Hello everyone.I tried to update my phone at 2.3 using LG Mobile Support Tool. Some of my friends recommended me this way, because they tried and it was ok.Anyway,i connected phone to program and started update. At 4% i heard a beep, like the usb cable disconnected and immediately another beep like usb connected again.A yellow screen appear on the phone and it was written:"Emergency mode".Then the update continued. At 55% i heard a beep again like phone disconnected from usb. Then it has started to install some drivers, and another beep like phone connected again and the update process continued, but on the screen appeared a charged battery, like normal charging when phone is closed. After this the update process continued again until 100% and it said complete.I removed the usb and press turn on button. It has showed me LG LOGO and the that write"android" which keeps lighting from side to side. And there my phone is stuck.I removed battery and started again,no luck. What should i do?
Ps*Before this my phone had devoid final installed.Few peoples who updated their phone this way told me that's not a problem, and i am sure that they updated with success.
Home + Volume Down + Power
Omg you're a life saver ^^ Thank you a lot

Ahahahah!
Yeah, LOL. Don't know what is with that but it seems to be mostly required after using KDZ or similar tool. One would assume it is pointless since the phone has just been wiped clean.
Shrug.
Hi all,
I tried to update using the LG update tool, and got this other issue:
got to the yellow screen (emergency mode) and the application stuck. Then it asked me to remove the battery and put it back in, and press "retry". Obviously, it didn't work, and the phone is stuck on the "LG" bootup screen.
Tried home+vol_down+power, and it doesn't work, the only combination that works is back+vol_up+power, bringing the emergency mode back up, but sadly I closed the updater from the PC.
What can I do here?

So I rooted my phone 3 months ago. Using the external 64g card trick and everything went perfect.
Had SU installed, and titanium running.
January 1st my phone battery died while riding home on my motorcycle or was close. I had it on the charger when it died. The phone went into a reboot mode. It has the battery, with the circle in the middle and vibrating every few seconds.
I can get into the recover mode when plugged into the samsung wall charger. But I can only get into download mode on usb with computer.
Using odin 3 v3.09.
I loaded it up with the jflte_usa_vzw_16g.pit file in the pit section.
Then loaded up all_i545vruemk2_i545vzwemk2_1937946_rev06_user_low_ship_muti_cer.tar.md5 in the AP section
Thinking the above would be the most up to date. I'm traveling and need the phone and not worried about root anymore.
So it went through the md5 checking. Good
Then without changing any other settings I hit start.
13 minutes later, I get a reset above the id:com
I let it go with out touching the phone.
Then it gives me a pass without any errors.
So I unplugged my phone off the usb cable, pull the battery. Reinstall after 30 seconds. Nothing.
I plug into the usb and it goes back to battery icon and circle like nothing happened.
I can get into download on usb to computer
And recovery only on wall charger
I did try a factory reset and cache reset
Looked like it worked
But phone unchanged.
I then tried the kies firmware and initialization mode.
Loaded up my sch-i545 then my IMEI,
It conects, downloads, installs, finishes, no errors
Unplug and dead, plug in usb, battery icon and circle,
Plug to wall, recover mode,
So phone seems like its taken both updates without errors. But acts unchanged.
Would the vibration from my handle bar mount cause a sudden issue? I've been running this set up for months without issue.
I'm at a loss. I read is you can get it into download mode it should be able to get recovered.
Tried all I know and have read about.
So now with phone plugged into the samsung wall charger.
I went to download mode, selected re-start
Phone booted,
Samsung, unlocked padlock
Samsung blue purple splash screen. (Blue led light)
Verizon screen almost fully loaded (blue led light)
Then phone shuts off, goes back to battery icon with circle.

did you ever find a solution for this? This seems like the exact same problem I am having with my phone. Everything was working until it lost power. Now the power button will not turn device on. It will only turn on when connected to usb computer or wall charger and just shows an empty battery sign. It seems to reboot every 15 seconds from this. If I go into download mode and chose restart phone it gets to the white verizon loading screen and reboots. I can get to both download and recovery mode and flashed the stock full wipe and PIT file and this process succeeded but the phone is still doing the same thing.

My i545 is a similar phenomenon.
I am afraid to say, that as far as I know, with the Knox bootloader, it disallows any upgrading what so ever. I have heard of this bricking devices. The only way out of this is to see if you can reflash the most current ROM, but I am unsure if even that will work.
I tried to unlock the bootloader of my LG L Bello 2 phone, and after rebooting in recovery mode it would start. I tried holding down volume down and power button but nothing happened! So I plugged it in my computer, and it keeps getting connected and disconnected, even after I unplugged the battery and put it in again so it should've been turned off. It seems like the phone turns on without me pressing the power button.
1. I take out battery and put it back in
2. I connect it to the computer
3. Computer makes noises as it's getting connected and disconnected all the time, but it still never gets recognized by the computer. I tried LGs tools but it won't work as it isn't connected for long enough.
4. Volume down + power button trick doesn't work. Nothing happens. That's the first thing I tried.
(I hear no sounds, and it doesn't vibrate or anything, I only know it has some life because the computer made noises when I have it plugged in)
Any ideas? I've tried everything
Ok guys so heres the background of it.
A friend gave me this phone to use . Im not sure of the variants this phone has or much background with LG rooting or rom installation. This phone at the time of my possesion was at 5.1 version of OS. I tried updating like normal OTA but it didnt. i searched the net to see how can i update it to 6.0 or 7.0 a youtube video showed using LG Bridge. as soon as i connected it to the LG bridge it showed me 2 updates. i dont remember the details as to version or what the patch was but it showed Marshmallow.
After the download through LG bridge was done it started on the update part on pc and the cell phone after a while the screen got dead. like no power dead. I thought it would restart but it didnt. So far connecting to any power source wont show me any signs of life . But when i connect it to a pc USB cable i hear the sound the pc makes when u attach any usb device.
Is there anyway i can recover this mobile phone. if so how .
Details that i can provide are
Boot Animation = T-Mobile
The Variant Number on the back under battery = H901

i have had my v10 bought it preowned in october 2016. no problems. i was going to root and rom it, but found it to be much more difficult than the g2 or my friends phones that i would play with.. i never had any issues so i never did it. the newest update came out and i updated it. still no problems. i did notice my battery drains really fast.. but it is not swollen. i have been on the newest update for at least a month. i moved from texas to hawaii 2 months ago.
i was at the beach and wanted to take a picture. i took the picture, then used the power button to shut the screen off. a minute later i wanted to take another picture, but the screen wouldnt turn on... at all. so i held the power button down and it turned off.... but now it wont turn back on. i tried removing the battery and get nothing. i get nothing when i plug it in to charge it. however if i take the sim card out and put it back in, then put battery back in then plug it in, it will show the screen that is the empty battery with the circle thing for only a moment then shut back off. it was early in the day when i went to take the pic and should have had about 80% battery.
again i have had zero problems from my phone. i try holding volume down and power button and i get nothing.
i just moved to hawaii and dont have the money to buy another phone right now
i have to figure this out. im always the friend that fixes peoples phone so i figure i can get this done.
in tmobile store after removing and replacing the sim we were able to get the lg load screen then it shut off.
then switched it with my daughters sim card and it took me to the lg load screen then the white tmobile screen... then it shut off.
any fixes for this? i have to drive all the way to the other side of the island to buy a battery which i was thinking might work .. but there are no signs on m y current battery that it is bad .. other than knowing it is a year old. i have always been careful with it to try to let it charge fully and not always plugging it in and out.
so i tried reset and it went to green screen and it says apps watchdog bite

so i removed battery again then plugged it into charge, it went to a screen with the battery on it now i have a black screen !! that says kernel crash!
Your phone is hardbricked. Because of the update it's now in qualcomm hs-usb 9008 mode you can see this in windows pc when you enter device manager then see connected ports
Check this:

LG bridge killed my LG v10 phone
I am facing the exact same issue and now the phone is dead... Not able to hard reset.. tried switching it on but no use.. in the beginning it was stuck on Android 5.0 and even when there were updates available my LG V10 was showing that I and the latest update.. few posts online suggested of using LG bridge and it scanned with a notification suggesting of updation to marshmallow andriod 6.0 .. The LG bridge downloaded 1gb+ update and then it showed installing on PC as well as on phone . Then suddenly when it showed 100% completion , the phone died and not able to switch it on... Same notification tone when attaching the USB to pc but no response on phone ..
Please suggest what to do..
try to install official os if you have option to go download mode then i think your problem solve

i'm facing the same problem... how did u fix it?
Me too facing same issue, any help
Hello everyone,
i got a problem with my z ultra and have tried looking similar problem on this forum but none of the solution seems working.
Please note that i have a stock phone, never did anything to it including unlocking rooting etc as i have no idea what it is, just casual usage.
So the problem occured when i tried to move an apps from sd card to my internal storage, and then my phone freezed midways,
the phone went unresponsive just showing the freezing screen.
Then i pushed the red button near the sim tray hoping the phone will reboot as i had similar problem before, and thought that it was just another minor problem and it worked.
But this time after pushing the red button the phone wont reboot again after i try to turn it on again using the power button, only a vibration but the screen showed no display whatsoever.
Ive been looking a solution on this forum with similar problem and there was a suggestion to connect the phone to power source and push the power and + vol together but there was only vibration thrice without indication of my problem has been solved.
Ive also tried a solution on youtube to disconnect the power cable, charge it to power source, wait for the Red LED to blink and reconnect the power cable again but it wasnt working.
Long story short after trying several method now my phone only blinking Red LED 3 times when i tried to turn it on, i tried to charge it to full but the Red LED keeps showing on even after i discharged it, so i had to push the power and + vol button to turn it off.
I suspect that my phone is hardbricked looking at the symptomps
Please anybody here could help me to fix it?
It's probably not hard-bricked.
Try this,
1, connect your USB cable to PC (without phone connected to it )
2, press volume up button and then plug in the usb cable to your phone
3, if light goes blue colour then you are back in business and you can still revive your phone
step 3 if successfull means your phone is up with fastboot mode and you can upload a recovery via flashtool
let me know your results ,

Hello everyone, you see, my kid dropped my Moto Z like a month ago and since then, it had trouble charging, but, outside charging port issues, the thing was working fine until last week when it started to lag like crazy, apps stuttered, crashed every time I tried to delete or install any app.
today the thing rebooted itself and during the boost screen (the blue one that reads moto) there was a small text that said "Bootmode is not-factory", so once it restarted, I decided to do a factory reset, but now the phone is stuck in a bootloop, it flashes the boot screen accompanied by "Bootmode is "recovery" over and over again
anyone can give me a hand?

I dont know if you fixed or not but if you can enter the bootloader mode using the Power button + Volume down combo (hold them down) you can use this tool from motorola to rescue the phone. Assuming you can get it to stay connected via usb to your computer and you have access to bootloader shortcut
