there are more issues than with most phones that are released. My wife for instance is on her 5th epic 4G and I am taking it into Sprint tonight to have it looked at for another issue..

Seriously, you are in your 30 day window.....return the 3D and get your epic back....We don't care if you liked your epic screen better.....so take the 3D back and go away....why do people insist in stupid posts like this....I don't go into the epic forum and brag about how much better my phone is.....(maybe I should start) but I am not a troll.
Been using this phone for nearly 2 weeks now, and for the most part, I've been happy. However, with the Galaxy S III coming in a few weeks, I feel as though I should have at least waited before figuring out which phone I was going to use for the next 2 years. Because of that I decided to return the phone back to Wirefly and go back to using an old Blackberry until I decide to go back to the LTEVO or the GS III. I sold my E4GT so I can't go back to that.
LTEVO Pros
-Beautiful screen
-Excellent build quality and in-hand feel
-Very good (relatively) 3g performance in my area
LTEVO Cons
-Phone performance not that great, especially after opening and switching between a few apps
-Camera is good, but not nearly as good as I had hoped it would be
The two cons are biggies for me. I know for a fact that the sluggishness is related to software, but if you've ever used a Galaxy S II device, you'll realize how spoiled you were by how fast and responsive that phone was. It's an HTC thing; their software sucks compared to Samsung. Even using the T-Mo GSII based on the Qualcomm SoC felt a lot faster than any HTC phone based on the same SoC. I'm not saying TouchWiz is more functional than Sense, I'm just saying it's FASTER, which is 100% true.
The camera is good but the low light performance isn't as great as I had hoped it would be. Comparing to shots from my GSII, LTEVO shots were much more grainy. I also don't like the HTC camera software, and it might even be Sense related. I feel the software isn't fast nor intuitive. I hate the focusing mechanisms. Call me crazy, but I like crosshairs and boxes that help you determine what exactly is being focused. Also, the software isn't responsive. Taking out my phone and snapping a picture isn't very fast. It's acceptable, but like I said, with another great phone around the corner, there's really no reason why I shouldn't test them both and then decide which of the two I'd rather keep.
I'm not trying to bash the LTEVO. I'm sure we'll all agree, the device is far from perfect (all the devices are, in fact). However, I think most of us have the opportunity of trying BOTH phones before finally deciding which to go with. In a sense (no pun intended), the LTEVO delay was a blessing in disguise. Had it been launched on time, we'd be stuck with it. Now we have the chance of putting it up against a very formidable opponent and choosing which phone fits our style better. The GSIII could very well suck, but thankfully we have the luxury of being able to choose the phone we want because of how close together their launches were. I could be returning my phone, just to re-purchase it in a month, but I feel I have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If the GSIII is a rockstar then I'm going to be kicking myself for not getting it instead.
Anyway, does anyone else feel as though they jumped the gun, and will be trying out the GSIII?
I feel this way only a little bit.. luckily best buy has a 30 day exchange. I am going to try both of them. This is a pretty solid phone, but I can not stand the browser always flashing white while scrolling, and the reception issues. I know both probably can get updated to work fine, but it is bothering me. I am going to test out the GSIII and see how the radios perform. If they are not up to speed I will probably stick with this phone and hope the updates come soon enough.

We are still on a stock ROM since it was released a couple weeks ago. I would imagine some of the issues you describe will be ironed out in upcoming ROM updates from Sprint and HTC. You also forgot other pros about this device like very good battery life, Beats by Dr. Dre, outstanding camera. No I didn't jump the gun. The GS3 will not be perfect at release also. Every device has bugs that need fixing.
If you think the camera isn't that great, take a look at one of the pictures I posted a while back here in the General forum.

Not at all. I don't use Samsung on principle, they are in bed ith Apple and playing both sides of the market. I have used the SGS phones and they're not better or worse, just different - depending on what you value in a phone. I also don't experience any of the cons you are complaining about, but everybody has different expectations and experiences.
Why do so many people start threads asking for others to take their side in decisions like this? If you don't like the phone, just return it and keep looking until you find something you do like. You don't need 1000 signatures on your petition to return the phone. It's your preference, do what works for you.
Just know that you'll be able to find something wrong with the SGS3 as well if you're honest with yourself.

Yea these people are getting ridiculous.. You don't like the camera app? What's not to like? I your reaching for that.. Go into the gs3 forums and you will quickly find out that people are having problems with them as well.. Not a phone problem as much as being an early adopter problem.. Can't believe u don't like the camera.. Some people will never be happy.. I'll end with this.. A software update will fix all these issues ppl have..multi tasking being my main one.. But a software update won't give uba metal unibody, kickstand and just an overall better built phone.. Same s4 chip in ppl.. I swear ppl are adhd nowadays
Nah. I don't have any performance issues and the only camera issue I have is that the hardware shutter button is half useless (only holds the focus, does not refocus when half pressed)
Also Deck is working on CM9 for the evo lte so that is a huge pro right there.
The battery life is amazing.

I didn't feel like this until i found out about the 2gb ram in the gs3. I like everything about the phone though, just wish it had 2gb. I wanted the best phone spec wise fir longer than a couple weeks.
I understand the agitation since every time I refresh xda I see another one of these posts.. I guess it's just hard for me to imagine wanting a Samsung.. I'm hard core HTC.. And with or previous devices I was willing to concede that maybe Samsung were better in some areas.. IE the gs2 vs my evo 3d.. The gs2 may have been better I guess to some or most of but I wouldn't have it.. I loved my 3d despite all the naysayers.. Anywho I really believe that with the evo LTE that HTC is back on top.. Esp hardware wise.. I dunno how someone could even argue that the gs3 is better in that regard.. Esp. With the same soc...so the software bugs will get worked out.. Just hold out... It's ok to enjoy your phone and focus on what it does well instead
I don't think I jumped the gun, just wish I had a magical gun to make all the Samsung trolls disappear
